The best restaurants in North Norfolk East of England

Small cafe with a handful of tables. Excellent breakfast for a very reasonable cost, £6 for a full English. Dog friendly with a sausage treat for them. We visited 2 mornings with 4 adults and 4 dogs. Would throughly recommend.

Just a lovely little spot to stop for a snack, we only had a toasted cheese and onion sandwich along with coffees and it was lovely and the staff were delightful..

We were on holiday and wanted our lunch. Called into the cafe, we were going to have the cottage pie, I asked if there were peas in it, I was told yes, so I said I only wanted one then for my husband, and I’d have the liver & onions with mash and bacon strips. When it came the gravy was mixed with peas, lots of them mixed in with it! Peas was not mentioned on the menu,I could’ve taken it back,but they were busy, so I just moved it all around abit. I went home hungry, and they are £12 better off. Lovely cafe, roomy, polite. But not again. I hate peas!

I had the best ever eggs benedict at the Parlour. The generous amount of ham was so flavoursome, the hollandaise sauce perfect and eggs well poached. My boyfriend had the full English and said that was excellent also. Lovely barn and a great shop next door to get unpasteurised milk from the machine.

Visited this lovely bakery on Sunday for the first time. The range of bakery items is outstanding with reasonable prices and friendly staff. The carrot cake especially is so yummy. A must go to bakery in Wells.

Popped in for a quick take-away to have on the train Took the Norfolk Pasty Well filled with good meat and veg, enough gravy (not too much to get down my front!) and lovely pastry. Staff were really friendly and helpful And the place was busy - always a good sign

Visited recently, adequate menu, order food at the bar. We had Scampi & Chips, prawn salad with chips and Pizza. Nice food served fairly quickly and the young staff were very friendly and efficient. We will revisit when in the area.

This was one of our favourite quirky finds when on holiday last year. Choose your own donuts...yes please! No arguments from the kids as they can choose their own. Lovely, entrepreneurial family run business. It was highly recommended to us by the Hotel we stayed at - i can see why! We will be back when we csn visit the area again.

The dressed crab was absolutely fresh and mind-blowing. It completely restored my faith in what dressed crab should be. A true seafood gem. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in Cromer.

My husband found out about this place in a leaflet in your holiday cottage, so we visited after a walk round the Blickling Estate & Gardens. We had a very warm welcome and were lucky got the last available table. I choose the bacon, brie & cranberry I didn't fancy bacon and that wasn't a problem, it was very tasty and the coffee was delicious. Well worth a visit, with great service and friendly staff.

Great selection of fresh meat, outstanding service & fantastic range of product. Ordered a baguette through their Snappy Shopper app today, quick delivery & delicious! Highly recommend.

A really fantastic little stall that long established & sells the freshest seafood ever! The crab sandwiches & the mussels that we bought were absolutely delicious. So nice to see that these local, traditional stalls still exist at seaside towns.

Estupenda comida. Comida que te hace sentir especial. Puedes disfrutar de un fantástico espectáculo de sabor a toda la comida que no hacen en casa. Presentación hizo mucho más especial. Excelentes vinos para cubrir la mayoría de los palés. Bien merece una visita.

Swift service, colourful selection of ices (see photo). Reasonable prices for effectively a seafront operation. Good location.

Was in Norwich for a family wedding and decided to stay for a few extra days sightseeing. Stopped at the Albey Horseshoes for a Sunday roast which was absolutely fabulous. One of the nicest roasts in a very long time. All home cooked by the landlady and plenty of it. Had a selection of 3 different meats & you could choose which one you wanted or all 3 if you're hungry We had a lovely reception and the landlord was really friendly and welcoming & made one of the best jugs of Pimms, thank you We had a superb meal, great hospitality and one of the tastiest roasts around Don't be put off by the exterior and please don't drive on by, you won't be disappointed by the food & fabulous hospitality within. A great find and if we ever go back to Norwich we will definitely be going back
