Best food I've had, taste, smell, looks wise. Service is brilliant, great prices and lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Our first time trying Nepalese cuisine and really enjoyed it . The food was fresh and delicious and the dumplings gorgeous . The staff was very friendly , pleasant and full of smiles.

Great Nepalese food and excellent service - were happy to make any of the dishes vegan.

Come again after remodeling. The menu is different from the previous one. Had a rack of lamb and a mushroom rice. A beer of course. Lamb is great, it is soft and served with the home made sauce. But I miss the pasta hope it will come back at some point.

What a little gem! Went for a meal here due to staying in the local travelodge. Such great food very tasty and superb service too! Didn't take any photos too busy enjoying it! Definitely recommend!

I went there yesterday for the first time. It is a Nepalese restaurant now, but still a pub. Their food is amazing. We also ordered to take away (chicken rum rum) and it was spectacular even one day after. 👌 I really recommend this place if you're in Cambridge or if you live here but you've never been here.

£8.10 a pint of neck oil. £6.50 just 10 mins down the road at six six. Jokers.

We popped in here as close to where our daughter is now living. This was some of the best Nepalese food we have ever had and we come from near Aldershot where there are many Nepalese restaurants. All three dishes we had were amazing. The fact you can choose the heat of your dish opens up the whole menu. The Naan breads were great too. Would highly recommend. Staff were all really friendly and service was great too.

We visited the Corner House on a Saturday night. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We had a great time here! Come and give it a try now with the new management.

Super friendly staff. We have tried their food at their other restaurant in Girton, The Old Crown, and it’s simply delicious. Looking forward to try their food here next time.

Just popped in for a couple of pints while away for work. Nice staff, decent selection of beer...I had Neck oil and Level head IPA. There's also Moretti Fosters and Guinness etc

My wife & I have been visiting The Corner House for years, we're not local & last visit was January. It's under new management & not very impressive, only Greene King IPA on draught, it tasted a little perfumed, don't know why, very unusual. No food at all, no atmosphere, a few customers who didn't stay long. We really liked the previous landlady, Jo, she ran it really well, a welcoming pub with interesting food, good staff & a big garden out back. We were told by a fellow customer that she'd been driven out by brewery price rises, rent I suppose. Very sad & I hope things improve soon, we'll probably give it one more try on our next visit to Cambridge.

I popped in there for a pint a couple months ago, and the barman snidily tried to charge me £25 on the card reader for a pint of Guinness, i only got my money refunded because I caught him. I've recently seen Green King advertising for new owners to take over the premises. It needs it, get rid of the horrible witch running the place into the ground and get some actual atmosphere in there, its like gods waiting room. I'd been having a drink with the owners of another couple pubs locally and they said the dyke running the place (their actual words) is horrible and that barman Spud is notorious for ripping customers off with the card reader. The fact a pint of Guiness is £5.95 and he typed £25 into the card reader, thars not even a mistake he could make. They really are not liked by the other landlords in the area. You only need to look at the reviews of anyone that's left a negative reply, instead of the owner taking constructive criticism, she will belittle and slander the customers. Bitter horrible woman. For the pubs sake I hope Green King do get new ownership take over because the pub in it's current state is a toilet.

Such a lovely, cosy pub with a great range of food and incredible veggie/vegan options. The resident cat Iris is so precious and always up for snuggles!

Visited for Seafood weekend. Fantastic value, delicious food but (possibly due to bad weather) the pub was quiet and lacked the usual vibrant atmosphere

I went for the Eurovision event last night, the pub was packed full of people. The food was absolutely amazing and it was very cool how all the tapas dishes were themed to each country. All the food came out in a quick time even though the pub was busy. The only down fall was a table near us that was complaining constantly to the busy staff members. I overheard one say that they were going to plant a hair to get their money back. Which I think is so scummy especially how cheap the food was too!! Would highly recommend as it is a lovely establishment

Many dishes were overcooked, and we found a hair in one of them. The manager simply removed the dish without an apologies.

I stay across the road for work regularly and always come here for dinner, great selection of food and drinks and good service too. Nice friendly atmosphere to boot.

We've been to a couple of the Corner House wine tastings. A really informative and fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Great collaboration between Majestic Wine & the Corner House. Nice variety of wines with food to match, if that wasn't enough, Jo provides some great entertainment in the form of games. Both the staff and patrons are friendly, making for a really relaxing and convivial atmosphere. Amazing value, can't wait for the next one!

Visited with my baby and the staff were so lovely and accommodating, the food was lovely and a really decent price. Very friendly place would definitely recommend (and a very cute pub cat!)

Very welcoming staff and the food was lovely. Went with our small dog who loved her sausage. We had the Chicken Ham Hock & Leek pie and the smoked haddock meals, couldn't fault it.

Amazing pub! Lovely and very personable staff, regular special events and menus, and delicious food. We started coming last summer and it’s become our favorite pub in Cambridge. If you catch a karaoke night you’re in for a good time!

Went with my teenage boys while on a trip to Cambridge. Food was OK with GF options basic but fine. The pub had a weird atmosphere, Slightly unwelcoming and unprofessional. The man whom seemed harassed and not very friendly. We heard positive things so were a little disappointed.

The pub had a seafood Weekend so we went and the food was delicious. We had a sharing platter and a couple of mains each that were very good. The mains were very good but one was quite peppery, and when we asked for it to have some cheese and cream added to perhaps take the edge off, which they did, they then gave us a free dessert of their own volition. They also have some cool retro games and there’s lots of seating and space inside and in the beer garden. The staff are really nice and it seems as though there’s a lively community and schedule of events kept regularly up to date

Well what can we say, staying over the road at premier inn and never gave this good old fashioned pub a thought. For three days have been walking into Cambridge eating in over crowded and over priced places, yet over the road from where we are staying is this gem of a place. The Sunday roast we had today was far the tastiest we've ever had, like home cooking. The staff were so lovely. Just perfect. Thank you . Sadly going home tomorrow or we'd be visiting again xx

We went to Cambridge for a weekend trip from Holland in 2022 and discovered The Corner House. We loved it! Really friendly atmosphere and great staff. The food was excellent and the owner knows her wines. She made us feel so welcome. Since then we keep going back to Cambridge.....for the pub.

We've been there a few times now and it's always excellent. Delicious food and good service. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Went to Mexican Night with a few friends. It was such a fun night, it was absolutely heaving! There was an amazing atmosphere and the food was incredible. They had really thought about the themed menu and it all tasted delicious and authentic. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The themed nights really are top notch. Can’t wait for Curry Night on 28th March!

We booked a table for a friends birthday on Friday 22nd for the Mexican themed night. The food was authentic and very tasty and the Hot wings challenge and piñata was great fun! Jo the landlady was amazing and all the staff were fantastic and friendly. Highly recommend and we'll all be back for the seafood in May!

Absolutely love coming to The Corner House! It’s been my husbands go to pub in Cambridge for years and we love taking our family there. The food is fab, service is great and we love the themed nights and events! The team have always been friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. We’ve had grown up nights out and family lunches here and always have a great time. Thank you to the landlady and her team for always being so lovely whether I’m looking after the kids … or the husband!!!

This pub still feels like a proper pub , the menu is varied and the place often holds themed nights The outdoor area is very nice , you wouldnt think you were on the busy Newmarket Rd I always get a warm welcome and find the pub very comfortable .

I’ve been to the corner house many times and always had a great experience. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful and Jo the landlady always goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. I contacted her to help cater a wake a few weeks back when another venue had let our friends down and she put together an amazing buffet and made sure everyone was looked after. Will be back in soon for another great night.

We went to the Corner House in December for a Childminder's Christmas night out! WOW is all I can say!! What a night! The food was simply superb & plentiful, so much so none of us could actually eat all of it!! One of our party only told Jo that evening that she was able to make it & that she would like the normal menu & not the Christmas menu, this was absolutely fine with Jo. We all paid separately & had a number each for us to add drinks to when we wanted one. This worked really well & none of us had any issues with paying our own bills. There was 10 of us & the whole place was buzzing at each table & the pub was very busy. This did not effect the service we received, it was a fabulous night!! Some of my friends had not been to The Corner House before & were VERY surprised at how awesome it was & will be returning with their families.! Thank you to all the staff for making our Christmas night out so great!!!

We love this bar and the food is always amazing lots of choose and staff are friendly place is clean and tidy. I can’t fault the business.

Nice traditional English pub, clean and inviting. Food was well presented and tasty and price in keeping with our pocket also a great selection of drinks. All staff and other clients made us feel very welcome. Will most definitely be visiting on our next trip to Cambridge so convenient to the Travelodge hotel. Well done 'The Corner House.

The place was absolutely buzzing on a Tuesday night which tells it's own story. A great selection of food at reasonable prices and an amazing selection of drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

Came in yesterday after the half marathon. It was really busy and the food took a little longer than usual, but we didn’t mind waiting. The staff were amazing and the food was incredible! The atmosphere was fantastic. Loved it! Will definitely return!

Didn't have food. But the landlady was absolutely lovely. Great quality beer and Great Guinness. Shuffleboard was brilliant too. £5 but we had it all night!

Decent enough pub but don’t ask the staff if they would like a drink as a tip. I bought a bitter and a Guinness. The tip was r expensive than either! Taking the piss!!

Very friendly staff, we've organised a couple of events with them. All very easy and straightforward, food is nice and they provide lots of entertainment like karaoke, definitely be back, thanks!

We went for one of the curry nights. We were overwhelmed by how big the curry menu was. We loved the fact you can choose 3 little bowls of curry as a main, if you can't decide on one. The curries were quite good, but not as good as we were expecting. The spicy naan bread wasn't very tasty, but the poppadoms were the best we've ever had- really fresh and moreish. The curry nights are obviously popular and the restaurant gets really loud, which I'm aware the pub can't do much about. The pudding options were also vast and the ginger pudding was tasty. We would come back again, but maybe not on a curry night. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

Went in there over the weekend with my wife for a few drinks. Lovely pub opposite the Premier Inn & Travelodge hotels. Probably served the best pints of moretti that I've ever had 👍👍

Was a very good night, as we book tables just for drinks and some food for our family get together as our daughter was 18 the week before. Good game of shuffle board and later the classic arcade game if pacman.

Nice little pub in Cambridge. Amazing roast dinner on a Sunday too. Was a great atmosphere with the pub games - we spent quite a lot of time playing shuffleboard. There were also a couple of arcade games like space invaders. The bar staff were friendly and it was good value. Highly recommend!

Had a really nice family get together last night my Daughter was also celebrating her 18th we was well looked after was giving a our own area. We paid for the shuffle board for half an hour but jo the manager said its ours all night which was a added bonus will definitely be returning

Had a Christmas lunch there with work colleagues and it was an excellent meal. Service was really friendly and efficient. They had worked out a great system for paying, giving each of us a tab with a number which was excellent and made everything so much easier. The meal was delicious- I had turkey which was perfect, lovely veg and potatoes and yummy yorkshire puddings. Huge pig in blanket and bacon with the sprouts - couldn’t ask for more. Servings were very generous too. Will definitely go back again.

We enjoyed our meal here. Positives were the food was mostly very good, they sold Landlord ale, the free arcade machine which the kids absolutely loved. The only reason they lose a star is because the fish in the fish and chips was full of bones, which for deep fried fish is not something I've seen for many years and wasn't expected.

It's a nice pub, lovely, clearly popular. But make no mistake, this is not a gastopub. It's serves perfectly edible food, but the premier Inn over the road serves exactly the same quality. It's at that level. I'd happily return for drinks but would go elsewhere for food.

Visited here several times over the last few weeks for food and beer. All I can say is it is a great place with excellent drinks, and the food is amazing. You get good-sized portions and I have never had a meal yet that is short of excellent. The inside looks like it has been renovated recently and has that modern look but retaining a good level of charm. With a great atmosphere, this place is always my first choice when in the area. The staff and management are brilliant as well.
