What a great place. Warm and welcoming staff, a fabulous conversion of a historic barn in a beautiful setting and a simply great breakfast.

Such a lovely spot, we came here for breakfast at 11, and although we hadn't booked a table we were able to get seated (next time I will certainly be booking, as I think does get busy). The man that showed us to our table was so warm and welcoming as was the lady who took our order. I got a strawberry milkshake with a vegetarian breakfast and my partner got the full English with a mocha. Both were incredible and extremely well priced given the prices of other establishments in North Norfolk. The atmosphere was also very nice, the building has been restored beautifully and the priory is just outside to walk around once you have finished your meal. I will certainly be coming again!

It was probably the last day of nice weather so we thought it would be nice to have lunch outside. "No", the waitress said "You can have cake and coffee outside but nothing hot." Which was slightly strange, and we didn't see any signs to say we couldn't eat our meal outside. We sat down and she came and took our order of two coffees then started to walk away. "Can we order, please?", I asked. " We don't take orders until 12" she replied. The time was 11:58! Rather petty methinks. Now the food was good and the premises were nice, but there was something about the place that wasn't. By the way, I do not recall anywhere else ever charging me an extra 45p for decaffeinated coffee.

The Parlour at Binham is a wonderful place to eat. The staff are a delight & the food provided by Chef Lewis couldn’t be better. I am vegan due to health issues & to find somewhere which provides such excellent food is a joy. Jackie looked after us very well, checking on the suitable dishes for me. It’s a class act, well done everyone. Thanks for an excellent place to eat.

Read about The Parlour in a local “Foodie” magazine. My wife and I aim to try as many as possible. We arrived having not booked, it was full, but a small table for two was available, we accepted it. Looking round the building it is an old brick built barn beautifully restored, tasteful and had a very nice feel. The menus arrived and clearly a lot of thought had gone into it. I opted for a king prawn lightly toasted baguette my wife who is not a big eater chose mozzarella and mixed tomato salad with pesto dressing. Both meals were excellent. Looking round at other diners it was clear everyone was enjoying their food. Full marks to the owners and staff for creating something just that little different.

Been here before as we go to Norfolk quite a bit. This little out of the way place is growing better each time we go up there. on our last visit the food had gone up another notch and is really good. The chef is great and will let you know anything about the dish if you're interested. We've watched the barn grown too from a little forgotten to a really lovely space. I would recommend anybody to go along and try it. The whole site is lovely too.

We had booked a table but on-arrival had to wait a considerable time to be seated and then even longer for our order to be taken, then a further forty five mins for food to arrive, which unfortunately was nothing special. It is a lovely setting, with really pleasant staff but sorry to say did not meet expectations.

Visited on 5th July, although the breakfast we had (one full English and one mushrooms on toast) was very good the service was extremely slow. It took a long time to attract anyone's attention to take the order. When eventually we did attract someone's attention we were told we could only order drinks but no food yet because their oven wasn't big enough to cope with the demand. By the time the food was ordered and arrived the pot of tea we had initially ordered was finished. Although it was a nice breakfast in a lovely setting if you are going there it will be a long and hopefully leisurely occasion.

Fabulous food and dog friendly, too. What a lovely location, overlooking the Priory one way, or the cow barn another. Ideal to tie in a visit with Hindringham Hall gardens nearby. We had Harissa Lamb and Pork Chop from Specials menu as mains, every bite full of flavour. Reasonably priced, too. We booked for our next visit, most tables were reserved as we arrived.

We've been here several times now and it's never let us down. Having tried most of the breakfasts, we've now settled permanently on the Mushrooms on Sourdough Toast which are absolutely delicious. The staff are pleasant and helpful with our wheelchair requirements, and access through the shop is excellent. It's lovely to look out of the window at the cows. It's very dog friendly - we are not keen on dogs but usually they are very well behaved so not a problem, particularly as the tables are well spaced. Even on a chilly Sunday morning in February The Parlour was pretty full, so it's good to telephone and book in advance.

We love this place and we keep coming back with friends and family from down south. Friendly staff and a varied menu to suit all tastes. Recently we brought our grandkids to lunch there. I had a Thai style crab cake. Very tasty but slightly on the small side. Our grandson had Eggs Royal which was well prepared and our grand daughter had the Bubble & Squeak which included two small sausages, some greens and brown sauce. She enjoyed it very much and commented that it could have come with another sausage for a main course. I discovered later that the cost of the dish was quite on the larger side😬 Anyway, highly recommended also for the cosy barn it is, the Dairy Shop and Binham Priory just adjacent to The Parlour.

Not cheap but nice ambience and food. I do object, however, to the card machine presenting me with default 10%, 20%, other or no tip options when the member of staff is holding the machine. We arrived just before midday, and the greeting was at best lukewarm. Having been told we could only have our table for an hour (it was reserved from 1pm), we had to wait while staff had a long chat before someone came to take our order. I had a sandwich on brown bread: the slices were very, very thick, and the filling was a long way short of reaching the crusts, the whole thing was about 70% bread, which is fine if that's what you like. My cold drink was presented in a small tumbler - I wondered where the rest of it was, because it certainly didn't appear to be a full serving. A very loud noise regularly punctuated our visit, it sounded like someone was drilling, but apparently was the sound made by their milk shake machine. I thought anyone using the machine should be wearing ear defenders, it really was that loud. This was my first visit, having been told that they did excellent breakfasts. Unfortunately my experience did not reach that standard, and I'll be unlikely to return, primarily because of the awful noise, but also because I was not impressed by the food.

The barn conversion to a cafe has been beautifully done, lovely views over the fields and Binham Abbey. I booked a table so we were seated promptly. It is very popular so the noise levels were horrendous due to the high ceilings, the decibel level as we arrived was something else!! We found a quieter corner and were served promptly. I was rather disappointed with my pancakes, they were lukewarm and I think had been bought in, not made on the premises. The maple syrup was rather thin, as if it had been watered down but I didn't feel it needed to be returned to the kitchen in fairness. Next time I might just stick to a coffee and a scone; prices are fairly high but on a par with most of the cafes in this area now.

Lovely breakfast. Had the jetty breakfast and this was very filling. The food was good quality and not greasy. Service was good and very friendly.

Just ordered from Drifters for delivery to a remote holiday barn in South Creake, had doubts they would find us but food arrived ahead of time quoted and piping hot. Food was lovely and plenty of it. Thank you

Very good! Popped in for a takeaway snack at lunchtime. Staff were friendly, food was very good, chips weren’t greasy, fish was a good size, battered sausage was well cooked & flavourful. All the food was very hot when served! Price was reasonable for adult meal & kids meal.

3rd time I've been here and it definitely does not disappoint! Very warm and attentive staff, lovely buzzy and cosy decor and feel. Interesting menu and seafood seems to be their forte. Had the platter this time which was delicious but also a huge portion/great value for money. Could have shared it. Had the mussels last time which were awesome and fish cakes time before which also great.

We ordered a selection of savoury food for 17 people for a family celebration. Sam was very helpful and gave us a lovely choice of food from which to choose. The food was beautifully presented and we all agreed that it was delicious. Don't hesitate to use their outside catering services.
