Good service, with a sleepy mascot, good waffle and fair price!

We came here 3 times to buy waffles at the right time when it is meant to be open but it was closed and there was no other bubble waffle cafe anywhere in cambridge so we came there for nothing really disappointing

the ice cream is anything but ice cream. I paid 4 puonds for a strawberry ice cream that looks like gum.

Sat inside to escape the hot weather but it was stuffy and hot inside too. Bins clearly hadn't been emptied in days with fruit flies everywhere. The man serving was friendly but was singing loudly the whole time and clearly loved having control over the song choice. Wouldn't come back.

I went back here recently to have some waffles, and they reminded me why they are one of the best in the business. The waffles are incredible, delicious and there is lots of variation over what you can have. The wait time was short and comfortable, and the combination of waffle, Nutella, strawberries and ice cream made for a brilliant evening treat. My only minor complaint is that it filled me up too much, but that's a small price to pay for a great dessert like this

really lovely place, the guy who was working there was very helpful and nice. i had a boba tea it was made very well. there is also a dog there who’s very sweet and friendly.

While the ambiance was pleasant, the bubble tea fell far short of expectations—it was the worst I've ever tasted. I'm now kicking myself for not researching bubble tea reviews beforehand, blindly trusting the star rating. Despite the menu listing a price of £3.50, I ended up paying £4.70, and to compound the disappointment, the drink was lukewarm. While not as terrible as some have claimed, it's certainly overpriced for the mediocre taste.

Great service and lovely hot chocolate

The bubble tea was so weak and expensive. I paid extra for the boba and the syrup, I love bubble tea but this was revolting. I’m glad my mates decided to get a drink somewhere else. As we got some nice drinks at the smoothie bar in the grand arcade.

Saw the sign outside for hot drink + cake only £5.50 and had to go inside. Was so quiet but the atmosphere was lovely. The members of staff were all super funny and friendly, and even gave us a free mango milkshake since they had made so much extra! There was also a cute dog snoring at the back which apparently belongs to the manager.

Found this lovely little coffee shop and other half got a tasty cheescake and i got a coffee. Best part is the beautiful doggos

I love this shop so much! And what makes it even better is that the mascot is a chow chow called Levy! Will be definitely coming back soon :))

The staff is nice but the food is really bad. First of all they did not have staberries, any alternative milk or even the paper to print the receipt, so I could not get one. Second the coffee was so bad that I left all of it. The waffle was average and over priced.

For starters, I got 70p off my drink because im broke, which was really nice of the guy. I went with my sister and the owner(s) were quite interesting. They made us laugh (unintentionally i think) multiple times and once we left the first time, we went back because it was a nice, friendly atmosphere. The street it is on was lovely too. We watched a young lad throw his phone down some stairs and the owners were very sympathetic towards him. One of the workers there, i think his name is Connor, looks like Jake Peralta from Brooklyn 99 and the other one looks like Bowser from Mario kart, but with glasses. The one that looked like Bowser tried to stop my older sister from using her gas tank because he thought it was a vaping device. He was wrong. This review is mainly intended for the owners to see. Thank you for letting us sit in your shop, sorry for the waffling (pun intended), have a good night. Ps- we'll be back next week. Also i hope you enjoyed your £35 cigar while watching the fireworks Jake.

. Lovely staff and great service, would highly recommend this place! 😊 I stopped briefly for an iced coffee and the kind and friendly manager went out of his way to go off menu and make me an iced mocha.

They have unique bubble waffles and its tasty and the iced milo was good it felt like I was at home and the staff was so friendly

Our first and last visit. Truly awful. Scruffy staff and terrible gelato! We actually got up and left our icecream. £16 for 2 scoops of icecream that was no better than tesco value, I actually feel robbed. Get out of Cambridge with your sh** icecream.

I can't find any complaint in the world with the experience, the food, or the atmosphere. The staff is really friendly. Definitely back.

Honestly, after coming from a exhausting shift, Btap is the best place to recharge. Also I had the best strawberry cheesecake ever! I definitely recommend trying this gem because you are going to have an unique experience! 🤍🍓

Popped in today for two ice creams, to take away, and was appalled at the cost, a total of £8.27! There was nothing special about them, just one scoop in a waffle cone. I can see there are many good reviews, so maybe I was unlucky, but I certainly won't be going again. On the positive side the guys were quite friendly and the hygiene was good.

Little do we know that B Tap Baron serves the flavorful Kadak Chai to meet my expectation. When I met Hamzah at the shop and asked about their Kadak Chai if it is that of the Indian Masala tea, he was honest about it and experienced enough to know that there is a different. Their Kadak Chai is of the gulf version which is sweeter and less spicy. Whereas the Indian Masala tea is relatively less sweeter and much more spicy. Thanks Hamzah, and his patience to finally concort the Indian Masala tea on the 2nd try. I was so satisfied that I bought 2 cups instead of the usual one cup for a typical teabreak. Well done, Hamzah .... hope your days get even better.

Excellent service and good banter from the staff

Ordered from BTap tonight after my little brother has been talking about it the last couple of days. We got milkshakes and they did not disappoint! The strawberry milkshake was great 😊 milkshakes here are alot better than the ones I had ordered in the past. Definitely recommend the Oreo milkshake. 10/10 on dessert and staff!

They first had me when they opened the door and welcomed me in. They took their time to tell me every item on the menu. Super quick & friendly service. The food was heavenly oh my god I could not get enough! Amazing little live performance from the employees (very good singing I must admit) and FLUFFY DOGS!? excuse me but I’ll be coming every week now! Definitely sharing the word around. Guys were very sweet and chilled to talk to 5 stars.

Been a couple of times now tried different items from their menu everything has been delicious. Went with my vegan friend this last time and was surprised but really happy they had vegan options..

One of the best place for shakes in town. Must try chocolate shake with chocolate fudge. Mr. Hamza knows better about customer service.

Best boba I've had cheap aswell

Place was nice but the employee left my order to last and I was the first one to order and I didn’t even get what I wanted (mango boba) but instead got a peach boba had to leave because it was to slow and needed to catch a train. Let alone I had 15 minutes prior to catch my train. Don’t recommend this place. The employee also was getting stressed out and chucking things about and not being very organised. People are nice just not quick enough or organised.

Really kind staff and amazing waffles that let you choose as many or as little toppings as you would like. Very well integrated with the culture of Cambridge too, there are 6 custom waffles that are named after a notable Cambridge scientist - and buying these is also a very generous discount on the normal waffles.
