first time in cambridge and genuinely the nicest pub i’ve ever visited. the staff were super helpful and friendly and the vibes inside and outside are impeccable. the garden space is small but gets the sun just perfectly. they even had a gluten free pizza base that was surprisingly tasty!! 2-4-1 pizzas on a monday so ended up being super affordable. ashley behind the bar was the sweetest most wholesome person ever and gave us recommendations for pubs/clubs to visit and 10/10 service so thank you ashley !! such a cute location and pub you must visit !!

Popped in today based on a previous experience for pizzas with friends, such a fabulous pub with amazing pizzas, all of the other food we saw come out looked great too - we also have som bao buns and were stunning. Service and suggestions also exceptional, had a lovely served called Ashley who was great fun and helpful, everyone was. They have a big pizza oven right in the middle of the pub and was great to see it in action. Already planning out next visit!

Nice pub on tennison road not far from Cambridge railway station, it's a fairly large pub plenty of seating, had a couple of drinks in there , nice atmosphere quite busy and a dog friendly pub as well which is good

One of our favourite Cambridge pubs! Great food (esp the pizzas), decent beer, and good service. This evening Bella served us, she was friendly and brought food quickly. Always a bit tricky to get a table, but only because it's a great pub!

Chill place with awesome "wierd" pizza selections and decent beers on tap. Special shout out to Bella "from another pub". She was super friendly and cheery, always attentive and made us feel welcome. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a warm slice and a cold brew!

FIVE STAR review for Fin - if I could give it 6, I would. Was looking for pizza and a pint after getting a long train and this was perfect! Great music, great location, service was excellent. No notes, would highly recommend !!!!

Nice pub! Very small but really good pizzas! All pizzas we ordered were superb and quite filling! The one with pork belly and kimchi was the highlight for sure! The place is really nice and very family friendly! I really like that they have tap water available for you to pick up instead of having to ask all the time!

What a place! We were served by Jem who was fantastic and extremely attentive. We will be back soon

Looking for a dog friendly pub for food on a Sunday We just missed the 4pm close on Sunday lunches so went for pizzas which were excellent Served by Jen, very friendly atmosphere, good value

I had the Toni and the Mac + Cheese (with brisket), and would highly recommend both. The food was incredible, probably the best pizza I’ve eaten. The service was excellent as well, food ordered and eaten within 40 minutes. We had Jem as our server - she was polite and friendly. She made recommendations (re Gluten Free options) to us which were greatly appreciated! Overall, highly recommended!!

How refreshing! When was the last time you walked into an establishment and were welcomed with a warm greeting and a smile? Personally, I haven’t in a while. Jem has been a star, serving us with speed and open arms. It has been a quiet Sunday afternoon here in Salisbury Arms, with a hot and flavoursome Sunday Roast, while it drizzles outside. Thank you for having me and my partner here. It was our first time here and it will not be our last!

Fin (Assistant Manager) at the Salisbury Arms provided exceptional service, going above and beyond all night to provide drinks recommendations and insight into the preparation of several cocktails. El domingo tuvimos la cena vegetariana asada mientras que nuestros amigos tuvieron la opción de carne de res. Las porciones eran buenas, vegetarianas firmes, las patatas asadas crujientes, salsa del lado derecho de goteo. La cerveza siempre está bien cuidada. We have been coming to The Salisbury Arms every week for a year now and won’t be stopping anytime soon! The pizzas are unbeaten by all and the service is great. Fin always does his bit to accommodate us even on the busiest of nights!

Lovely little pub, the roast was beautiful. The take flight idea for trying their pints was cool. Bar staff was friendly and polite would definitely come back and recommend it.

We booked here for a roast earlier today whilst visiting for the weekend due to the positive Google reviews. Safe to say, it did not disappoint. It was a lovely pub, with a great atmosphere and cool vibe. Super friendly bar staff, lovely good and reasonably priced. 10/10 - would recommend, if we were staying for longer, I’d definitely come back for their pizzas because they looked great too!

Great Saturday afternoon with beers and excellent pizzas. We had pepperoni, mushroom and chipotle with some nibbles on the side. All excellent hot and quickly served. Jem behind the bar was super friendly and brought us water for our dog.

We went to have lunch to get gluten free pizzas, as advertised in their menu. However, they had ran out of the base pizzas. We found that very disappointing, as we couldn't enjoy the lunch we had booked for. I think this type of mistake is so easily fixable, just stock enough gluten free pizza bases, that a review was necessary so that this doesn't happen again in the future. Please, stock properly for your celiac clients. Thank you. EDIT: After returning to the premises we had a wonderful lunch. Thank you for inviting us to return.

Pizzas are great and the Monday BOGOF was a nice edition. Was kid friendly and the kids menu was great too.

Had a lovely pre Christmas drinks, Gem was amazing and provided superb service. Really great place if you want good, chilled vibes. Plus food is amazing! Great value for money!

Nice place. The pizzas are delicious. Good range of beers. About 5 mins walk from the station, and 5 mins walk from Mill Road. Great location.

Salisbury Arms is the business for a good authentic pub atmosphere. Gem was superb as were the other staff Merry 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄 The Kissing Duck were a superb band 💃🕺

Really love this place; however, it’s starting to become a lot more chaotic when it’s comes to organisation. We had booked a table for 2, but there didn’t seem to be a system in place for the reservations when we arrived. Bar staff + waiting staff were extremely busy, and there didn’t seem to be anyone available who had an idea about the reserved table/availability of tables. Luckily my partner and I found an empty table, but it was a free for all. Still love the place so the 4/5 stars, but was a little disappointed.

Great place. But forgot my sanitiser on my visit, 13/12, Green liquid inside clear plastic bottle, Was sitting on Helen's table by the bogs. Pleas let me know if you find it. TYVM!

Great pizza and lasagna, wonderful atmosphere and the best pub quiz in Cambridge!

We had our team Christmas jolly at the Salisbury Arms and it was a lovely night! The service was brilliant, Abhi and the team were really accommodating. The table was set beautifully, the food was delicious, the chefs friendly and effective. The pub has a great atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable, and kindly accommodated the two extra joiners and the 6-month old that also attended. Thank you for having us!

Top points for the ambience, service and the drinks. Loved the gluten free pizza and the pancakes. Didn’t like the chicken wings it could be a personal preference. Shame didn’t take a pic of the pizza. Will definitely visit again to try the rest of the menu. Thanks for the lovely service!!

Destroyed a delicious Sunday roast at the Sal. Their pizzas are always on point but roast was a delicious surprise. Well seasoned, well cooked, great portion size. Will definitely be back for more. Drink selection is great. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Staff and service are excellent.
