Amazing experience!! We had the best server! Cocktails and speed of service was great

Pros: - nice atmosphere - good location - got seated with 11 people in the bar area (not the restaurant) on a Saturday without booking Cons: - slow service behind bar - there were a lot of staff around the bar/kitchen area but only 1 serving the bar area so it took ages to order - the bar staff didn't know what a mocha was and said they didn't do them. I later realised they did but had to wait again for another staff member to serve me (again, despite lots of staff being behind the bar area). It took ages to make and there was no apology. - one of the nachos that we ordered didn't arrive. I spoke to the barman and he just told me all the food had come out. When I explained again that it had not, he just looked at me blankly and said "hmm it's confusing". After then speaking to the manager, he checked and did go over to the kitchen and told me they were on the way. They did finally arrive after the rest of the table had eaten but no apology! Not impressed with the service at all. Overall very frustrating and I spent half the time at the bar trying to sort out drink then food!

Lovely food and drink but a new waitress made our experience nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish unfortunately 😑

This is a really nice spot, and was fairly quiet. Arrived around 8pm on a Saturday. Food was delicious. We ordered the Taco Sharing board x2 to share between 6 of us as a finger type food. The beef was fabulous 👌🏽, probably should have ordered 3. Of course you cannot go to Las Iguanas without cocktails or cocktails, and they did not disappoint. We had a fabulous time. The waiter was lovely, funny. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend whether it be a date night or a night out with the girls. There is an outside bit where smokers can smoke, with tables aswell.

Empty at lunch time, service pretty poor, just slow, staff not really sure what they're doing, toilets were terrible, no lock on my cubicle, didn't look like they'd been cleaned since last night as the bin was full at 12.30 and they had only been open a short while. Had no lemonade apparently, yet serve all manner of spirits, so who knows what you'll have if you don't like coke.

Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, speedy service. All round, great dinner out. Our host Olivia was amazing too!!

I LOVE Las Iguanas. Every time I’ve been here (3 now, and to be many more) the exemplary service is paired with delectable dishes. The atmosphere is bubbly and informal, great for a laugh or a catch up, and really picks up in the evenings when the cocktails are in flow. Portion sizes are great, and nothing is spared on the flavourful dishes. Highlight of all? The service. Each and every staff member are brilliant, smiley, helpful, and always there to make your experience. I will be coming back, again and again!! Thanks again Franco, brilliant service and a great charisma.

Cocktails are no where near as good as they used to be. The good is all looking a bit tired too. It takes forever to get served at the bar and it's super slow.

Had an amazing experience at Las Iguanas thanks to Skye and her manager! Skye was super friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. We visited on a Saturday evening for a couple of cocktails before our booking at a nearby restaurant. After ordering 2 Mojito Cocktails which we have had many times at various venues, we were shocked at what the waiter served up. 2 flimsy plastic cups were placed on the counter and packed with ice. He then poured water into both of them and a tiny dash of some kind of serum. Leaves were put in and then again more water to the top. I actually asked him what it was as he had already put it in at the beginning and he replied water. £27 for the 2 cups of iced water basically, absolutely misold, what a con. DONT WASTE TOUR MONEY HERE.

Absolutely awful - Tip - If you visit Cambridge do not go here! We had a great day in Cambridge. Did Punting down the River Camb, found a lovely Pub and had a nice meal at Prezzos. We were robbed of £27 for 2 Mojitos in this establishment. The guy did not even know how to make a Mojito. Served in flimsy plastic cups. We compained and we were promtly barred - Thank you. I never intend to revisit anyway. 5 Star Prices - Zero Star Service

Las Iguanas in Cambridge was delightful South American dining experience. Our waiter Franco was attentive, friendly and went out of his way to ensure we were satisfied! We came here for our anniversary dinner and it was lovely. Franco was amazing, so lovely and attentive to us, made sure we got lots of cocktails for our bottomless brunch. He was so polite beginning to end and made the experience even better!! Would definitely come again and definitely ask if Franco is around as your service will be lovely

Olivia is a ray of sunshine, she used to work at Bella but told us she was moving so we came to visit her on her first week and I’m so happy she stayed local, they are lucky to have her

Had a pleasant experience at this Mexican restaurant. The waiter provided excellent service, and the food was delicious. However, I feel that the prices are a bit high for the quality and taste—around 20% cheaper would be more reasonable. Overall, it was a good experience, but slightly overpriced.

We had a takeaway to collect and I arrived to collected my order was send to wrong address and some dish of my order was missing so I ended up with different dish the takeaway was cold as I had to wait for another dish to replace the one I had order

Ordered a loaded chicken with bacon and special sauce for £17.00 with straight fries and rice.when it arrived I noticed the chicken breast was half a chicken breast so they had a breast and cut it down the middle and gave me half of it put the bacon on top and loaded it with sauce.felt like a starter.never again oh and 14 quid for a pint of cider and two cokes.as I said never again.

The food is great and the place in Cambridge is always packed. The service can get a bit slow but that is, I am assuming, down to the place being packed. Another great thins is the 2 for 1 cocktail offers.

We went for my friends 21st birthday, we had a brunch. The food was amazing although small portions, i had a jackfruit curry only 2 small pieces of jackfruit. The service was not great, every time you got the waiters attention they would ignore you, so hard to get your moneys worth if you get the brunch. The place was empty but only one guy behind the whole bar. Would not recommend id rather go to turtle bay to get my moneys worth for a bottomless brunch.

It was, as usual a very good experience, everything was very nice. Only slight disappointment was that we were looking forward to Churros but there were some supply issues with the Churros for a few weeks. Had the salted caramel ice cream instead which was excellent too.

Went on a Sunday lunchtime. Wasn’t overly busy. Food was good but there was a delay with our order as it got mislaid. They had also run out of straws which made drinking the mojitos a little difficult. We were kept informed about the delay and the lack of straws was explained. Would go again.

The food was really nice and I always love the presentation of Iguanas! The service was good, very fast to order and receive the food. Drinks were amazing as well. My only complaint is about the music inside that it was too loud so we couldn’t talk. Not a problem if it is sunset and party time, but it was at 1pm.

Our waitress for the night was absolutely amazing. It was her only 2nd or 3rd day but we just didn’t feel like it at all. Very professional and friendly. Also, present manager at the time was very helpful as well. Amazing team!

Super tasty food, and friendly service from all staff. Unfortunately the cleanliness and wait time has stopped this from being a 4 star rating. The bathrooms were absolutely horrendous. Had to walk up multiple flights of stairs, not ideal for older family members. Waited 25 minutes for our drinks, and then over 45 for our mains.

Lovely setting overlooking the Cam River. Unfortunately, only one chef meant a long wait + many items (that I wanted to order) were not available. Would have helped to have stated menu limitations when being showed to table. Service was good in the circumstances. Ladies toilets in very poor condition; either out of order, not clean or locks broken. Only 1 out of 4 useable

Toilets are a long walk round the back of the building and are disgusting - the cubicles didn't have locks bar one and that one didn't have toilet paper. All of them were beyond filthy with trash covering the floor. Also waited ages for one drink to be served.

The menu has now changed and not much variety, plus the portions are small for the price. Las Iguanas has severely gone downhill and actually was one of my favourite restaurants but now it's poor and worst is that the service charge is optional but it actually mandatory as they immediately charge you compulsory service charge. I believe the restaurant does not understand the meaning of optional 🤔🤔🤔

Went there on a Saturday and was quite disappointed with the classic margarita they served me. Firstly, they served it in the wrong glass, secondly they forgot to add any ice, thirdly they didn't add any salt to the glass, and finally most important of all they put half measures in two separate glasses. The offer was two for one, but I well know that I only got one cocktail. When I asked the staff they said they ran out of the cocktail glasses, ran out of salt and forgot the ice. Most pathetic.

Gabe is a great waiter. Always ready when our drinks were finished. All staff were polite and very easy to talk to. Great selection of food and drink.

The food is average Nachos were not fresh and not crunchy Service is slow because of the shortage of staff, but they were trying hard to help! Poor them

Went for bottomless brunch, paid £35, and didn’t receive a single cocktail with alcohol in!! never left a bottomless brunch so sober!! Food was tasty, but the cocktails were just juice and nothing else. A big shame and a waste of money!!

Went for bottomless brunch 03/08/24 party of 4. Service was terribly slow, usually bottomless brunch service is super quick with drink refills but we got 3 drinks in the space of an hour an a half. They attempted to make up for this with 4 jugs of cocktails which were based on our previous order of cocktails of which we cancelled as 2 of those tasted like paint stripper. Food is OK, don’t expect to be full as they are not carb heavy (unless you order £2-4 sides ie. Chips. (Burger does not come with chips for example) Waited 45 minutes for prosecco glasses after being served a bottle, told they’d be with us in 10 mins due to a shortage in glasses (understanable). But then being offered half pint glasses which were disgustingly dirty - see photo. Just constantly had to chase for drinks overall a frustrating experience.

Absolutely gutted spend £35 and £8 services charge . Had the coconut chicken curry . It’s so small don’t fill you up at all. Taste ok nothing special. But as for the bottomless drinks are terrible! Not one that was nice. All tasted like pineapple juice from an all inclusive hotel and came in awful glasses. You would be much better off buying a main meal and drinks or cocktails off the normal menu. This was extremely disappointing worse bottomless brunch Iv done. Won’t be doing it again. And the toilets for the lady’s you can be waiting up to 10 minutes

Went with friend for bottomless brunch, really good selection of food for both of us, my GF and DF was cared for, lots of cocktail options too… location location location.. we sat by window and watched the punting brilliant day

AVOID!! Bathrooms are disgraceful, not well looked after at all!!. Waited a very long time for our food to arrive and it was a total disappointment, it tasted like primary school food and nothing tasted fresh, like microwaved food, definitely not worth your money, so avoid.

About what you'd expect of Mexican food in the UK, although it was still decent enough. Cocktails were yummy too. The location is definitely the best part, I loved sitting at the table by the water! I can only imagine how wonderful it is to sit there on a nice day. That alone made me almost want to go back!

Worse restaurant experience to date. Loud, poor service and poor drinks. We went to the bottomless brunch. 20 mins and still not drink. Very limited menu and then they don’t include things i.e. burger but fries £3 extra. Toilets are dirty and smelly. It was lunchtime and two people were “having a good time” in the mens! Food was cold when delivered eventually and the music and shouting got louder and louder.

We popped into the Cambridge branch of Las Iguanas this afternoon. Terrible customer service at the bar. We left after waiting for a while.

Got automatically charged a 10% “optional“ service fee that was listed as part of the total. Not sure if it was added because I am American. Overall okay place. Was out of the first two mains we asked for. The 2-for-one on all cocktails is nice if you’re with someone who wants the same drink. Mixed drink price is about 50% higher than other places but you get 2 nice cocktails, so it may be a good value for you.
