Excellent! I had a lovely time at the establishment. The staff were really warm and friendly. Definitely visiting here again.

Good parking , Welcomed into a very Rustic Dining room. We chose only Tapas. Specials looked good. Delightful pre meal nibbles. Food arrived in a short while. All dishes were authentic, different, flavourful. Wine we chose was lovely. Almond Dessert was fabulous. Service excellent. What I liked about this was all dishes were not what you would get anywhere else. Originality is CHEs strength. We will visit soon. Its a 2o mile each way so worth the journey. Its a small Restaurant so be sure and book. Separate room for those with pets(Good idea)

Enjoyed great tapas and warm friendly service. The winning dish was the home-made baked cheesecake...light and delicious. Che is a little star in an otherwise lacking village,

Excellent! We had a lovely family meal here on Sunday. 16 dishes ordered, all delicious. Only downside is that the restaurant is too far from our home to go each week! Perfect service and setting. Really good value for money. We will definitely find an excuse to go back - highly recommended.

What can we say? Amazing food, great surroundings and wonderful service. We ate here twice during our latest visit to Stanhope and loved the whole experience. Great, authentic food, and my son described his fillet steak as the best he’d ever tasted. Happy.

Our first visit, but certainly won't be our last. Delicious tapas served by charming and friendly staff; even our slobbery dogs were made to feel very welcome! Beautiful venue, both inside and out. Highly recommend.

Visited with our grandson, and were really looking forward to it. Checked the menu in advance online with a view to speeding up the wait etc. Unfortunately, the burger range was not available as apparently they were having problems getting them! Anyway, we ordered the sharing platter as a starter. It was quite nice, a range of meats, fruit and cheeses, sadly the hot main courses arrived two minutes later, no room on the table for them so they had to place on an adjacent table until we had finished the platter. One of the side dishes was a bowl of chips, which sadly were saturated in salt, when mentioned the staff did replace them without issue. The restaurant was very clean, the staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive. The food itself was OK and well presented. Free parking and in a lovely location

We had a fabulous meal at Che last night, we shared a tomahawk steak and it was cooked to perfection, lovely atmosphere and friendly service

We tried to get booked here for Jubilee weekend for a dog friendly table but unfortunately we had left it too late! They managed to squeeze us in for a takeaway instead. The food was absolutely outstanding, very authentic Spanish fare. Meatballs, chorizo, potato bravas along with sharing plata all beautiful, bread was also gorgeous. Finished with churros which was served traditionally with chocolate, 10/10 Superb, we would totally recommend!

Visited here for an evening mea.Great staff ,lovely food and ambience.Quite authentic. Little bit pricey but worth it.Car park is a bit small. Restaurant very cosy and maybe a bit too cosy when all the tables are booked!

We have had take away food from this small restaurant before but this was our first visit to'eat in'. It is small but that adds to the atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a great choice of food including tapas and specials. The seafood was excellent as were the meatballs in tomato sauce. Plenty to choose from. Well worth a visit but book as they do get busy.

What a lovely little restaurant. We went for a family visit yesterday and had a wonderful meal. The restaurant is cosy with lovely ambience and the staff were very welcoming. We had a selection of tapas between us and were really impressed. The fried squid was crisp on the outside and beautifully tender, the fried potatoes with chorizo and goats cheese were really delicious and moreish, and the anchovies and olives I had were absolutely perfect. My Mum had the meatballs which she said were very succulent and flavoursome. Can’t wait to go again and try some more of the menu!

The food in this gem of a restaurant is to die for. The entrecote steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The atmosphere was lovely and the service great. It is a little piece of Spain in Weardale . PERFECTION.!!!!!
