This is a fabulous little restaurant. Food is simply first class, the ambience great, especially in the garden area and staff brilliant. Really made our anniversary treat.

A lovely little cafe and delicatessen not far from Cambridge station. A good selection on the menu and the food was delicious. Would particularly recommend the tiramisu and the cannoli/ yummy! A great spot to catch up with friends.

Went to this lovely restaurant as a group of 9. The service was fantastic, even when one of our group didn’t like the main dish that he’d ordered, the waiter noticed and replaced it with another dish free of charge. That is great service. The food was great home made Italian food, I’m a foodie and theirs is very good. Only 2 of our group wanted dessert and one ordered the pistachio tiramisu….. we all tried a mouthful!!! 3 more was ordered for the table to share, it was that good…… The only downside was the building works going on next door at 7pm on a Friday night….. really!!!! The staff were not happy and phoned the owner of the property. We will definitely return 👍🏻

Stopped in for a coffee and a snack and to buy some dely. It was a lovely day so sitting in the back under cover but light and airy was a delight. The waitresses were attentive and polite and my filled cibata was excellent. A great experience I would and have recommend. Parking can be tricky.

10/10 for everything. A warm day, sat outside for my Mum’s birthday, my Dad and our extended family. Service was spot on, in fact exceeded expectations. Staff always made sure we were happy, and acknowledged my mum‘s birthday celebration. The food was excellent, we shared starters. Burrata salad & truffle bruschetta, both delicious. We sampled a number of the pasta dishes, All excellent. Tiramisu to finish, but had to share it as a large portion (no complaints) . Couldn’t fault a thing. We will be back soon for my birthday 🎈

This is a gem of a restaurant! The service is quick, the ambience is wonderful and it is dog friendly! A restaurant always wins big points with me when they bring a bowl of water for our pup unprompted. I will certainly be back again in the future. 10/10

Was date night with the other half, first time being there and was served by Ben really handsome young lad bless him ( was his first shift too and he did amazing with taking our order and asking if we was okay and needed anything) honestly fantastic experience and amazing customer service from Ben and the Team. All of the servers are super friendly and will answer all of your questions you have! They are attentive and make sure you know you're cared for. The food is also reflected in their actitude. Awesome. You will leave full and happy and you better believe you will come back!

Lovely outdoor garden at back. Buffolo mozzarella starter highly recommended. Not so much of a fan of the extensive plastic enclosing the back garden. Good for those who want a nostalgic throwback to COVID though.

We stopped by for a late lunch. The garlic bread was awesome and the ciabatta nicely balanced with salad, mozzarella, pesto, ham, and tomatoes. The service staff were helpful and welcoming. The back patio is a nice, quiet oasis with greenery, lights, and music. Don’t forget the gelato for dessert! It was perfect.

The food is nice that the pizza is great. Risotto is also amazing :) however, it was quite shocking that we were forgotten by the restaurant: we were asked to wait for around 20 minutes to be seated, as there were 2 large groups having their meals, and we were a group of 5 (with one elderly). We totally understood that the restaurant is so nice that it would always be busy. However, after almost all the diners left, and we (including the elderly) had been waiting in the rain for 30+ minutes, and we came to the entrance hoping we could be seated in the almost-empty restaurant. Sadly, we were still being ignored. It was until I had to ask again firmly if we were being forgotten (which I didn’t mean to or want to), and the staff immediately seated us within 2 minutes. Not sure why we needed to wait in the rain for 30+ minutes, and guess we should have left much earlier as we had one hungry elderly waiting with us. Just shocked and I don’t think I would recommend this restaurant at all to my friends. Hope what happened to ours was just an accident, not their standard of service.

Six of us came for lunch on Sunday. A really good mix of foods and drinks. The 4 cheese pasta was a personal highlight along with the limcello spritz. Lovely rear garden with olive trees.

By far the best Italian place in Cambridge I’ve visited - for their pizza and pasta. Pizza are must haves! Thin and light wood fired base and crust edges that stays crispy and not soggy despite being left out for a while. You can taste the freshness of each toppings, especially the sweetness and tanginess of their tomatoes and marina sauce. The pairing pizza base sauce of marinara and white sauces were well seasoned and sauced in the perfect amount, which compliments and balances other ingredients and toppings perfectly. We only tried one pasta dish, but it left a good impression to predict other pasta dishes on the menu would taste equally good, or even better. Mafaldine pasta was cooked al dente, and the truffle béchamel mushroom and sausage sauce coated each strand of pasta. Seasoning is on point, rich taste from the truffle and bechamel but not too heavy. We finished 2 antipasti, 3 medium sized pizza and a pasta amongst 4 of us and didn’t feel too stuffed from the carbs, and even have enough room for 2 plates of tiramisu dessert. We had the regular tiramisu and pistachio tiramisu. Pistachio one was on the sweeter side but the pistachio flavour is distinct. If only have space for 1, recommend getting the regular tiramisu if not a huge fan of sweeter-than-usual desserts. All dishes were served in decent portion sizes and ingredients were not skimmed. High recommend, definitely my go to for Italian food. Shout out to all the staff members and Andrea who treated everyone with so much friendliness, kindness and so patiently went through the menu as a first comer. Great service despite a busy night. Very presentable dishes too!

A must visit cafe and restaurant in Mill Rd Cambridge with a vibrant student culture. It offers great food, snacks, and an extensive range of grocery items, including a range of cured meats and all the ingredients needed for that perfect Mediterranean dish.

Had the porcini mushroom pasta. It was great. The service was also stellar.

Came in for a quick lunch bite, ended up eating so much more. The lunch sandwiches were so delicious and full of flavor. The bread was amazing warm and fresh as well as the meats and cheese that were superb. We got the baked Camembert that was served on fresh ciabatta and was finger licking good. For dessert we got the tiramisu that was really good, light and full of espresso flavor. Would love to try them again for their pasta with fresh truffle for dinner on of the evenings. Great garden in the back that feels very cozy and comfortable even on a cold Cambridge day.

All of the menu options seemed delicious so it was difficult to choose. The lobster ravioli was so delicious that we had to ask for extra bread for extra enjoyment. There is ambient music and a nice lighting which provides for a cosy dinner atmosphere.

The place is quite small inside but there are outdoor spaces. The menu is not extensive to start with but when we started to choose what we were going to have we were told half the menu was not available that night must say we were very disappointed that left us with very little choice The desserts were to die for

Simply a marvellous restaurant! My girlfriend and I went here for our anniversary dinner hoping for a romantic night out and limoncello delivered superbly. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud with lovely twinkle lights which made for nice photos. The food was excellent, I had a delicious vegetable lasagna and she had the pea and mint ravioli, alongside wonderful foccacia, all of which was incredibly well made. For dessert, we shared the limoncello tiramisu, which I cannot recommend enough. The service was also good and all of the wait staff were friendly and attentive.

After reading the reviews we were very excited to come here. Myself and my partner had the Ragu, it was completely tasteless with no seasoning and we were left very disappointed with the main, the side salad was also very sad - just a few leaves with dressing thrown on. We did give feedback on the main with a response 'O, was the bread okay?'. To be fair the bread was at least nice.

We didn’t set off to eat here, but our first choice seemed pretty sketchy. We’d walked past this place and then returned, and am glad we did. It was fantastic. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. I ordered the spinach ravioli, but instead of the pesto sauce I had it with the beef ragu. It was perfect - the pasta was cooked perfectly and the ragu didn’t overwhelm the pasta. For desert, I went with the limoncello affogato (vanilla gelato with Italian limoncello liquor). Not a pairing I would have thought of but it worked.

What a great find - disappointed I haven't experienced this place earlier! The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly (Esse in particular is a highlight) and the food, drinks and atmosphere were all amazing. I had this incredible blueberry cocktail I can't remember the exact name of sadly, but wow! Definitely coming back ASAP.

Really lovely gem of an Italian restaurant. Pumpkin gnocchi was gorgeous. They don’t have too many options on the menu but adds to the charm! The service is quite slow though. Would say some options are on the pricey side though.

Delicious dishes! The pastas are a personal favorite but they're all fabulous! Very nice staff as well. Also it is dog friendly which is incredibly wonderful to me! We sat in the outside garden which has a lovely atmosphere but the interior is great as well!

We arrived really late, as we had been to the cinema. They kept our table open for us. Pizzas were lovely but we did feel a little pressured to finish. There was one other table there so the atmosphere was OK but a little quiet. We will certainly return, but will try to go at a more normal time when I think the atmosphere would be great.

We had a meal for four and, overall, were rather disappointed. While the food was fine, it was all rather overpriced and we had expected better. Pizzas were overpriced, and, while OK, were nothing special. The only wine under £30 was not available, and the wine we chose must have had a 400% mark up. We ended up with a bill which we would expect for a decent three course meal, when, in fact we only had four mains (pasta, risottos and a pizza,) two side salads and two desserts - all fine, but unexceptional. Don't normally post reviews like this, but felt a bit ripped off. A shame, as it looked like a great place.

Absolutely loved my quattro stagioni pizza. This is my go to and it was beautifully done. Crispy crust and generous ham, olives and, most importantly, artichokes. Delicious. Lovely service and a great limoncello spritz. I've only knocked a star off because I think this place will have to be saved for special occasions - 17.50 for a QS pizza is about £3 too much in my opinion and compared to other places.

A relaxing cafe with a huge variety of Italian food. Had a ciabatta which was delicious. Staff extremely friendly. A lovely young lady I didn’t catch her name and a real gentleman called Esse. Great place would recommend.

Have been here loads of times, always had good food and always had a friendly welcome. Homemade pasta and risotto were really tasty.

Nice but very very slow service

It is one closet Italian place to me. We ordered four cheese pizza - I cannot taste much of Gorgonzola and fontina. With the price tags of £18, it was disappointing as it’s one of the classics that hardly goes wrong.

Please go and eat here. Best pasta I have had in a very long time - including in Rome, Puglia, Naples, Milan, Capri, Florence and the Dolomites. I wanted a nice pasta meal for my mum's birthday but found the options to be limited in Cambridge - it seems like most places are pizzerias, not Italian. After 45 minutes of looking at menus online, I picked Limoncello because they had a sausage and truffle pasta on the menu, two things my mum loves. I didn't have very high expectations when I walked in - it looked like local deli. But we got the sausage and truffle pasta, the pumpkin gnocchi and two nice glasses of wine and Christ alive, when the food came, I ate my words (and the pasta). It was absolutely spectacular. I want to bring the chef back to London and put him up in my spare room. Go eat their pasta. 5 stars.

Have been here once before and really loved it. Had the truffle Risotto which was absolutely fantastic albeit diminutive in portion size . Went again last night and unfortunately had a really poor experience. -We were placed outside in the cold and had to go and find the waitress after 15-20 mins without our order being taken -Ordered hot chocolates to warm up and it very quickly appeared that these were just water and instant powder, which is quite disappointing given the price. - Had the Margherita pizza for a main which might as well have been bought from the co-op over the road. The manager told us the the dough is made every 3-4days so likely frozen and reheated. Tasted fine but again hard to appreciate given the price and was left still very hungry. Fortunately we were kindly offered free limoncello shots for our troubles and our friend had the lasagna which looked and tasted absolutely brilliant. This is a super place to have pasta but we were left really underwhelmed by everything else. Ended up having some chicken goujons next door to satisfy my remaining hunger.

Great pasta - fab atmosphere. We had salads, three different pastas - rigatoni, gnocchi, lasagne. All superbly prepared and delicious, combined with fab Sicilian wine. Tiramisu to die for. Best Italian in Cambridge!

Delicious and authentic Italian food just a 15 minute walk from the city centre. Delicious pasta (especially the truffle tagliatelle), gorgeous atmosphere (inside is a cute deli feel, outside is a romantic hideaway beneath fairy lights, heat lamps, and blankets!). The tiramisu is exquisite. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. And the perk is that it is dog friendly! Will definitely return on our next trip to Cambridge!

I assume the 5 star reviews are from people foolish enough to leave them for free shots of limoncello Overpriced place was definetely not the best. I really cannot recommend anything from the menu. Been to Italy and to many different culinary restaurants. Regret my choice of a restaurant.

Loved this restaurant! Servers were very friendly and food was yummy I got a vegan pizza with vegetables and it was really nice. My boyfriend got the ragú and loved it. They have a nice wine section. We sat in the garden which has heaters and cute fairy lights for a romantic setting :)

Where else to go for our annual Christmas get together? This gem on mill road serves wonderful food and drinks in a fantastic setting. We had the outdoor space to ourselves, which was warm and beautifully decorated! We'll come back.
