Arrived to a warm and friendly welcome. Drinks order taken promptly and arrived soon after. We all had something different from the mains and it all arrived together after giving us ample time to enjoy our first round of drinks. The table was wonderfully set and spotless despite this being a busy and popular pub. The food was of an extremely high standard. The sea bass was delicious and succulent and was complemented by the fresh vegetables and the flavoursome sauce. It’s not often you see lemon bread pudding on the menu so this had to be tried. It was warm, sweet and delicious and went perfectly with pistachio ice cream. The best two courses I’ve had in years
. If you’ve not dined here before then what are you waiting for!? 😋❤️

This is definitely our favorite Türkiye restaurant! The food is absolutely fantastic, catering to a variety of dietary needs without compromising on flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a meal with friends.
On our latest visit, our server, Keci, went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional. His friendly demeanor and willingness to help made us feel welcomed and valued. Not only did he provide top-notch service, but he also took the time to teach me a few words in Türkçe, which added a personal touch to our meal.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Turkish cuisine and outstanding service. You won't be disappointed!

After a long amazing ride on my motorcycle on a beautiful sunny day I ended up on Elton village and stopped for lunch.
I never felt so unwelcome in my life. Especially a young waitress who was absolutely horrible and rude to me.
The food arrived rather quickly, that makes you wonder, but was nice. I just eat my food and left with a horrible feeling of being discriminated for some reasons. McDonald’s service is 100% better.
Do not recommend at all.
I’ve dined at this place multiple times and been a regular customer. The way I was treated today was appalling and is the final straw. I will never go there again.
The steaks were spoiled and the meat was stale.
When I complained the Manager Zara was extremely rude and unprofessional, refusing to accept the meat wasn’t up-to standard although my family and I have dined there many times. She gave us a new steak after insisting on getting a new piece and waiting half an hour which was significantly better proving the initial steak was off ; yet she refused to accept that it was spoilt and tried arguing with us about it! She then proceeded to accuse us of being RACIST! Which was incredibly rude and insulting as we’d never even mentioned race and I am of African descent. It was extremely accusatory and offensive to hear that from her. I’ve spent thousands at this restaurant and they’ll never hear from me again given how we were treated. Truly disappointed.
We spent a lot of money but got lousy food and service
The restaurant is also dirty and washrooms are filthy.
Never again to Steakout.
I will also complain to the authorities about this.
Efezade Mezze Grill is a true gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff, especially Ishmael, the owner's son, couldn't do enough to please us. Ishmael is a superb young man who truly understands customer service. The food was incredibly tasty, especially the mixed grill and chicken shish – absolutely delicious! The authentic Turkish flavors shine through in every dish, and the warm, inviting atmosphere makes for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable meal and top-notch service!

First time visiting this little pub, it was very busy which was good to see but very understaffed. Had to wait at least 20 mins to get served at the one bar as the other was closed. We left after one drink as decided not to have food there and the queue was out the door. If it's going to be a warm day then put more staff on.
Came for a meal with a group for a friend's baby shower. Cannot fault the meal, delicious roast, cooked fresh and good portion size.
However, the service was somewhat to be desired. I can excuse slow service on a Sunday when demand is high, but when servers/staff are rude, it's not acceptable. We had a waitress come over to our table and as she left she spoke to another waitress and put her fingers to her head (in a gun sign) and laughed, whether or not this was about our table, not professional at all. The lady who took our payment at the bar took the final payment from one of my friends, when my friend queried that there was something on there she hadn't ordered the lady said "that's not my problem." Terrible attitude.
Shout-out to the chef though who came out to check everything was ok food wise, he did an amazing job cooking for everyone when the pub was clearly, very busy.
Edit due to response:
"2 more people added" was 2 children, due to being let down by childcare, the table we were sat at was a bit of a squeeze for 16 adults so we simply asked if we could have 2 extra chairs, for adults and 1 highchair for one of the children as the other one was able to squeeze onto the bench, not a massive ask I would say!
I can appreciate things taking longer than anticipated during busy periods however, this was not communicated in any which way when it came to drink orders, in the end 1 drink didn't even turn up and we had to get our own tap water and cups.
I can vouch for everyone at the table that we were more than patient, and nothing but polite to your servers, even when they rolled their eyes at us and, as stated in my original review, gestures were made to one another.
It's disappointing to be left with a reply which takes little accountability, as stated previously, the food tasted incredible, it was just the way in which we were treated which left us with a sour taste.
So happy I visited this little gem as been searching for a restaurant that serves Tom Yum like in Thailand and was not disappointed!
I am from Thailand myself so finding authentic Thai food is not easy to find. Everything was lovely and we were given an above and beyond customer service allowing us to make a special request, making recommendations etc. Just brilliant!
P.S if you’re a tea lover, please try the Thai milk tea. Promise you won’t regret.
After being at Whipsnade Zoo all day we came here for dinner as a family, kids menu was great with options and they had a little park for the kids to play in before eating. We liked the atmosphere, everybody was really lovely and welcoming.
