Wonderful birthday evening and staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and plentiful too.

At 9 pm, a group of 40 of us decided to head to the restaurant, and they welcomed us with open arms. Despite not having a reservation, they did an incredible job accommodating everyone. It was my birthday dinner and they were amazing by playing some birthday songs for us as well. The food and service were outstanding, and we all had a fantastic time!

The restaurant is excellent, with respectful staff and delicious food, especially the kebabs.

They have a knack for messing up orders. Ordered rice; they gave me chips - and to make up for it reimbursed me £0.80. Would not recommend.

The Kofte was not what I was expecting it was not like any kofte I’ve had before tbh it was not good quality for price only 2 prices of meat and small salad pot for £19 plus the outta was stone cold and hard the quality was very poor from restaurant

I said very well done. I wrote in both English and Turkish It didn't come with a fork and spoon, we ate it with our hands.

I ate a wonderful pita, I couldn't believe I was in Cambridge, it was like I was in Turkey. It's great that they also have tea as a bonus. The prices are also very reasonable, definitely recommended.

I ordered a wrap, the stuff inside smelled like meat and I called to complain, but unfortunately the phone was rudely hung up on me without even asking. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is a terrible restaurant.

Friendly service and great food, well worth the visit. Had the Mixed Appetiser and then the Sharing Platter for 2, really good sized portions, well presented and tasted fab.

Came in for a spot of lunch. Clean and calm atmosphere and the food is beautifully cooked to perfection! Would recommend and come again.

Impressive. In our opinion this is the best Turkish place in Cambridge. Food was amazing, as was quantity and price! Cozy and familiar place. Seriously, you should try it.

I guess we can call ourselves regulars at Mediterranean BBQ! What stands out the most is the exceptional service. They’re not fussy about reservations and always do their best to find you a table, even on busy evenings. The staff are consistently polite, professional, and generous, which makes every visit enjoyable. The food quality is excellent . We’re big fans of their grilled meat options, grilled halloumi, lahmacun, and pides. The complimentary hot bread with dips and salad as a welcome gesture is such a thoughtful touch. Their prices are also very reasonable, making it even easier to keep coming back. As someone who values excellent service, cleanliness, and delicious food, I can confidently say that few places in Cambridge deliver on all three the way Mediterranean BBQ does. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere for family and children with a great friendly customer experience ...

The food tastes so nice! Really generous portions as well. Tye service remains outstanding as all the staff are really friendly and polite. We felt a bit cold but they put the heating on, on top of us. Mediterranean never disappoints me.

There is almost no meat in the cubed pita I ordered at home! You filled the pita with pepper. How much does meat cost per kilo in this country so that you can make pita like this? Change the name to pepper pita so we know what we're ordering. It's a shame! I didn't like you at all. Also, it was like mud in that pizza box where you put the pita.

Food was great, we got two wraps from the place. They offered us complimentary Turkish tea and went above and beyond to give excellent customer service, definitely recommend for one of the halal options at Cambridge!

Was my birthday, went with the family 7 of us. Such kind staff, lovely with the kids we were anxious about bringing the 15 month old out to the restaurant. Food was delicious. They even brought out a birthday cake at the end.... really made the night special

Our family of four ordered sharing plate for two, falafel plate, and a dolma appetizer. We were served two baskets of fluffy Turkish pita no charge, drank tap water and ordered one glass of white wine. They also gave us a dish of yougurt, garlic, cuke dip, a bowl of amazing house made hot chile sauce and another milky white sauce. The sharing plate was large and had chicken, beef, shwarma, ground lamb, chops all served on a bed of rice and some chips. We were all hungry and left fully satisfied. The food was very well prepared. Only the falafel was lacking in crispness. The bill total was 74 pounds. Seemed to us a very reasonable price for a tasty and filling meal. Our waiter was kind and attentive. Recommend.

It's not a take away kebab you eat after a night out. It's a very decent restaurant with a good quality food. 👍🏽 Try Ali Nazik and Lahmacun.

Delicious food and a fabulously friendly service. Lived here over 20 years and never eaten here before....intend to make up for lost time.

Had an amazing time after a long day sightseeing in Cambridge. The staff were very warm and the foot was fresh and delicious. Definitely try the feta salad.

The best ever Turkish food experience outside Turkey.

This restaurant is quite unique. From the outside it looks small and ordinary, but when you enter it turns out to be nice and spacious. The food served is delicious and the waiters are also friendly. The place is also easy to find, not far from the shopping center.

Extremely poor quantity compared to the price. Next to This Lokum is Far better. Never going back again.

Gone downhill recently. Appetizers have become tiny and very expensive. Suçuk is over £8 for three tiny pieces! The mixed grill is dominated by far too salty and tasteless doner and cheap chicken wings. Not going back unless there is a marked improvement.

Kunafa was really bad.. had high expectations but felt cheese was not good.. won't recommend at all

I have been here a few years back, and I was so excited to be going back, as I have fond memories of the food there, and I think that it was even better than I remembered. The portion sizes are perfect. It's will balanced diet, you'll get your 5 a day easily. And the food is the best I've ever had outside of Turkey 🇹🇷. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in the Cambridge area!!!

On first day of my nephew’s move to Cambridge we lunched at Mediterranean BBQ. The food was delicious and authentic Turkish with friendly waiters and great atmosphere This was my first visit to Cambridge and it was nice to see the choice of good restaurants in this university town. My only regret is that we forgot to take some photos in the restaurant :-)

Came here for dinner. It's small and busy so walk ins are impossible. Food was good although portions are small in comparison to other Turkish places. My friend had to ask twice for a straw and I asked for rice with my food and received chips.

Even though it was a place I've been to many times before and I liked it, lately it wasn't enough anymore. The lahmacun is very nice, but the price is very expensive and the service charge is high. It's not a place I can recommend right now. Unfortunately, they served tea, it was cold in the room and they charged me for it, it's a joke. I hope they fix themselves. Don't worry about your pocket instead of gaining customers.

I came to this restaurant from google map and I was not sure if the food and service are good. I was amazed by the delicious food and the generous portions as well as the service. Totally, worth a try.

One of the best grilled meats I had for a long time, reasonable price, Large portion, professional and friendly staff. One suggestion only, a little bit less salt would make it perfect 👌

First time I've been there today, very friendly lovely staffs. I called and reserved the table as it was a last min plan and other places were booked up. I really enjoyed the meal though I think they could've done better as I've had Turkish before and it was awesome, just need to improve a lil more on the flavours and not over cook the dishes. Lahmacun was a lil bit too crispy plus a bit burnt and Doner was quite hard as well as Shish, everything else was fine. Just a lil touch ups that's all it needs.

We ate mixed shish kebab, hummus, dolma, salad, lahmacun,was great . the atmosphere was calm, was nice, the employees were all very interested, the prices were decent, the taste was very ceiling.original taste like in turkey 👍

Great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality! We were in Cambridge for the Guides to Goodness event at the Cambridge Mosque and stopped over on the way back to Bradford for a takeaway. We ordered the Pide, doner wrap and iskander kebab. Everything was fresh and packed with wonderful flavours. The people are great too, very welcoming and hospitable.

I absolputely enjoyed the classic Turkish food very much. The doner was very good and the lahmacun was something else. The chicken kebab is also a very good option. Overall it was a great experience.

Loved the meat platter, the kebabs were juicy and taste was awesome!! Fresh meat with rice were very good. Baklava and Kunafa wete amazing too!! Prices are on higher side but its fully recommended.

Worst donner meat I've had in my life. Everything else was 'OK'. The donner was too dry and lacked any flavour. We went as a large family group a d were happy to see the size and cleanliness. But when the food came out it all started going downhill. When I complained about the Donner they basically responded with a 'whatever'. Reading the reviews, my thoughts are that something has changed, probably to maintain profit margins. As a result quality has gone down... We also found a hair in the food and again, no real apology in fact they made my sister in law feel as though she placed the hair in the food to get a new dish!?!

Service is great, the food is good, I've had better Turkish food in all honesty, the only critic is that starters could be better and the hot starter was cooked in really old oil, you can taste it unfortunately. Other than that, we sat outside as the weather was nice.

Ordered salmon meal which describes you get it with baby potatoes, I received fries with it- for the price they could do better...
