One night stay before a track day, the room was good with plenty of space and good facilities. Looks like a good restaurant and plenty of parking The only issue is it's a bit noisy as it's next to the dual carriageway

Really good food and good service. It was very busy so we grabbed a table in the outside bit which is right next to a pretty noisy road but still nice with all the flowers planted outside. I would definitely recommend booking on a weekend

This is a nice find, great surroundings and amazing food I really recommended the sunday lunch which was faultless. Great coffee lounge & brasserie to relax in after a nice meal, found both the atmosphere and the service to be outstanding.

Well obviously I will be a bit biased, As I used to be the first housekeeper at the lodge, When it first opened in the early 80s,I lived in the village of Great Ellingham ,I went there last Saturday with my daughter, for something to eat, My first visit in over 30 odd years,The place is lovely and clean, Great menu, they have excellent coffee, tea, Smashing selection of homemade cakes fresh juice, scones ect ect, The prices are good ,Great restaurant menu, Staff so very nice,Which makes all the difference, nice and chatty, Seating is comfortable, Nice and airy, Great place to stay for a night or 2, as not far from Norwich, and Market town of Attleborough, Snetterton race track ect ect,Yes I truly recommend this place for family occasions, special events, or just enjoy the ambiance of the Breckland Lodge.

Visited on a Saturday evening for a carvery. Fast and friendly service in the bar and restaurant. Carvery is available 7 days a week in the evening. Not only the traditional meats but also sausages, stuffing, beef stew, and other meat dishes. Was all cooked to perfection. We definitely will be returning!

Fantastic carvery and lovely staff, they were busy but still very attentive - choice of 3 meats and plenty of veg etc Ghost ship was exactly as expected and also had Doombar on offer first time here but I’ll definitely be back - kudos to all the staff

Nice, clean and presentable cafe. Menu not pretentious. Food tasty and not over priced. Staff friendly and efficient.

We used this pub for dinner a couple of times whilst staying at Cley windmill. Bit of a query one evening when I'd phoned to book & the girl behind the bar couldn't find the booking. Her attitude was poor - made it quite clear she thought I was a liar! Not great. Hence 4 stars not 5. Fortunately however, they have the good sense to employ another member of staff who is exceptional. (Tall young man with glasses, moustache & baseball cap). Couldn't fault him or any of the food which was all lovely & reasonably priced for a holiday area.

Greeted by 3 very happy and friendly ladies. Ordered a Latte and sausage roll which was heated for me and bought to my table. Coffee was lovely and the sausage roll very tasty. Will be back to try one of the cakes which looked yummy.
