Best place to eat a steak! Actually, we never ate anything that wasn't to our liking, every time everything is perfect. Staff is really friendly, knowledgeable and polite. A pleasure to return. Thank you, Alexandru Stefan and Andreea , for our lovely dinner !

Had been there many times and today we went again. As always staff is fantastic, welcoming and food is one of the best! My ribeye is always cooked to perfection and the mussels , the tastiest. Thank you so much Alexandru Stefan and Andreea for making our evening a pleasant one! Will return soon.

This is a really nice venue The interior is beautiful. Soft lighting nice seating areas. Real olive trees internally. A wonderful, covered outdoor area . High spec very modern.

Zaza is one of my favourite restaurants, whether it’s a special occasion with family or a coffee and cake with a friend, their food and service never disappoint! The atmosphere is also fantastic. Highly recommended!

We came for a family meal to celebrate two birthdays. The food, service and quality all around was exceptional. Well done to everyone involved. It certainly helped to make a very special weekend for our family.

The manager at Zaza in Bushey seems to treat customers differently. We booked a table for 2 at 7 pm. When we arrived, there were plenty of empty tables, but we were seated at a very small table squeezed between others in a crowded area. We asked the manager to move us to a larger, quieter table, but he said all the larger tables were booked for 8 pm and were for more than 2 people. However, at 7:30 pm, two ladies were seated at one of these larger tables. Despite being told these tables were reserved for larger groups at 8 pm, we noticed that by the time we left at 8:30 pm, many of these tables remained empty. The manager was rude and lied that the tables are filled but he can see that they are empty!!!

Really lovely staff Starters were nice but the ravilo and the prawn dish had the same tomato sauce which was overly salty, unfortunately this completely put us off

What a lovely restaurant 😍 Been twice now and both times were fab. Sat in the bar area first visit and just inside by the conservatory area the second. Service attentive. Kept us well stocked on drinks. Food was excellent. We all were very happy with our choices but we all had food envy for what each other was eating! Well worth a visit.

Been here many times. Food is good and service is average. Went there last weekend with my wife and informed the staff that I was thinking of having my 70th birthday party there for 10 people in September. I asked if they could provide 1 parking spot as one of our members has difficulty in walking very far. I was told no even though staff park their cars within 2 meters of the back door.! It was very difficult to speak to anyone in charge and they didn’t seem to care if we booked or not. In the end I had to book somewhere else.

Good experience overall, first time visting this Zaza and will visit again.

Beetroot and goat cheese cake is the best

Today was horrendous. Booked for a birthday meal. An hour 15 mins wait from starter to main, calves liver was significantly overdone despite the order being pink, the prawn and salmon linguine lacked any prawns and salmon (a problem I had on my last visit) - just sauce, goats cheese salad lacked salad and the cheese was cold. Tuna steak had no sun dried tomatoes - when raised the waiter challenged this suggesting the cherry tomatoes were sun dried! The staff disputes the time we had waited and then said they were catering for a large party. Desserts arrived without spoons, near impossible to flag down a waiter/waitress to ask for some. I was in there for nearly 3 & half hours! It’s a shame, I’ve enjoyed going here for the past 10 years and the customer care has previously been excellent. This has dropped massively together with the standard of food. It’s put me right off!

Lovely restaurant, would recommend sitting in the conservatory part. Staff are friendly although gave up ordering dessert as I waited ages and in the end decided to order the bill. The food was really tasty. Everything was full of flavour. Will be returning.

I love the food and the service is super...waitresses are very attentive But the portion size has decreased. My pasta portion was not enough. I suppose the idea is that you have room for dessert....

I went there with my fiance, we had something very delightful and the service was perfect, amazing people and welcoming staff. They offered us their daily menu, also while they served us, they didn’t disturb us anymore until finished our food. This is what most restaurants should do, we were so pleased there. Can’t wait to go back❤️

After trying to get into Zaza and have a meal, I finally did, and it wasn't the best experience, the staff was friendly but very pushy, the food was okay, and the table we were sat at was very dirty so I wasn't impressed, especially since this place has the reputation of a fancy place.

We stumbled upon this place after our walk in the Bushey country park. The food is delicious! Lovely garden at the back which unfortunately wasn't open when we were there. The place was full. Highly recommend.

Service could have been more helpful

I had the opportunity to dine at this Italian restaurant and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The Italian cuisine is absolutely delicious, with each dish prepared using fresh and authentic ingredients. The atmosphere and service are perfect, with the staff being friendly and attentive to details. The setting, with olive trees around, is very pleasant and adds a special charm to the place. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy an unforgettable Italian dinner in a delightful setting.

The food was good, not great. I liked the fish on a bed of cous cous but I tried the salmon with baked potatoes which was very bland. It's quite expensive but in a decent area with easy parking. Service was slow as I felt I had to grab the attention of the servers too often. The desserts were very good and so was the garlic and cheese bread

The food and service was exceptional and as always, the atmosphere were welcoming and friendly and the restaurant was full of happy vibes. The staff are so helpful and attentive and my family all had a wonderful evening. I look forward to returning.

We visited Zaza Bushey last night for my birthday meal and had a lovely time. We were served by Samir who was attentive and added extra touches to make my birthday special. The food was great, special mention for the start special prawns in a nduja white wine creamy sauce which were incredible!

Consistently good , plenty of atmosphere

Went in to have a meal without a reservation. Advised they have no tables when half the place was empty. Oddly was able to book a table on the website when I left the restaurant for 10 mins time. Was I stupid enough to return? No. Will I ever return? No. Will i spread the word about this nonsense service? Hell yeah! Well done zaza, you have the best staff

My friend and I enjoyed our lunch at Zaza Bushey from the very reasonably priced two-course set menu. The staff were very kind and opened the garden area specially for us (after it had been closed for bad weather) so that my dog could join us after a walk in the fields - which we really appreciated. They also kindly brought my dog water and the service all round was great. The garden area is a real gem on a sunny day - but the conservatory and interior proper are also lovely. The food is unpretentious tasty Italian, with generous portions and something for everyone on the menu. I live locally, so this was not my first trip to Zaza Bushey - on every occasion, the experience has been excellent. Always fabulous service, always a lovely place to sit and chat, and always nice food & drink.

Food is excellent, the service is not very good, you are just left, & you have to try and get the Waiters attention we were left for 15 minutes before asking what we wanted to drink. It's all male servers, no woman waitresses perhaps they need to look at that. Also poor Rose wine on menu only 2 & yet 10 White Wine. Won't go again on a Saturday early evening again. Zaza Bushey

Great overall dining experience. Though thought for a Wednesday night felt like we were a little bit rushed through our meal to turn over the table. Food was great. Drink was great. Really happy G&Ts were served as they are meant to as suggested by the distillery. We'll be back.

A tastefully decorated and modern-style informal Italian restaurant, this is a great choice for lunch on the Bushey high street. The Mezzaluna Croccante and Trofie Amatriciana are the dishes I tried, and they were wonderfully delicious.

Recently moved to a nearby area and discovered this restaurant. Great service and great food each time we’ve been. The only thing I’d say is allow time as can be a bit slow - not enough staff by the looks of it. I haven’t deducted a star though as the quality of the food is way better than any other italian we’ve tried within a half an hour radius

Ruined 21st birthday. Just bought out birthday cake without informing guests/ parents, so no one at table prepared and no cameras ready.. also were intimated to leave as next guests were standing by table making comments to staff that they should have tables as all their party were there even though we had table booked for another 15 minutes .

Booked at 12:30 At 12:30 called informing that I was going to be 5/10min max late due the the closure of the main road due to flooding (they knew that as all the locals have been affected by) This guy called Alex answer the phone. He recognise me as l'm a regular client!! I was as always very polite and his answer was: OK BUT NEED THE TABLE BACK SOON My answer was not to worry as I was going to be only 5 min just the time to park and again his comment was : I NEED THE TABLE BACK At that point l've told him... you know me it's only me my wife and my daughter... we always eat fast and I'm aware of the 2 hrs turn around policy as it is clearly stated on my booking confirmation l've told him, look I'm on my way. Again from this guy, no friendly comments not see you in a bit, just the 3rd I NEED THE TABLE BACK in 2 hrs. By then I was really annoyed and didn't want to go But as I was with my wife and 13 years old daughter I decided to go I've told him see you in a bit and you can have the table back as soon we finished but make sure your service its not going to be slow!!! We arrived there and as I was saying good morning to the staff at the door (as mentioned we are regulars) I've seen this Alex. Did t want to make fuss but the smirk on his face when he saw me I couldn't resist and asked him: What's your problem today???? He showed me to the table again with that smirk!! I was wating for his apologies instead again he was explaining that today the need tables etc etc I was very annoyed and the other staff noticed that!! We sat, order taken waited 40 min ( don't know why as only 1 table was eating and food not coming out) did t make a fuss and eat regularly Pointed out that many tables were late specially a table of 4 next to me, 2 guests arrived and 35 min were wating the other 2 guest that were late... guess what Alex??? When the other 2 arrived He rushed at the table to say hi to this guys (clearest he k ew them) And total different treatment than me politely calling to inform 5 min late... the waiter Gabriel that served us noticed that and I pointed out to him... look at Alex, didn't worry about the table back with them Shocking experience This guy ruined my family lunch.

This place never disappoints, great variety of food on the menu, service always with a smile and a greeting. Good cocktails, fresh crisp Peroni on tap, looking forward to experiencing the new garden area in the summer! Weekday lunch specials are great value too!

Lovely staff, service, food and setting

My husband wanted to surprise me on our date night,he's decided to drive 45min so I can enjoy some Italian food and see the lovely olive trees. It's a nice restaurant. Seating arrangements are a little bit tight and we had someone's back literally 10cm away from our table. Nice service, polite staff. Unfortunately for us the food was disappointing. 4 large mushrooms so overcooked we barely managed to get forks into them. Large piece of Pate next to 4 small pieces of bread. My lamb shank was chewy and quite hard. I am passionate about food and being part of the restaurant industry for a long time I must say I was very disappointed.

Food was fine and as expected. However there was a very abrupt end to the evening with the waiter giving us the bill whilst we were still on desserts…and making it very clear the restaurant was closing in 15 mins (10:30). The lights in the kitchen area then went off. All very embarrassing as we had brought friends to the restaurant… and on top of that abrupt end to the evening they still thought it appropriate to charge us 12.5% for service. This was embarrassing and whilst it was clear the restaurant was closing at 10:30 the way in which this was handled was so disappointing that a restaurant like this cannot handle the closure of an evening in the restaurant more elegantly.

We had average food with average service. The place looked pretty with all the Christmas decorations but it was very noisy, which spoils the evening. My food was edible but not enjoyable. The lamb shank was small and the mashed potatoes were tasteless. The zucchini frites were cold. The pate had minimal flavour and the choice of wine by the glass was disappointing. Service was speedy but impersonal. If you did not know, you would believe you were in one of the multiples that seem to be fading away, such as Prezzo or Cote. £80 per couple for 2 courses each and 1 glass of wine, did not represent great value.

Some friends came from abroad and we decided to bring them here for dinner. Didn’t let us down, enjoyed all dishes. Loved the goats cheese tart, the ravioli and finished off my meal with the crème brûlée which was fairly larger than expected compared to other places.

Went with my wife for dinner because I read very good reviews about it To be honest is a normal chain restaurant with nothing special food bland and a normal service ! Overall not bad
