Been coming here for years but now has new owners. I wish them well but it’s been modernised and has lost its old seaside charm. Fewer seats inside for cooler days, no displays of quick food to eat. For me it’s just lost its appeal. I’m sad.

Great location. Service was ok. What we ate (crab sandwich) was a premium price (justified by the view) but not a spot on the quality available elsewhere in town. Perhaps pick something else from the menu. Big white bloomer (no choice) where the bread was more a feature than the crab.

We love our breakfast at the Lifeboat- always beautifully cooked and such a stunning location. However, this week the owner really helped us. My 92 year old Father in law dropped his wallet on the pavement with no contact details inside. It contained his holiday spending money. The next day as I walked by the cafe Jason the proprietor asked me if I had lost something- he had found a wallet and was concerned. He had obviously thought carefully to whom it could belong. It made our day to return it to Dad. Thank you so much !

Been coming here for years, the finest breakfast, most certainly in Cromer, virtually on the beach, What a location on a sunny day, we have been so fortunate with the weather and have never found it necessary to sit indoors, Keep up the good work Jason, Don`t change anything please ! Dealing with the general public you are always going to find the odd disgruntled customer however hard you try, fortunately they are few and far between, we appreciate what you do.

RUDE very rude one man in particular that works here. I was on a lively family day out in cromer, we found a table outside and I settled my mum and grandson in. My mum is diabetic and poorly and needs to eat or sit when ever she needs too . I got my mum a sandwich for quick eating , I proceeded to go in to order a round of coffees and we all wanted cake or some thing sweet . I was rudely spoken to when I entered the shop . I quote , you can't sit there without ordering and eat that food . I am about to order. That why I am here I quote , what a couple of drinks . How very rude , I left without spending our cash there You would think with this country how it is ,that you would welcome all customers . He had no idea how much I was going to spend as he didn't even wait for me to order or speak even . Customer service course I think maybe. We got our treats from a lovely little Cafe opposite the kings Head pub

Food well presented, hot and not too long to wait. My friend had the conventional breakfast and I had the veggie version. Coffee not so good... Friendly staff, although I don't think it's waiter service - you have to go up to the desk and order. If this is the case it's not obvious. Cash only when we went.

Had a visit on two occasions when a female member of staff has been so rude to our family who have paid for food and drink in this establishment. I know theres new practises in place for covid-19, but seriously your staff need some training in how to talk to people. It's not the first time some of my visitors have had this experience here and I'm not one for commenting normally but having seen it for myself today I'm shocked and disappointed that such attitudes come from a business. We always tip normally and are nothing but polite in our conversations with people but it just seemed to be constant bad attitudes from some staff members here. Needless to say myself and my visitors will be visiting other more professional outlets in cromer from now on. Which is a shame. A smile and a nice positive attitude goes along way in such hard times for business. You could learn alot from some other outlets in your area.

Bit too cold to sit outside but the views out onto the beach are still good. Watching the tractors tow the fishing boats onto the beach kept our kids entertained. Breakfasts were a good size for a reasonable price, bacon just right - a touch of crispiness without being burnt - fried bread not too greasy, fried eggs with a runny enough yolk for dipping. We stopped here for Sunday lunch on the walk from Sheringham back to Cromer after Sunday morning church at Life Church in Sheringham. Conveniently situated just a few minutes from the coast path. Although we had not booked they were able to accommodate us in the garden. Food was excellent and seemed good value.

The food was very good well cooked and presented, we had to wait for a while before our order was placed, however it's a busy local pub which caters for holiday makers also so this could have been the reason for the wait. Cheerful and pleasant staff, I would certainly eat there again.

WOW …What a find … great food choices . But just needed a coffee and coffee cake before going to the beach. Lovely friendly staff …Fantastic to know they have staff with learning difficulties who were so polite friendly and even gave my dog a treat . It will be my regular from now on . Many thanks

Been here before as we are fairly local and it was good. But this time terrible and very expensive we had roast pork with apple sauce, stuffing and crackling. Meat was mostly really Fatty and baguette was filled mostly with stuffing best bit was the crackling. At £8 each I expect far better just ripping off the holiday makers. Don’t think we will be going again. It was barely warm so back to the pie man at sheringham for us.
