Prezzo - Borehamwood in Hertsmere

We went to Prezzo Borehamwood on Tuesday 3rd November. We had a great evening in every way. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The covid procedures were very good. The food arrived promptly and was really tasty. The restaurant was very busy but we did not feel rushed and the staff were so efficient.

Perfect night outWent for a meal during the eat out promotions, too be honest I wasn’t expecting much as the restaurant was rammed on arrival, but I can honestly say the staff were very professional and attentive, food was very good and probably the best pint of Peroni I have had for a while,I will definitely be back.

Didn’t serve side order as such but as a starter then had to wait 25 minutes for main course. Explained was in a hurry so could we have desserts but had to wait another 20 minutes for 2 cold desserts to be served. Had to asked for bill 3 times. Restaurant was over busy, wasn’t lunchtime so not sure why the delays occurred.

We had a Prezzo dining experience purchased for us which we were excited about. We were going to use it, when we had the Covid shutdown. We could only find Borehamwood open. We were not disappointed. The meal was delicious, the service was excellent. We will come back.

popped in here for lunch before going to watch Arsenal ladies. Service was good and quick as they knew we were short on time. Food was great.

I had the sea bass (again) but the starters and other mains were all beautifully cooked and presented too. I have eaten at other branches of Prezzo & imagined the standard would be the same everywhere but this one in Borehamwood feels better than average. It never fails to please. The staff are efficient and pleasant, the decor is bright (I don’t like dark places where you can barely see your food) and the toilets are clean.

Pleasant welcoming and attentive staff without being intrusive. Food was piping hot and drinks were spot on. All in all a very pleasant dining experience. Thank you Enis & staff.

Had a meal there on a Saturday Night, it was quiet!! We thought we would get good service and good food. The food was tasteless and just not worth the cost. NEVER AGAIN!

We visit regularly and today the experience was as good as ever.I had a pasta meal and my wife had risotto, all accompanied by Peroni and coffees.Enis and his team are so professional, the service is first class and the chefs in the kitchen always present excellent food.If you haven't already visited Prezzo, Borehamwood you really must give it a try.There is also free parking for up to 3 hours in the large car park to the rear of Prezzo.

The location is good if staying in Borehamwood, we needed food and this looked the best of a bad bunch, we only had a main course of pasta, it was extremely processed and left a strong aftertaste would not go again but it provided food late in the evening, staff were pleasant.

Been here a few times recently . Food is delicious with a wide menu with lots of choice . Recommend the carbonara and the garlic bread with cheese and red onion chutney . Very tasty . Service with a smile and very reasonable . What more can you ask ! ?

Prezzo is one notch up from many Italian restaurants even though it’s a chain. Busy on a Saturday lunchtime with many of the guests dressed for Strictly. Quick food but tasty and good value.

We had booked in advance and were in a rush - the waiter explained that they were running behind and would try to serve us as quickly as possible.He managed to do that and we managed to have two courses pretty quickly - there was only one person in the kitchen, so between them they did a great job.Food was just ok - nothing special but then we didn’t expect fine dining.

Went for a booked family meal 5 adults 3 children, the service was appalling had to ask for everything including children’s menus when it was quite apparent that the 2 and 8 year olds wouldn’t be ordering from main menu. Took over 40 minutes before we had to ask for some drinks. Over an hour for our food order and the one of the starters was missing which they then charged twice for. Although the food is pleasant the experience is far from it. Will not be going there again and made sure we were not charged with a service charge being a party of over 7.

Me & my better half went out to try a new restaurant on a random Saturday on borehamwood high street. Pasha had just opened & we saw the menu & thought... yum! Then on arrival it was a disaster! After waiting for an hour & a half, we had not even received our starters... so obviously the next step was... EXIT!

The food was cold upon arrival, returned it and it came back not much better. Service OK, but a bit slow

Went here with the family for dinner it clean and tidy got seated straight away, got great service for the first and second courses then sat looking at empty plates for nearly half an hour as the female waiting staff just walked by not the best experience but the food is great its a shame the service isn't.

I took my nephew to hear for dinner, quite busy for a monday we had a good service the food arrived in good time it's even cheaper if you have a Meerkat app

We are regulars here and my wife wanted to go there today for her birthday meal.

Good was delicious The surroundings and decor created a lovely ambience Staff could not have been more attentive Highly recommended

Excellent experience after we booked elsewhere and were let down the day before our meal, Luli was fantastic in arranging a table for us with the staff on the night delivering great food from an excellent kitchen, we will be returning regularly going forward 🙂

Went her for a meal for two on a red letter day. Food was very good and well worth the money. Service was a little slow at the start but staff were friendly. Only thing we didn’t like was tables very close together, otherwise not a bad restaurant.

Although pleasant the staff here were incredibly dozy; bringing the wrong drinks order, the olives and starters at the same time.

I have visited other Prezzo branches before so thought this would be the same. The service was poor and the restaurant wasn't busy. To be fair to the waitress she was on her own for quite a while. The food was only average and we had to send a couple of side orders of fries back because they were cold when they were brought to the table.

Been to other branches of this chain before, therefore had good expectations. The branch was very quiet which wasn’t unexpected as it was midweek and warm outside. We asked for a particular table which was fine. We ordered quickly and the food and drink was delivered quickly. Got service with a smile as well. Will go back again.

Came tonight at around 8pm with some friends. Food came pretty quickly and was very good. However the plates were cleared away while one of our party was still only half way through eating which wasn’t great as they really should have waited till we all finished. Then we never saw anyone again, and we were there for around another 45 mins.

Had a lovely 3 course meal here which was a buy a gift voucher. It was a fixed menu but there was enough choice and the food was delicious and plentiful. The starters were fresh and hot and very enjoyable as was our spaghetti bolognese and the pudding of honeycomb cheesecake, well you just didn't want it to end!.

Like Zizzi, Prezzo is a standard pizza / pasta place. The quality of food is good, the service excellent, and the seating ample. However, if you want a spaghetti bolognese, why pay £12 for it when you can make a decent one yourself for less than £2?

Waited about 30 secs to be shown to a table of our choice, open inviting bar and very friendly staff. also very clean and beautifully lit.

We have been to Prezzos several times in the past (different locations) and the menu needs an overhaul. They only ever seen to alter a couple of dishes when they refresh the menu so I always end up having the same thing due to dietary restrictions and it gets boring.

First of all I know I have reviewed before. I have to make a comment on a particular member of staff from your branch in Borehamwood.

Slightly disappointed that the service wasn’t great. We waited ages to get the bill and in the end we had to go to the counter to pay. Food was lovely though.

We booked a table back in February for 23 to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children, grandchildren, my sister and her family. Well the day arrived and we travelled down from Bedford (our family all live very near Borehamwood) We had left a £100 deposit, and we were sent an email for our booking.

Food was amazing, hummas was delish, staff attentive. Pizza needs more cheese, otherwise fab Loos needed a bit of attention.

We eat here regularly because the management and staff promote a warm, friendly atmosphere and the kitchen provide excellent food. If you go there once, you will keep going back.

I booked a table at Prezzo with my family and the service from beginning to end was amazing! Our waiter Korab paid attention to what we were looking for and recommended the best dishes on the menu, this is not something you get these days.

We had an amazing lunch time on Sunday in Prezzo Borehamwood. Thanks to great hospitality and attention of Manager Martin who suggested our dishes we have tried something different this time and it was great experience ! Will be back soon for !

Lovely atmosphere with kind staff. The waiter knew I was having a business meeting so didn’t bother us but just offered service every now and then.

We had a fabulous lunch served by Korab who looked after us so well. He was very nice with our kids and helped them navigate the menu. Food was lovely too!

Me and my husband come here all the time. Love coming here. Food is fantastic and service is always on point. All the staff are friendly and amazing. They always accommodate for what ever we need. We often come alone or with friends and family. Never had a bad meal. Keep up the good work Prezzo and looking forward to seeing you again shortly.

We came on a busy Saturday evening and I became a bit dizzy and unwell, the staff looked after me really well and let me lie down on a sofa, called paramedics. They wouldn’t let me pay for coffee and chocolate I needed. I was lying there for a couple of hours until nearly closing. Special thanks to Matin and Bethy. The food was of usual Prezzo standard and service was very quick and friendly. I would definitely come back. Thank you!

Really nice staff and really lovely! I want to mention Corab, Martin and Claudiu! Food is much better than other restaurants with the same name.

Sitting here today having had another wonderful meal, the food is the very best of the Prezzo branches, and we are regulars at several.

We were greeted warmly as our table wasn’t ready n it was raining outside,but weren’t offered for our coats to b taken or a drink at the bar, we didn’t have t wait long,we were shown to our table, putting our soaking wet coats on the bench seat or back of chair, there were some crayons for the smaller kids. We were served by two/three staff orders were taken n starters arrived, everyone was pleased with them but one person had t wait f his, mains arrived mine was a bit dry n the skin was burnt I had the grilled salmon n the veg was very sparce and hard for £15.70 no rice or potatoes that would of been extra, son in law is half Italian n wasn’t very impressed with his meal either. Quite expensive for what we had food wise and the drinks were too a pint of peroni, a Malibu n coke two coffees n a tea £25.00... they were very friendly and accommodating but I wouldn’t rush back. It was very noisy and I could hardly hear my husband across the table.

Nice modern restaurant with friendly staff but toilets left a lot to be desired. Needed a good clean overall and had def not been cleaned today. Food was nicely presented. Just a shame about overall cleanliness.

Amazing food and service, delivered by Marcin and Elizabeta . My pizza was nice thin base and a lot of filling and egg cooked to perfection Would definately recomend.

Took my family for dinner they had a menu for 2 courses for £10.95 and 3 courses for £13.45 really great value and still good portions with good service

Was pleasantly surprised I tend to avoid chain restaurants as very samy menus.But manager lovely . Place was clean and food not microwaved but cooked fresh . I lasagna was moist not overcooked and dry and my mothers risotto chicken asparagus needed looking more seasoning but was really nice

I was dining here quite often and the food made by head chef was amazing and so tasty. The service provide by Andreea and Marchin was so great that I definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be back soon.

This was my first time eating at Prezzo, and must that it’s one of the best carbonara’s I’ve ever had, and was cooked perfectly. Will be back again soon for lunch with my work colleagues

Had a really lovely family meal, particularly accommodating to my 88 year old mother. Lasagne was really good and the mini deserts just enough for a final sugar hit. Andreea was a particularly delightful waitress and made our experience extra special.

Visiting Elstree and ate here twice in 4 days. Cocktails are lovely and very reasonably priced. Had the 3 course set menu on both occasions. Stuffed mushrooms and garlic bread for starters and beetroot and goats cheese gnocchi with pesto both times, as it was that nice. Brownie first time but it was that sweet I could feel my teeth melting! Had panna cotta second visit and it was perfect. Both desserts were vegetarian. Thrilled that I could have panna cotta, as it is normally not veggie.

Food is fine (it’s a chain restaurant after all) but the service really set it apart - prompt and attentive, fast to get the kids their food (vital with an autistic child) and kind enough to secure my wife’s bag when she left it behind. Thanks!

I do know prezzo quite well however it was my first time in Prezzo Borehamwood and I must say it’s the best prezzo I’ve ever been to.

It wasn’t my first visit at Prezzo but first time in Borehamwood one. Food here is really great and people very friendly. Manager Martin made sure we had absolutely everything what we needed. Atmosphere is just amazing here and definitely we will be back again! Highly recommended!

Me and my husband came here to eat Wednesday last week. We had a wonderful 3 course meal and a few drinks. Food was absolutely delicious and drinks were lovely to. We were served by a couple of your waitresses. However, a young lady by the name of Ola stood out to us. She was always smiling and polite. She made the experience even better. Can who ever looks at these pass on a message. Just to let her know she did really well and should keep up the good work. Well done Ola hope to see you again :)

This is a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere, menus has a decent selection and food is pretty good for a chain. Reasonable drink selection and good service.

This is a new branch of the nationwide chain. Not busy when we arrived (around 6:15), but was filling up when we left.

What an absolute shambles. We were five ladies wanting to just meet one evening for a casual get together, a light bite, and a catch up. We were sat down very quickly, but the restaurant was understaffed, so service was very slow. Orders eventually given, and eventually food arrived. The food that eventually made it was dreadful. I started off with stuffed mushrooms, all five of them each as big as a fifty pence piece, dried out, served with a mayo dip which tasted better than the mushrooms! Fiorentina pizza followed minus the egg!,, The pizza was ok in the centre but extremely dry round the edges, so left about a third of it. Did not bother to stay for coffee. The restaurant did adjust the bill though but really it should have been perfect in the first place. This is a shame as the premises are nice and large, and does have a nice atmosphere, just does not have nice enough food so will not go back.
