Popped in for a quick drink while waiting for friends. All good, no complaints. Friendly staff and clean toilets.

A group of 6 friends. 3 Mums celebrating our Daughters 30th birthdays this year in Watford. We enjoyed our bottomless evening brunch. Lovely food, flowing drinks , fun and laughter. Our hostess Leah was brilliant. Friendly and great customer service. Thank you Leah!

We had bottomless brunch at Watford S&L and had the best time! Our slot was 2-4 and definitely got our money's worth! Our hostess Leanne was amazing! She was very helpful and the service was very quick!! She made our experience the best! Would definitely book to do bottomless brunch again :))

Was served by Michael and Niamh, they were exceptional, very warm and welcoming. They smiled as soon as I walked in the door and made me feel instantly comfortable. I asked for recommendations on cocktails and they were both extremely knowledgeable. Couldn’t fault their service or their attitude, will definitely be returning. ❤️

We came to the cafe at 11 am today. No one greeted us, even when they saw us they didn’t even say hello. I was with my three-year-old daughter. I got the impression that to them we did not look like clients who would spend a lot of money. From the very beginning it was biased. Although I was with a child, the waiter did not bring us a children's menu. I had to ask myself. We waited until they brought us pancakes from the children's menu, where it says that they come with caramel, berries and marshmallow. Waiter brought us just two pancakes only with caramel. I want to insist that they were inedible. I am attaching a video of what kind of oak wooden pancakes they brought us. Do you think this is normal? Would you feed your children this way? They added marshmallow and strawberries to us only after I pointed this out to the waiter. I have an extremely !!!! negative assessment of this establishment and its staff. I would gladly return the money for this visit to your cafe.

Place was completely empty. Staff seemed disinterested. Ordered using the app, only to be told that almost everything I ordered, over 3 times, is out of stock, and was being offered cheap replacements. Ended up settling for a simple burger which was very poorly made and dry. The app was not updating stock, staff were not busy yet slow to respond. Would avoid.

The name of the venue is the slug and lettuce,, aha but they haven't capitalised on the full content of the drinks .. can i suggest the ant frozen in the ice

OK, so we we the first ones to arrive so it was empty. Not much atmosphere. Table wonky, not a problem. Dirty chairs. We can deal with that. Two parties receiving their lunch before us, we also ordered first, not a big deal. Food arriving over 40 minutes later, cold and dried out, unforgivable. Then had to wait another 5 minutes for mayonnaise. So not impressed. My apologies to the chef. If your servers had done their job correctly your food might have scored higher. I will not be back.

I went on Friday and really enjoyed the place. Great atmosphere. All the staff were amazing. The security team were excellent helpful and friendly and keeping everyone safe.

Spent a few hours in here having drinks. Staff were great and the music was good, Enjoyed my night.

Awful experience, awful place, awful service. Booked for my birthday party with 9 guests. Paid £20 to reserve a table. The table was awful, dirty and sticky. no place settings or anything resembling a Birthday party table. There was also someone sitting at the table when we arrived. Why did I reserve a table which was clearly not even ready or clean? Disgraceful. Service was dreadful, food and drinks were ordered which never arrived, and food did not come out at the same time, whilst one finished eating, another had only just got their food! My food arrived (after complaining) when everyone had finished eating and their plates cleared! Scampi, fries (run out of regular fries only sweet potato fries) peas were rock hard and inedible. There were plenty of staff, but no one seem to have a clue. The music was deafening for a restaurant, I'd expect the music to be louder later in the evening. We couldn't speak to each other without shouting. We left early despite initially booking this place expecting to have a nice meal, and to enjoy the rest of the evening with some dancing. Will never return. I will be making a complaint and expecting a refund for my deposit.

Went for a hen party bottomless brunch on the weekend. 25 of us. Pre ordered food. All food was staggered but not just staggered, people had finished before others were starting. The full English breakfasts were cold. We were almost 2 hours in and everyone had finished and had their plates cleared before the bride got her eggs and when my pancakes came. Don’t pick the pancakes in the brunch deal. Absolutely not worth it. Tiny. Service was good otherwise but we were told they only had 1 chef - don’t try and cater for such a big party if you only have one chef!

Popped in for lunch, and we were both disappointed with the food. I had steak foccacia the steak was mostly fat & unpleasant to eat & the bread was soggy so couldn't pick it up my wife's food was just as bad!!

Presley was our server and she was super sweet and welcoming. 10/10 for everything especially the service :)

If I could give 0 stars I would. Booked for my 21st birthday. The food took far too long to come out, the drinks never came out. And we had to get our own cutlery from the draw. Worst place I have ever eaten

Hello slug and Lettuce watford!! They do cocktails differently here! Andre is a treat and a hell of a cocktail maker! Absolutely delivered every time and service was on point. Definitely coming back

25 min wait for one brownie and ice cream desert. Drinks ordered from the app don’t come to table, had to go up to bar to get them after waiting ages. The whole experience here was like watching a slug eating lettuce.

Pretty decent pricing and good selection of drinks. Atmosphere is nice, although very very noisy (having any form of conversation is hard). Staff were mostly nice, although one staff member was a bit short tempered when we accidentally sat at a table we didn't know was reserved, and sounded angry at us for a mistake.

Wine bar, nothing special and service is not so great.

I seemed to be racially profiled for a search in a near empty pub, when I saw other patrons entering for the 1st time no search was conducted,in fact there seemed to be confusion amongst security as to whether a search is needed! The only difference between the other patrons and I was race, the bar staff were nice enough, but then the security coming to interrupt my conversation not once but twice in order to tell me to finish my drink I had paid for 5mins prior wasn't nice, I had been there for less than 10mins, the website says they close at 12.30am the time I arrived was 11.45pm if it was near closing why allow us in? Why did security stand there watching me to see if I was drinking or not, the second time they did it I let them know I was actually leaving whether I finish my drink or not is not for them to decide, I'll never visit this place again, its obvious there was an issue and if a place says it closes at 12.30 on their website I assume that to be the time not 30mins earlier if that be the case then update your times on Google its not hard and takes 5mins

I was there for a company night. All suddenly the security guy imattacked the a guy seated in a table outside just because he said “I go toilet can you keep an eye on my drink.” The violence they took him away and punch and kick him was not necessary at all. I went there to try to calm them down and they were so aggressive even to me. A disgusting management and disgusting security

Security behaviour last night was unacceptable. They attack a guy drinking on the table outside for no reason. Really disgusting

So called manager in charge , some kid who doesn’t know how to talk to people, arrogant and very unprofessional. First time I went to this place and that would be my last . Was planing to book a Christmas drinks there but after the treatment by him I think not . Whoever owns the place , get rid of the manger . Very disappointed

Went for the two hour bottomless deal between 6 and 8 pm. I had the chicken burger and it was delicious, very tender. No complaints from our party about the food. The drinks kept flowing, our server Amy was exceptional, very friendly and went beyond for us. She found us seats when our 2 hours were up, not easy 2 weeks before Christmas. Music was a great mix and overall a wonderful experience. Thank you again Amy, you were a ⭐.
