Swift service, colourful selection of ices (see photo). Reasonable prices for effectively a seafront operation. Good location.

We wanted whippy ice cream…and we got great value, yummy whippy ice cream!! £1.50 for a small strawberry striped ice cream and £2.50 for a medium. Our daughter loved her strawberry ice cream, as you can see. Lovely friendly staff.

My children love this ice cream window- it’s what we associate Cromer with! The choices are excellent, the staff are so friendly and the prices are reasonable!

Nice Mr Whippy, but it's hard to mess up a machine made whippy. Friendly staff but I would prefer it if they either wore catering gloves or wrapped a napkin round the cone.

Loads of flavours to choose from! Friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Behind the building offers great views down to the pier and beach.

Amazing ice-cream!! Best we have ever had! We love coming to Cromer simply just to visit here and if they do an order wrong they give it out for free and create another without any hassle

We purchased a range of ice creams and slushies here, and they were all delicious and good value. However the food hygiene is shocking and can’t possibly meet guidelines. My ice cream cone was filled by a male assistant who appeared senior/in charge, and he passed it with his bare hands to a young female who passed it to me then used both hands to handle money and she did not sanitise her hands before touching the next ice cream cone. She also had long fake nails that I do not believe are permitted in food handling environments. Unusual these days they ask for all payments in cash if possible, where as contactless payments could be so much more hygienic. Furthermore my chocolate drizzle whipped ice cream suddenly became a mint drizzle one as I got down to the cone so they had not cleared the machine from the previous order. Contrast this with a nearby ice cream place - they wrap a napkin around the cone so do not touch your food and seem to have one person handling ice creams and one taking payments. They also empty the previous flavour ice cream into a jug so you only get the flavour you want! I know where I will go again next time.

Friendly, patient staff, tasty ice cream. The staff all seemed to be enjoying their job, smiling and happy - makes a big difference when customers see this. We had various different flavours and toppings, cones were fresh too 👌

Very nice ice cream. Lower rating for a rather rude, older member of staff dismissively telling me to move after taking my payment. All I was doing was waiting for my order, not blocking other customers from service, and there was only one other person in the queue behind me at the time. Customers are paying your wages, so yes, they are entitled to more respect than that.

Fabulous tasting ice cream. Had the chocolate dipped and the strawberry swirl, both were delicious. Couldn’t have been more helpful either, and all at a reasonable price too.

Lots of different whippy ice cream flavours available, I just had a small waffle cone and that seemed really quite big to me - I wonder how big a large would be! It was only £2 as well - bargain! Lovely vanilla flavour, cool and didn’t drip straight away. Not as busy as I expected and great quality ice cream 😊

We'd been to Felbrigg Hall for an outing and decided to call in at Cromer for a walk around and some sea air. As I was walking from the car park to the seafront I was thinking I'd like a cold thick shake to cool me down. We saw this ice cream shop as we walked along and I thought I'd have to have a cornet. And then - in the menu was a Thick Shake! I asked what flavours they did and was told anything in the Whippy Ice Cream list. I chose butter pecan and it was just amazing. A great big beaker full and a great flavour, a real enjoyment.

So many varieties, so little time. It was hard but I gave it a go and tried as many as I could in a week. Well, someone has to do it.

Tasty ice cream and it looks beautiful. The shop is always busy with a queue outside. It’s a shame that they only Celt cash at the moment.

Normally when we visit Cromer we always go for at least one ice cream from windows- and usually more than one- it’s family tradition! Last year we were impressed that the staff were sanitising hands between customers and happily bought several ice creams in the week. This year, sadly after watching the staff taking cash from customer after customer there was no hand washing, no sanitising and one particular staff member who was constantly touching her face. There wasn’t even a bottle of sanitiser visible for customer use. In the current climate not really acceptable and certainly no food hygiene practices evident. Not wishing to risk spoiling our holiday by being ill we gave it a miss this year and bought our ice creams at another venue where staff washed their hands between customers! A shame but disappointing ☹️

We always use this ice cream shop when we visit Cromer on a regular basis in the summer and haven’t had any problems with it before. But we visited it on Friday 13th August and me and my daughter both had whippy ice creams (one with chocolate striped and the other with rainbow combo) and something must have been wrong with the machine as we were both violently sick soon after and kept being sick for 24 hours after that. Someone needs to deep clean your machine or have it checked for salmonella or listeria. You have lost a long time customer with us as we won’t be using your services ever again!

Yummy yummy ice cream. Good price for a beach side ice cream. Only down side was the fun coloured whipped ice cream when you got to the bottom of the cone still had the flavour of the person before you. I don't like banana and someone clearly had it before me the bright yellow was the second give away so was unable to finish it my son had the same problem unfortunately. But we would still go back

Serving from early to late! Probably one of the last shops to close! Amazing selection of flavours and toppings for all to choose from.

The gelato was excellent, generous portions and speedy service despite the queues. Will definitely be back.

We always stop at Windows for an ice cream treat, or should I say gelato. The coffee flavour is one of my favourites. Maple and Walnut was not as good this visit as last. The cones are large and the ice cream fills them up.

A visit to Cromer isn't complete without stopping by this place. The ice creams are huge but also good value. The selection is vast... We love the option to dip your ice cream in chocolate!

This shop is 2 little windows on corner of the street the choice of flavours was amazing there was at least 15 choices plus sorbets as well and when you got a scoop it was a decent size not a spoon full i asked for...

If you like your ice cream then make your way to Windows, they are generous with their scoops, they have lots of flavours to tempt you, well worth a visit.

Great little ice cream shop, they do not stint on the portions, I had a two scoop cornet and it was huge, plenty of flavours to choose from as well as normal squirts ice creams and 99’s.

We sampled the mint choc chip and the chocolate chip and both were delicious. Great choice of ice cream flavours, cones and sauce.

Couldnt resist one of these colourful ice creams during a visit to Cromer in 2016. We loved it that much we made a bee line for the place this year in July 2017. Although he didnt have our beloved Black Cherry flavour from 2016 The Bubblegum flavour and the Strawberry Flavours were excellent replacements. We had the largest ones with flakes in ....... which at £2.00 each i think are excellent value. The bonus is the location as well. So after selecting your ice cream you get to munch it with a spectacular view from the cliff top. Cant wait for the next one :-)
