Slug & Lettuce in Watford

We came for drinks on a Monday evening, Sienna and Georgia were very welcoming and they made fantastic cocktails. We had the Zombie and Pina Coladas on the 241 offer. Great start to the week!! Thank you! We didn’t have food so can’t comment on this.

Conor was an incredible server!! Very helpful and kept the drinks coming. Loved the selection, would definitely come again! Paul was also a lot of help!

Came to celebrate my 23rd birthday and couldn’t fault the service from Steven and Charles who made the drinks. Steven is a proper legend, he has the same name as belles dad. Would defo recommend coming back for a bottomless brunch or dinner or even a lunch date

Steven and Charles were super attentive. Even when we were late we were still able to do our full two hours on the bottomless brunch, and the food was very tasty and a perfect portion size!

Fabulous place! My friend and I enjoyed shared tapas, which were very filling and tasty. The cocktails are 2-for-1, and the staff, especially Daniel, was invaluable and professional.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! The cosy and inviting interior makes it perfect for groups, couples, or even a solo outing. The starters and cocktails were absolutely delicious, and Daniel provided excellent service, ensuring we were happy with everything. It was my first visit, but definitely won’t be my last!

Went for an evening bottomless brunch at your venue and it was amazing, the food and drinks were delicious and were catered to our needs. Our server GRACIE was absolutely amazing. She made our experience so good, she was so kind, lovely and made our time there amazing. I am 100% going back for the level of professionalism and care that GRACIE provided.

Opened beyond stated hours, security wouldn't let me in even though I was sober because "security had radioed not to" obvious discrimination.

Atmosphere is great. Bottomless brunch was so lovely, the music really makes it along with the food. Charles and Georgia were so nice and friendly, I felt so welcomed. As someone who works in hospitality, their customer service is impeccable. Great time, really recommend!

Went for an afternoon bottomless brunch our server Michael was lovely and very polite. Overall, a very nice experience.

The staff was kind and attentive. We had the bottomless brunch which is a good price for the time you're there and the food you can have. Weirdly the desert came out the same time as the mains which was odd, meaning the melty pancakes didn't have the desired effect or heat by the time we ate them, but the food was tasty and the cocktails well made.. we never reached the bottom without a new one waiting 👍🏼 9/10

Bottomless brunch here on a Saturday night. Service was fab, they were very attentive and never had to wait for a drink. Food, drink, DJ, good service and friendly waiting staff. What more could you want!

It was my birthday and Sienna was our server. She was attentive, polite and cheerful. We was on the evening bottomless brunch and she kept our drinks coming. I even had a complimentary bottle of Prosecco. Great evening. Going back next weekend with a friend.

The presentation of the establishment is very nice - modern and cosy. Slug & lettuce do a good selection of food and drink - both alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails. I only tried the starters and they were delicious. The service was good. The only issue I had was with the promise of a free cocktail and the app didn't work properly.

Nice Slug and Lettuce, but please start to clean your lines, not everyone wants to drink cocktails and prefer a nice draught beer but your lines are rank. From a fellow publican, they are not being maintained hence it tastes like rubbish. Sent back to bar. Kind barman did change but managers need to maintain upkeep of beers. It's 2025 ! Some of us want craft beers on draught kept well. 😞

Don't come for a draught beer as they don't clean their lines!

I first came into the slug and lettuce on an off chance in 2024, and fell in love with the place. It has amazing food and a great selection of drinks. The staff are great, and I'd give a special compliment to gracie who is an amazing mixologist

It felt like they genuinely cared about making the experience enjoyable. Overall, Slug and Lettuce is a great place for a casual meal, celebratory drinks, or even just a catch-up with friends. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Came for my nieces 18th Birthday for a brunch and had a fabulous time! We were very well looked after by Steven, Gracie & Seb made us yummy food! We had Gracie as our waitress and she was so lovely and attentive! We had consistent drinks and good was yummy. Only have the atmosphere as a 3 star as it was really empty.

Very lively atmosphere with great music. Sienna was serving us and she was so lovely and very attentive. Only thing is the food we ordered was a bit salty but wasn’t bad enough to not enjoy it.

It was a quiet Thursday night but it was our works do and sienna and Emma and the team made it great fun, we had lots of food and drinks and enjoyed dancing, we go here every year and out of the lady 3 years this was the best one

Visited today for the Pop Punk themed bottomless brunch. Atmosphere was great, playlist was top tier, but most of all Penzy gave THE BEST service, she was so smiley and friendly every time she approached us, she managed our expectations by explaining the bar was busy, but always made she took our next order before our glasses were empty so we were never long without a drink. Would definitely recommend, as long as Penzy is working of course!!
