Norfolks's Pie Man in North Norfolk

Popped in for a late lunch. Had a lovely meal - piping hot and tasty. Great range of food in the menu and very reasonably priced. Lovely staff - smiley and friendly

The home made pies were delicious The mash and mushy peas likewise although portion size a little too big Great treat whilst enjoying the steam railway

The Ultimate breakfast is to die for, it's so delicious there's nothing left on my plate, the staff look after you and go that extra mile and provide everything for you, the breakfast is better than where I had a breakfast the last time I will always be coming back here for my breakfast when I want to treat myself and my family, thank you to the staff it's 💯 per cent yummy 😋👍🥂. Popped in here for a late lunch and really glad I did. Good value and the steak and ale pie was delicious. Coupled with a load of mash, mushy peas and gravy, I couldn't actually even finish it all.

Most bizarre experience ever. Various notices said orders would be taken at the table. We sat down and waited and waited and waited. Various staff were milling around and attending to other people but we thought maybe we were invisible. After more than 10 minutes another couple came in and got served within 2 minutes. We walked out. Still no-one seemed to notice. We went to the Robin Hood where we were greatly relieved that we were in fact visible there, and we had a wonderful lunch there.

Having walked past many times, we decided to visit as they were advertising Liver & Bacon on an outside board. The service was friendly, the food & portion size excellent & the prices good. We now have another good reason to visit Sheringham.

Excellent every time I visit. I always make the trip to Sheringham when I'm in Norfolk just to come here.

Found this to be still serving when most places weren't - on a busy hot August afternoon! Hubby had a ploughmans and I had a jacket potato salad with prawns. Very delicious and lovely staff and service. Many thanks to you all.

We always go here as either a family or couple. It is good value for money and delicious especially the pies. The fry ups are also big and tasty. The hog roast roll is a generous size and tasty. If you are in Sheringham you should visit the pieman!

Great food with friendly smiley staff. Huge range of dishes from bacon rolls to lunchtime favourites. Pie and mash, sausage and mash, fish and chips and so many other choices. Everything well presented and always delicious. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Drove 30 miles for pie and mash. unfortunately when ordering the waitress informed me they had run out of mince beef pies as it was pie and mash day…. This was at 1.15 pm.

The pies from here are great :) I especially love the beef chilli and the cheese and onion slice. The hog roast baguettes are also delicious. Friendly staff. The food is always good. The place has a vibrant and friendly atmosphere :) would highly recommend :)

Visited the PIE SHOP today, ordered the Pie & Mash, my wife had a Cornish Pastie. Having grown up in London, regularly enjoying a meal of traditional Pie & Mash I can affirm that the meal i enjoyed was as good maybe even better than those of yesteryear. Brilliant full bodied meat pies made from locally sourced ingredients ( the owner is a retired butcher). The staff were very attentive, and cheery Value for money 10/10 Thoroughly recommend this cafe

The English breakfast was OK and fairly priced. Tables nice and clean. Waited quite a while (20 mins) for the breakfast. Bacon good and egg nicely cooked but sausages dreadful. However if I had visited toilets before ordering I would not have stayed. Not the cleanest.

Visited Sherringham recently and bought a couple of pies for my dinner that evening after a 5 hour journey home. I am so annoyed with myself for not buying more for the freezer. Gorgeous buttery pastry and plenty of tender steak. Best pies ever. Highly recommended but don't go back home without pies for the freezer too, you will kick yourself I can guarantee it if you do!

Been here many times and always a good service. Unfortunately Saturday 22 October was the opposite. Sat down in the back with my family and our dog, looked through the menue, no one came to take our order so went to the counter, told someone would come out and see to us. Waited about 15 minutes, nothing. Called politeyto a young waiter passing through and asked if we could be served, just a couple of secs he said and I'll be with you. Sat waiting for another 10/15 minutes no one came to take our order. Got fed up with waiting so we all got up and went elsewhere. They must have been having a bad day but I would of thought that the time we sat there someone would have come over and apologisded or something.

Despite it's name this restaurant offers a wide choice of food. My wife had a jacket potato with salad and I had homemade cottage pie. Both meals were excellent and service was friendly and efficient. Nice clean restaurant, would definitely visit again.
