Recently, we had the pleasure of providing software licensing for Tipsy Teapot Restaurant online. Out of curiosity, I checked out their website and was very impressed with their unique dining experience and the fantastic and engaging reviews.
As a software service provider at Synology, I love admiring service leaders in various industries, such as Tipsy Teapot’s excellent service in restaurants. One day, I will travel there with my family from Taiwan to experience their warm hospitality! ! !
First time visiting this pub after having recently moved to the village. We hadn't booked a table for food and it was a busy Friday night. They managed to fit us in luckily because the food was delicious. I had the gammon which came with the most perfectly cooked mushrooms, egg, fries and salad garnish. The other 3 had the specials which were amazing. Thank you for accommodating the 4 of us. We will be back
My wife and I stayed in a local pub where the food was nothing great and overpriced. We decided to try the chippy on our second night. Best chippy dinner we had eaten in years. No frills top fish and chips. Not the healthiest of menus, but a rare treat nevertheless. To paraphrase McArthur, ‘We shall return!’
This was my first visit, and I was not disaapointed. The pub is lovely and traditional and the greeting was warm and inviting. We had booked for the 3pm second sitting for Sunday Lunch. The service was brilliant - great friendly staff, knowledgeable regarding the menu, and very efficient. Now the food...wow! Some nice choices for starters (my gochujany chicken with ginger and cabbage slaw was delicious) and the rack of pork was probably the best pub roast I've ever had - melt in the mouth meat, with all the trimmings...and no skimping on portion size! It was a struggle to choose dessert as we were all feeling full...rude not to, so we did anyway! We were there for a birthday, and the staff very kindly brought out icecream and sparkler when they found out and sang Happy Birthday.
We'll definitely be back!

We just loved this place, and had dinner there twice during our trip to the Suffolk coast. Perfect on a chilly evening, with a roaring fire and a wonderfully warm welcome. Excellent negroni and a well-curated wine list. The food was very good, particularly the venison casserole, beetroot salad, pea and ham soup and sausages. Super dog friendly too. Our pup was treated like a celebrity! We'll be back whenever we're in the area again.
Popped in for a quick espresso, but ended up having a burger,
I am so delightful that I did, because it was one of the best burgers I had.
I found out from the staff that they made the burgers themselves, it was juicy, but well cooked with a nice pickle flavour.
It was well balanced,
I'll take my family with me next time to see, if it is better than WENDY'S (my kids favourite one).
I went here for a takeaway.
Perhaps not the very best that I have had but certainly good enough for me to want to go back there.
Had Lamb Dansak and additional dishes and can definitely recommend.
Just popped in for quick pint, staff friendly and soon filled up with clients for food this was a monday so it looked good the lovely lady i was with who recommended this place said food good it follows worthy for me to mention
A lovely family run Italian restaurant, the food and service were both excellent on a visit for my adult sons birthday. Surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night, but service was fabulous and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend for an occasion or romantic meal.
This was such an enjoyable treat. Unfortunately they had sold out of most pastries except for croissants and a pecan brownie by the time I got there. We opted for hot chocolate: so rich and lovely, not too sweet, which I like. The croissants are perfectly light and flakey. I highly recommend this tucked away bakery. The Pump Street Chocolate Shop across the road is connected to the bakery and rovides the basis of the hot chocolate. This is certainly worth a return trip but get there early before everything is sold out (just, not before us).
Having enjoyed dining here on numerous occasions over the years, I had no hesitation in choosing The Three Horseshoes in Madingley, to host a lunch for 24 friends and family, to celebrate my 80th birthday. Thanks entirely to Rachel Kipping and her colleagues we had an amazing time! Our lunch was simply superb with plenty of choice to suit all tastes, backed up with super efficient table service. Overall, it was a most enjoyable and memorable occasion. Thank you Rachel and Team for your sterling efforts which are much appreciated!
