Two bars, one has the pool table which is to the right of the entrance. left bar has a large area with the dance floor & a door to the snooker hall. very cheap drinks, with meals. Outside seating area also & a bar in the summer under a marque

Used to regularly use the Tyneside club on our annual weekend pilgrimages to Sheringham between about 2010 to 2018 Called in yesterday during a day trip to the seaside. Again, a truly wonderful experience! Megan behind the bar made my wife and I really, really, welcome and couldn't do enough to sort out my taste for a golden real ale and a cuppa for the missus. We felt truly appreciated. The ale was in excellent condition and at £3-50 a pint is about half the price you would pay in some of the better known Sheringham hostelries. The whole club was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It now also has an extensive array of outdoor tables with umbrellas where one can sit, sup, and watch the world go by gazing across at the steam railway . Would fully recommend this establishment, and it is also extremely handy for catching the train back to Norwich being just a two minute walk away from the main station.

Saw the Shantymen there. Very entertaining. Good bar.

Myself and a friend joined on a Holiday membership costing just £3.50 each We were in Sheringham 4 nights and ate at the club 3/4 nights exelant food cooked by Alison,Megan behind the bar extremly polite as were all the staff. The food was of restaurant standard

Rude and arrogant. I will never visit this place again after the bar staff and management were unnecessarily abrupt and awful to us. Not very nice people at all. Avoid.

We come to this place because it is a very good place to come . The food is good and well presented the drinks are reasonably priced the staff are friendly and they have a bit of entertainment midweek and at weekends . Thank you to all of you at the tyneside we had a great 2weeks even with all the rain

This is a friendly club which welcomes guests via a day membership of £1. Food on Thurs-Fri-Sat and entertainment at weekends. Really good value beers, ciders etc. and a good range on offer. Recommended.

Sat having a nice drink across the road at The Gangway, 100m away, only to have it completely ruined by the terribly loud and awful Elvis impersonator coming from this trashy place! It was so loud, we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. This place completely ruins this end of the high street!

Thank your lucky stars, a pub that sells beer! Paid a daily membership and still around £2.00 cheaper a pint than the rip off Lobster newly ruined by Stonegate!

Very nice staff food drinks and environment but the cutlery glasses and plates are very poor and dirty the picture is a replaced glass straight out the dish washer but on the other hand the drinks and food is a really good price we got 5 drinks and it was 7.50£

We had an enjoyable day watching the Potty Dancers and having a quiet drink.

Been here once before as a couple. This time six of us old lads in our 40s & 50s staying at the YHA for the weekend. Been in Saturday and Sunday hosing back the cheap beer and none of us are members lol! Nobody asked us despite the fact we were clearly on us hols. Last time last year I was with the missus and she told the bar staff we were not members and we paid for the day. But we were not the only ones as the YHA all talk about cheap drinks at the Tyneside and not having to join! We weren't even asked. Anyway, cheap drinks, bit busy at around 5.30pm on Saturday and some bloke setting up for music later. This time it seemed it was all people like us on holiday and no locals. And if we are all boozing for free I would hate to think what a member thinks! Keep up the good no checking membership lol.

Came down for a quiet drink with my parents (who are members) when we visited between Christmas & NY 2022. Great atmosphere, lovely bar staff. Had a great couple of hours having a few beers and playing cards. Hopefully see you again in the future.

We were thirsty and thought this was bar! No it's a CIU affiliated club for 50p a person you get a cheap pint in Nice surroundings for 24 hours. I believe they do food as well but we did not avail ourselves of this service.

Went for a wake...the buffet was excellent with friendly staff.

Popped in using a one day guest membership just for a few drinks one early evening and sat outside. Drinks are fab with real ale list that is good too. Really good local pricing and seems reflected in the fact it seemed to have locals as regulars. Will definitely return when we come again.

I think the recent reviewer got the rubbish television show wrong, it is Pointless that is on the main bar's set, that anyone wanting a quiet drink has to put up with. We agree, a social club should serve all members, not just a couple who could watch the rubbish at home and staff who should know better. Shame, as it serves the community well in all other respects.

Cannot believe this! Who, in their right minds, would want to go out for a drink or meal, and have to endure Catch Phrase on TV in the pub?! Well, you guessed it, in this place that's entertainment! And it seems just for a few, who are clearly local, who GO OUT to watch this garbage! Well, if you are a social club, this is as anti-social and what gets us all, who dare to venture in, is the bar is empty BECAUSE of the usual suspects watching this dross, when they should and could stay at home! You have put your prices up, again (you did this a few months back) and if you actually turned the stupid TV off, and stopped silly game shows ruining normal peoples escape for a few drinks and maybe even a meal, then you would get more members, and you would not have to increase prices! For God's sake, turn the blasted TV off if all you put on is game shows! Next you will have the same people in their watching Coronation Street! If you want to watch Catch Phrase, stay at home, and give us all a break! Nonsense!!!

Cheap membership = cheap drinks. Free sport on big TV, free entertainment, friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

This little club is an absolute gem. I only popped in for a quick pint on my way to Tesco next door. When I told my friends who I was holidaying with, they too signed up. The club became a meeting place at the start of the evening and lots of late night finishing place. If you go to Sheringham, sign up and support places like these as they are dying out!!

Came as a tourist to Sheringham and wanted to watch the Euro2020 final. Went in the day before and became a member. I have to admit that I was a bit nervy as I didn't know what it would be like... couldn't have been better (apart from the result!)... really lovely members and staff. Cheap prices too! If you're staying in Sheringham and want to watch the football or sport, you'll be hard pressed to find somewhere better!

Working mens club with a very warm welcome (you have to join) and good service with very affordable beer prices. We popped in to watch footie as other pubs were fully booked and they made us very welcome.

The tyneside is a friendly place to go to. Serves is excellent from the staff.

Have been going to this club for 60 years or more was always welcoming and always friendly. Used to pay 50p for temporary membership now they want £5each . Only went for the day on bank holiday and would have cost £15 before we even had food and drink not worth it for the day. Such a shame as my family have always loved this club.

Not a member... then bog off! Was in Sheringham yesterday and overheard a very interesting conversation from a larger lady that worked here and was also a 'committee member' here, talking very loudly. She was very annoyed by all of the tourists here that were bringing all the germs and diseases into Sheringham that kept walking into the club who weren't members, so she just told them all to "bog off".... the charming lady then walked off into town with her Sunflower lanyard on and into the shops with no facemask on....Oh the irony! this did make me chuckle!

Very reasonble priced drinks & free parking if you're a member.

Steward unhelpful, someone called him Dale we think,walked past several times as we waited to be served. Off day, put us off we left. Where did you get him from. Service gone downhill.

Went with friends to the Tyneside for Sunday lunch, we all had Sunday roast and it was brilliant.I had the beef and it just melted in your mouth,I had seven veg and it was all fresh veg and not frozen. It was really good value and the food you got was brilliant,though I would not finish it,but I did.The staff are very and work hard,we was served by Tina and she was very friendly and helpful and melted asking if everything was OK.Please try when you go to sheringham and I would book.

Went on a Saturday night it was really busy. Tables were all full. Live music was ok and there is a place to dance. It is a members only club and an older age bracket there. They serve food and cold drinks spirits and pop. We stayed until it closed and it never really died down. With the membership you get cheaper drinks than at the other pubs in Sheringham as well. Cab company was right next door too if you need that. Parking was free across the street as we got there later in the night.

Once again I was treated to a meal by my Brother .Dee's Diner provides probably the most wholesome food in all of Sheringham. Eating at The Tyneside club is enhanced by the extremely friendly atmosphere.The lady waitress is the epitome of warmth and friendlyness. The Menu is varied and suits all appetites. The food arrives within a short time well cooked and presented.I defy anyone to come away without a smile of contentment.

Had a lovely sunday roast at the tyneside , the staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us and the price for the amount of food you get is brilliant .
