Great place, food lovely dirty burgers, ploughman's and seafood bowl. Spacious restaurant, clean and staff friendly and attentive. Shelly helped us with local info after our meals regarding travelling into Great Yarmouth. Would recommend 👌 The dome ceiling is gorgeous aswell
Seated and served straight away, food was as always well cooked and very tasty - served today by Kata the manageress who was delightful and very friendly.

Had a great evening. Lots of lovely fresh food and great service from Christina and her colleagues. Would come again and would also recommend to friends and family.
We visit the Pig and Whistle as often as we can as we love the varied menus available and the food is never less than impeccable. There is always a warm welcome from the owners and the staff, and the atmosphere is always very comfortable. A perfect restaurant for special occasions or a romantic meal for two. Honestly cannot recommend it highly enough.

Had a delicious meal & really wanted to say a big thank you to the staff for being so kind and accommodating as we were delayed arriving by my mum ending up in A&E. She was happy to be discharged in time to enjoy her food! Staff fab. Food fantastic. 5 🌟
We have spent a week on the Broads eating in pubs most nights and this place was head and shoulders above the rest. The food is really good pub fare, well prepared and presented but most importantly the staff are happy to see the customers rather than treating us as an inconvenience. We had a great meal and an enjoyable evening
I had offered my oldest friend, whom I've known for 67 of my 71 years, three choices for an evening meal. Posh nosh, curry or fish and chips. As it turned out, his choice was inspired. I've never seen such an enormous fish and chip restaurant which, despite its size, feels quite intimate as the place is divided into four smaller rooms on two floors, with the kitchen area set on a mezzanine right in the middle.
The menu is as extensive as I have seen in a restaurant (also a takeaway) of this type. We decided to share a whitebait starter, which was excellent. Served with tartare sauce, the fish was fresh as fresh can be with a crispy batter. For mains, my friend opted for sea bass, while I had a skate wing. Served with a nice bowl of dressed salad and very nice chips, you can see why Fish Dish was going to be fully booked on the following Bank Holiday weekend. There's nothing pretentious about what they do. It's just good, honest, traditional British fish and chips (they also do burgers) done exceptionally well.
Thumbs up all round, especially as it was just a short walk from my home.
