Went to a charity event here last week for my fiends Hannah and the food was so delicious we decided to try a take away tonight. We wasn’t disappointed.. absolutely delicious.. best tikka masala we have ever had! All hot and tasty and super fast delivery. Definitely recommend

Lovely. Not particularly hot but tasty. Lukewarm. Maybe we were last on the delivery schedule. I’ll ask to be first next time or we won’t use them again.

Excellent service Jay, Rob and the crews service was really warm and welcoming. Hands down best indian in Bedford we had a Tikka mix grill chefs special garlic chilli chicken and lamb jalfrezi reasonably priced atmosphere great thumbs up from us. 👍🏼

The food and service is fantastic . I have eaten here several times and have take away most weekends. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Parking is ok lot's of parking near by. The best Indian restaurant in Bedford.

Disappointed that there wasn't veg with biryani. Looking back the menu does tell you but usually its normal for it to be included with dish. The menu asks you to order extra. It's not extra if you don't receive any. It's poor. Also wasn't hot but it's very cold out. Would expect better from Indian Summer. Although the food we did receive was nice we won't use this restaurant again.

Food arrived 10mins after ETA as the driver couldn't find the address nevertheless the food was delicious, piping hot and perfect. We loved the Saag Cheese dish and the King Prawn Jalfrezi. The Chicken Madras was a wee too hot for me but hubby and daughter loved it. The Chicken Balti I found a lil too sweet and had completely dyed my hands by the time I'd finished eating. But this is the second time we've ordered from here and it never fails to deliver! Highly recommend 🙌

Food was delivered on time, and was hot. However nan bread was doughy, and food was flavourless couldn't tell the difference between the mushroom bhaji, and dansak. Both were just spicy, but no flavour. Had to add salt, and never had to , to a curry before. Very very disappointing

Popadoms stale, near all over cooked and hard and for some reason quite sweet. A strange taste for me. Sorry

Best Curry in Bedford. Been going here since it was called Gulsahns many years ago. Absolutely gorgeous food and you can taste the freshness. Always my go to for a curry xx it was predicted for 5.35pm at 5.35pm I received a text from Justeat saying it would be late and 5 minutes later it was here. Lovely service.

Takeaway from here , first time. The food was tasty and quality meat / chicken. My family enjoyed it very much . We look forward to ordering again!

We ordered a family take away and I inadvertently ordered Keema rice instead of Keema nans. When I rang to report having received the wrong item in our order, the gentleman I spoke to was lovely and offered to have the nans delivered on another round. He didn't have to do that but I was very grateful. The meal was excellent and we thought the customer service was too, thank you.

Another delicious meal from here - today we went for something different, a vegetarian rogan and korai. One was Quorn which is great, very rare to have this as an option. Dal was really tasty as always, along with the mushroom rice and chilli nan. Will definitely be back.

Decided to try Indian Summer after reading the positive reviews and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food we received. There were three of us eating, I ordered the Chicken Tikka Biriani, my friends had the chicken razala and chicken tikka masala. We also had sides of cauliflower bhaji, bombay potato and mushroom rice. Everything was excellent, the only fault I could possibly highlight was the Bombay potato was very oily but when that was drained the taste was very good.

Always good food and service. Always on time or early. My go to for Indian food.

First time visiting Indian Summer really enjoyed the food. Good quality and delicious, don't understand why the place was not packed as very rarely can you find a good Indian restaurant. I owned an Indian restaurant 20 years ago hence I know what quality food is. Keep up the good work.

Paid for a drink and didn't get it.

Two of the three dishes were very flavoursome. One perfectly pleasant, but just a little too bland this time.

They always forget my salad when I order it but apart from that it is amazing and love the food from here. Please can you just remember my salad next time I order it!!! :)

Wouldn't recommend very over priced for what you get

Always like to order from this restaurant but on arrival the food was stone cold. Im sure its just an oversight as normally they are very good.

Always had good service but this time it was genuinely weird. I clicked 'order again' as I have before and for some reason it selected a prawn option instead of a chicken option. I didn't check because I expected it to be the same as the last order. Not sure what happened there but I definitely didn't pick prawn! My son wouldn't eat it so bit of a waste really

Missing onion bhaji although the dips were provided. The massalla had leaked so much it covered all the other food containers and around half was only left in the container. I have put in a refund request but as it does not allow me to add both of the things wrong with the order I have written here in the review. Would like massalla and bhajis refunded please.

Mixed grill lovely. Butter chicken a bit grim to be honest, swimming in weird pink, oddly flavoured sauce. Indian Summer a bit like that tbh, some brilliant dishes and some horrible howlers.

Poppadoms were stale (reheated), the naan was supposed to be cheese but was plain and the madras was watery and lacked taste. Will not use this restaurant again

Nice looking restaurants. Was otherwise empty but it was a nice quiet evening. The drinks were a bit disappointing, served a can of coke with a glass which I think needs improving. Waiters wasn’t very friendly, didn’t seem very happy. But won’t be reviewing badly cos of this as it’s just a person, not the main quality of the food. The poppadom sauces were nice, the mint sauce was too thick. The food was great. Would’ve been a perfect night if the waiters were more friendlier and approachable.

Used to be my favourite Indian but the last few times has been poor . Lack of flavour and poppadums are stale and not crunchy. Also last couple of times order had been late both times . Think I may have to switch

Tandoori chicken on the bone is so tasty! Everything else is always perfect as always

No curry with the biryani (veg rice tasted good though) and not much chicken in the korma. burnt nan's.

Went here last night and had an amazing night. Food was amazing as was the service. The waiter had good knowledge of the menu and we will definitely be back soon and reccomending to friends.

First time ordering from this restaurant as this was recommended to us. We ordered what we would usually have, however my partners rogan was very watery and had next To no flavour and the chicken was dry. On the plus side everything else was ok.
