Daddy Donuts in North Norfolk

This was one of our favourite quirky finds when on holiday last year. Choose your own donuts...yes please! No arguments from the kids as they can choose their own. Lovely, entrepreneurial family run business. It was highly recommended to us by the Hotel we stayed at - i can see why! We will be back when we csn visit the area again.

We decided to stop here for lunch as my son wanted to try out their donuts. We ordered some drinks and hot food to start and they too ages to arrive. Had to chase for our drinks after waiting over 40 minutes for them to arrive to then have to wait a further 15 minutes for them to turn up (still minus 1 that I had to chase again) food took over an hour and a half to arrive. Burgers were disappointing, they looked like they had been microwaved. My fries with pulled pork was nice though. And the donuts, we ordered for pudding but ended up taking away as we had such a long wait for food, were delicious. Next time think I'd skip lunch and just get the donuts. Also if you are looking for a place that has good COVID-19 precautions maybe give this place a miss for now as none of the staff were wearing face masks and the seating is a little close together indoors

What a place & what a find! You can tell this is a genuine family run business as everything is so well thought out. Perfect for families or adults that fancy a naughty little treat. The whole place is immaculately clean & how could anyone resist a chocolatey smothered donut! Absolutely delicious, will be back soon!

Went in yesterday lunchtime with my sister to take advantage of the government's eat out to help out scheme. I had the pulled pork dirty fries and a bacon cheese burger. Amazing! My sister had the very cheesy fries and a doughnut burger. Also amazing. We also bought a box of doughnuts but were too stuffed to eat them. Took them with us and when we got around to eating them... Also amazing! It's a very child friendly venue and I've booked us in for my nephew's 6th birthday next week. All my nieces and nephew's have been before and they all love it. The prices have always been reasonable but with the government scheme it's even better value for money. Get in if you can, you won't regret it.

I visited Daddys’s Donuts with my children yesterday afternoon. We were made very welcome and seated ourselves in the fab looking retro American diner style restaurant. Everything was clean and tidy and hand sanitiser was available. The menu choices were great and everything was made to order. We opted for fries and a signature donut each. There was a big selection of donut toppings to choose from with yummy chocolate bar toppings. We went for Biscoff, Flake and a Reece’s donut and oh my goodness they were amazing! The restaurant has a brilliant choice of board and card games that kept us occupied and they even had a separate console gaming area with play stations and TVs set up. Menu prices were very reasonable especially as the quality of food was far superior to other well known chain restaurants. We can not wait to come back and try some other delicious treats from the menu. All in all we had fabulous food, great service and a fab experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and wish them every success in the future 🍩🍩🍩🍩

I was looking for a place that specifically offers donut delivery as I wanted to order a surprise treat for a friend who has a sweet tooth for donuts, and Daddy Donuts was a perfect find. I was trying to keep the delivery a surprise, but it was hard to figure out my friend's class schedule so I must have changed the delivery time/ day 3 or 4 times. The representative I was emailing with Karl was always responsive, delivered late to work around her availability, and gave me tips to pass to her on how to keep the donuts freshest. She loved the donuts, delicious!

I did review this place a couple of days ago and was quite scathing of it, I think I was too harsh, so I have removed it and am now writing this one. I complained about the noise and rowdy children, which were standing on the chairs and on the tables barefoot, but that wasn't Daddys Doughnuts fault, the parents should have kept the children from doing it, but there was a children's party going on and I guess the kids were excited. I also complained that the table was very dirty, which it was, but have since found out that they were short staffed, in fact I think there might have only been one person there, and he was taking orders-cleaning-serving & cooking, so again I was a bit harsh, if you're on your own you can't do everything, especially if there's a children's party happening, and the place was fairly busy. Again I moaned about my burger, which looked nothing like the picture, but I was comparing a picture of the double burger against a standard one, so again a bit unfair, but I would add that I think even the standard burger should have lettuce & tomato. What was a fair review was the fact that almost no chilli on the "Dirty Fries" and no Jalapenos, the owner has apologised and said it was just a mistake as he was so busy. I accept that was the case and that's one of the reasons for the new review. In the previous review I also mentioned I couldn't understand the layout of the place it's very haphazard and I was unsure where to go, the place is like a maze, but I gather things are in the process of being reorganised. Hopefully this is a more balanced review, and with a full complement of staff and the reorganising, Daddys Doughnuts should be a much better place! I will go again & anticipate leaving a much more positive review!

We visited today with my family and had a lovely visit. We all had hot food which was fantastic for the price. I had the Donut Burger (don't knock it until you've tried it) and it was sooo good! The board games made the waiting time go so quickly, and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Daddy donut is also really welcoming everytime we go in there. Thanks again for another great visit!

Absolutely loved our visit today. We popped in for a donut with our daughters, it wasn’t very busy and in all fairness to some of the other less positive reviews I was also a little bit confused that there were no donuts and just a lot of chocolate bars in the cabinet but- they’re made to order, with whatever topping you want. The owner was also friendly and very helpful. Whilst it wasn’t exactly the kind of place I was expecting, i liked it, it’s quirky and different and I also liked having my tea in an old chocolate themed mug. I’ll be going back to try more flavours, and checking out the other shop too.

Browsing on Trip Advisor I came across Daddy Donuts and knew my son would love them. I was staying in the area with my mum and so we called into Stalham before driving onto Norwich. The donuts were made fresh to order and you could choose your own topping. We ordered four to takeaway, tow Biscoff, one Turkish Delight and one Kinder Bueno. We didn’t eat them until the next day, and they were delicious. In a way, I’m sort of grateful we live outside the NR postcode delivery area as I think I might be spending a little too often in there 😄

have tried to visit this shop 2 times to buy doughnuts and on each occasion they have been closed even though there opening times are showing they should be open . very disappointed after traveling 5 miles to buy them only to return home empty handed

Wow these doughnuts were spectacular! I received this as an alternative birthday cake and they were fantastic. Great flavours with generous toppings and we all commented on how light the doughnuts were and non-greasy. Thanks for the excellent service!

I wanted to send my hubby to be something to his work place. I thought he probably wouldnt appreciate flowers like I do so I thought about sending food. You know what they say about men's hearts through their bellys! I thought donuts would be cool for his coffee break so I typed into Google donuts delivered in Norwich and up came daddy donuts. Their biggest package was 16 and a little extra for each one after but I asked for their best price and they came back with such a reasonable one. It was cheaper than flowers too! Delivery is free (always a bonus). I asked then if they could deliver it by 10ish for my partners break which they did promptly. They attached a card with my message for free. The donuts let me tell you was a massive hit with all the lads and the ladies in reception. He was so chuffed and really impressed with them, telling me all the different ones they recieved and how they are the best donuts he'd ever had. His work mates said the same. He ate three! Lucky for me he brought me a gold bar one back. Omgeeee I'm gonna be back! I only wish I'd of booked you for our wedding in August!

Reserved a table for 4, had such a warm welcome, the guy knew who I was just from messaging him on fb to book the table. The entrance and rooms are so homely looking you can't help but feel comfortable. The guy was really helpful with all our questions. The food and drinks were all delicious and well presented. I personally was very excited to see things on the menu that no other cafes offer, such as a crisp sandwich! My signature sandwich! They even do pot noodles and pot noodle sandwich/toasties. The rest of our party got bacon/sausage baps, all approved and loved that the baps were toasted too. And the donuts were very fresh, made to order and just delicious. To add to the place you can help yourself to board games, crafts, Xbox/ps4. Absolute brilliant place.

As a small school, we decided to celebrate National Donut day on Friday 7 June. After a google search we were fortunate to find Daddy Donuts. The service was brilliant, cost was reasonable and our young people thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the signature range of donuts. We even received an email asking if everything was ok. Ok so we turned up on a bank holiday Monday, door was open and sign said open...... It was not open for business and I really wouldn't eat from there anyway! Not good

We made a special journey to take my daughter here as a treat as we're in Norfolk for a few days close to her birthday.

Me and my children love this place come here in once a week for either a donut or a milkshake the milkshakes are amazing the nutella one is my favourite and the biscoff is my oldest daughters the play in the soft play area and also on the console in there I also brought my baby who is 12 weeks old to the baby group baby sprogs and that is a lovely group well done daddy donuts keep up the great work

Popped in one lunch time, party of eight. No where to sit as people hanging around and playing games. Asked to see a menu and was just show a cabinet containing chocolate bars to choose from as toppings. Children chose, adults were disappointed as we were hoping for sandwiches and coffee but nothing in display cabinets or a menu to show what’s on offer. Strange place all in all

We popped into daddy’s doughnuts to give them a try and wow they were amazing, freshly made there on the spot ! You can choose your toppings. While we waited my children played on the games they had available , we took our doughnuts away and couldn’t wait to eat them. We had a orange dime bar,mand m, smartie and Milky Way , the doughnuts taste so good, they are soft and gooey and taste amazing we could of eaten more. They are reasonably priced and the premises have a lot to offer too. We can’t wait to go back !! Thank you

I actually won a competition on Facebook for an afternoon tea for 2 at daddy donuts and omg they did not disappoint, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and drink and the donuts we even bought some extra to take home. Great value for money and will definitely be visiting again soon

Staff are awesome, food is great. Good place for people of all ages to enjoy. Afternoon tea was amazing, not the mention the donuts themselves are just unreal. worth travelling to if you're not local.

My girlfriend ordered me a box for Valentine’s Day that were delivered to my work. All my colleagues were drooling when I opened the box and saw these gorgeous donuts, but beauty is definitely on the inside as they tasted even better than they looked! The donuts were light and rich, with a nice cream filling and weren’t sickly even after two or three. All the toppings were delicious and made each donut unique. I will definitely be getting more.

We love Daddy Donuts and visit regularly, the Donuts are lovely but also love the sandwich bar and the freakshakes and today got to try out afternoon tea. The soft play is great for the younger ones and gaming area for older kids (and big kids!), my Daughter also loves the books and board games. Would highly recommend.

YOU MUST VISIT!! This is definitely one of the best donut shops I’ve been to! Got the warmest of welcomes when we arrived. My husband had ask if they did “afternoon teas” and they hadn’t started doing them yet but was more than happy to give it ago!! And OMG how lucky we was!! It was amazing! The donuts tasted divine the price is more than reasonable and the fact our little girl got to play and enjoy herself in a cafe for once really made it!

Do not believe the reviews, I made this mistake and visited with my partner. I don't know if it's gone downhill but inside it looked grubby, basic and generally past its sell by date. The manager stated they had no menu, and the doughnuts we did end up getting were nothing to rave about. My doughnut was served on a chipped plate and the coffee was also undrinkable and served in an old cup. A real disappointment, and I am very confused over the 5 star reviews as even a Tesco doughnut would of been better.

We aren't too local and have only been the once but if you like krispy kremes then be prepared to now think they are rather naff after being to Daddy Donuts. Always fresh, always amazing!

Me and 2 friends visited in November. The donuts were to die for and so i went on to order some to be delivered to my workplace in December and will be back for more. My only criticism is that it's a bit awkward knowing what is available with no clear menu. I kind of expected some donuts to already be made for us to pick some, or at least a clear display of what toppings are available. But it certainly didn't put us off.

Really friendly service and the kids enjoyed the soft play area. The donuts are super yummy and there is Lots of choice for flavours! Nice place to go to enjoy a treat and keep the kids amused too.

I was lucky enough to win some donuts and they were incredible. I will definitely be visiting the shop and recommend any young families or those who want a sweet treat to go!

Well what can I say except the donuts are simply out of this world. I won a competion offering a free box of donuts & found out the day before my birthday. Unexpectedly they were delivered on my birthday, best present ever! They are so different & so tasty I had to fight my friends for one lol.

I found that the marketing of their main product was poor. The experience felt awkward. Like picking a doughnut and working out where to sit. It would also would be better if you could see what your buying before you purchase. Perhaps put photos up of each type of doughnut or even have a menu.

Have visited the cafe a few times, always had a lovely experience. Saw that they posted a special offer on some signature donuts inc delivery so snapped them up with a few extras kids and our guests were very pleased! Us too! Thank you so much! 5*****

I would highly recommend these donuts. We have used them several times now and they have always been fresh and tasty. Instead of a birthday cake this year ,I ordered a selection of donuts and had them Delivered for my Husband. They were enjoyed by the kids and adults......

My 12 year old daughter and I made a special trip to Stalham today to check out Daddy donuts. It was well worth the trip as we lived our snickers and crunchie shakes.

Amazing place!! My husband, my 12 year old son and I all had mini freakshakes and we could choose what flavour milkshake and then what type of donut we had on top..all 3 were different but equally delicious. My 3 year old daughter wanted some cereal and sweets and they all came in separate bowls so she could make it her own which she loved. Highly recommend Daddy Donuts We will be back again and again

We visited Daddy Donuts on the 22nd of August as a special treat for my youngest, we had been before but only had donuts to take away so this time we chose to eat in and have a special super ‘Freak Shake’. We got to choose a milkshake flavour, a signature donut and a slice of cake and when it came out my 2 year old was amazed! Absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. We are looking forward to visiting again and also looking forward to eating the extra donuts we took home .

2nd time visiting with the kids, they loved it as much as the 1st, great service great donuts. Highly recommended

Myself and my daughter visited Daddy Donuts for the first time today both having a mini freak shake. We tried twix with malteser milkshake and caramel with caramel milkshake. They were absolutely gorgeous and well worth the money. A must visit if passing through or live near by

It's a dessert shop, over the top food, do exspect it to be yummy and sickly.

Only been a few times and both times service has been slow and I have found the food/treats rather sickly. Everything tastes a little too much. The prices are ok but in my opinion it’s a little too over hyped.

Been wanting to visit for a while after seeing photos and reviews on Facebook! It definitely didn’t disappoint it was amazing. Best donuts we have ever had and milkshakes were amazing aswel. Special summer holiday treat for the kids and they loved it too. It’s a 40 Min drive from where we live but we will most definitely be back. Great food and great service!

Pop in here everyday lol for a coffee and donuts. The best around. Great place to visit for donuts, cake, ice cream, even play Board games and have a go on a retro computer. A must visit

We are local and visited Daddy's Donuts via river after seeing all the great Facebook posts. We were actually really surprised walking in the music was so loud and felt we were putting the gentlemen out from being quiet without customers. I had to prompt him to understand what was on offer, with the music so loud it was hard to hear him and he went off to make them up, We decided to take ours away as felt the atmosphere uninviting. The donuts was tasty and nice. it's hard to get a mooring spot on the staithe and tricky getting out we won't be going for another visit. It's strange how different our visit was compared to the Fun Facebook page Daddys Donuts shows. Maybe they were having a off day or they have got their marketing right but is not portraying the same atmosphere when you are actually in the shop.

Come here very often with my little family and family friend. Always welcome, great food and just 10/10 service! Always making new shakes and donuts and will accept requests. A little hidden gem in the heart of Stalham.

I absolutely love it here, the signature donuts and waffle donuts are incredible. The staff are all really polite, it’s a perfect family friendly place.

I have visited Daddy Donuts quite a few times and thought was only fair to leave a review!! The donuts are amazing! Very fresh and the staff will include any topping you want,my fave is terrys choc orange!! I ordered 25 signature donuts to be delivered. They looked absolutely amazing and tasted fantastic. They went down a treat with my work colleagues. I'll definitely be ordering more.

What a lovely little place. Its like walking into someone's front room. Cosy and interesting. Games on the shelf for you to play while you have a coffee and a donut. I played a trivia game for 7 year olds... it was harder than you'd think. Very friendly staff. Will def go again and take my grandkids next time. We can play a game while I enjoy my coffee at leisure, instead of them rushing off to the next thing!!! Donuts really unique… choose your favourite sweetie topping.... I'm going to have Smarties next time. At £3 for a cake and coffee you can't go wrong!!! Loved it!

Such an amazing place, donuts, milkshakes, cake, yum yums, cereal or all of them If your eyes aren’t bigger than your belly then there’s some challenges for you to take on too friendly staff and good atmosphere in cosy shop (plus they can deliver locally too!) go satisfy your sweet tooth lol

I absolutely love the donuts from daddy donuts. I’m not a fan of chocolate donuts but these are something else. I tend to get them delivered but the downside to that is I end up having to share them with others. I highly recommend going here. They are more than worth the money you pay for them and also a great treat. There’s a lot of variety and it’s not just donuts they do. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I used to like Krispy Kreme donuts but never go there anymore

OMG .... AMAZING “ A must try” did a surprise 30th meal with 15 family and not one donut was left they loved them, was so nice to do something different in stead of cake every time Everyone loved them. Freshly ordered and delivered to my door no stress and came in lovely boxes thank you daddy donuts you are amazing I will 100% use these again ❤️ Happy donuting

My friend recommended trying this café out and I couldn't believe how well set up they were. Fresh home-made donuts, Milkshakes to die for, welcoming service and a nice, chilled out environment to chat. Spaces in the back with a TV to watch (Good idea for watching the World Cup). Starting from a home delivery service, this couple have a great vision for their business; adding more seating space so watch this space. The café is lovely and clean, service is relaxed and friendly. The food ideas are so different i.e. Donut Waffles, Ice cream boxes, Coke Floats. Everything is presented really well and I can't wait to go again. Almost can't believe I am the first person to review. I am sure many positive reviews will follow. Great for chats with friends, relaxing break, families and children too,
