The King’s Cafe in Breckland

Service was slow but friendly. Food was good on some aspects but most was overdone and the tomato sauce was so vinegary. It's was generally an okay visit but don't think I'd rush back unfortunately 😔.

The cheapest but one of the best coffees I've had in the UK! Husband and I had the delux English breakfast which was great value for money, generous portion and delicious! A gem of a cafe, definitely recommend.

The young lady was rushed off her feet doing all the work on the cafe floor, taking orders service and cleaning, and was very busy . She handled pressure quite well considering .food was great very hot and fresh, and great selection on the menu and very accommodating with a slight adjustment to a dish . Will return

This place delivers with amazing food. We always enjoy our meal. It just needs a good clean. 3 star hygiene rating and it shows.

First time we visited for breakfast, very pleasant staff... I'm guessing one was the owner who was so lovely.food was excellent. Would definitely go again and would highly recommend.

First visit, good reasonably priced breakfast.

We really enjoyed our trip to the kings cafe. The staff were extremely friendly, and courteous. They got our dog water and were extremely nice. We both had the full English breakfast and lattes. It was a really nice place for Sunday breakfast. We will be back for sure!

Lovely little place with a great selection of food options; portions were good and the milkshakes were fab. The staff were the shining light of this experience, really lovely girls. I would have rated 4.5/5, but the tech needs to be modernised i.e. took a while to pay at the end as it was an ancient till/the use of a calculator. It just didn't match the rest of the good experience :)

Lovely little cafe with great food

Service a little slow but a young girl who only started that week kept on top and did a grand job. I told her to go see her boss and get a raise.

Nice bit of carrot cake and coffee on a cycle ride, garden looks good sat out the front this time, but will venture round the back next time. Inside was clean and tidy, staff very friendly even with a mask on!!😃

Worst coffee drink ever. I'm calling it "coffee drink" because it's not a coffe and not even americano. I know English people they aren't coffee drinkers, they like drink by pints, " English americano" esspresso with lots lots of water. But this coffe drink was even worst, it was horrible. It was like rinsed used coffee filter and that water was given to me. Fehh.. Had to spil it away. Money for nothing, for flavored water.

Its was ok. Clean enough, food was reasonable quality and cooked well. Certain areas need a good spruce up. Might give it a second try soon.

Situated on the road out of Shipdham towards Dereham, this establishment looks like a former pub, now a cafe open all day. We stopped here for breakfast last week. It is a 'no frills' cafe, serving good food at very reasonable prices. We had an excellent full English, with service being friendly and helpful. I recommend this cafe very highly.

BWTG booked lunch for 13 hungry walkers. The selection of food on the menu and the specials board was wide and good. The food was all freshly cooked and piping hot. The prices are very reasonable.The service was friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. Thank you very much, Ali.

Big car park out side, deep gravel so not to sure if its wheelchair friendly. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Didn't get to the bar before i was asked to, take a seat and what i would like to order. I was seen to straight away, as soon as i popped my head round the door. Which is nice, for me anyway. I came in to try out there "take out" full English breakfast. Well i didn't have to wait long before my food arrived. It came in a big polystyrene food box with plastic knife and fork. Very hot and a very generous portions. I ordered two of these, one for me and my girlfriend and it came to less then £10. While I was waiting, i was looking at all the old village photos on the walls. back before and during the second world war. I didn't know that village had an airfield with watton airfield down the road less then 9 miles away. Both are bomber command. You learn something new every day. Highly recommended.
