Great restaurant! My favourite local restaurant. Food & service always outstanding. Always a great variety of specials, that are hard o find elsewhere.

Such a warm cafe with wonderful and friendly staff. The food does not disappoint, fresh and tasty pastries, sandwiches, pizza. You name it. I highly recommend if you’re in town. Pizza was truly incredibly and so fresh, ingredients were such high quality and the coffee is freshly ground for every order, you can taste the difference. Definitely the best restaurant around

Fabulous food and service. We were surprised it wasn’t busier. Brilliant value for money. This is a hidden gem needs to be discovered.

I found a couple of treasures here. A beautiful azalea and a handsome little pine tree. It's a shame the cafe ran out of decaff coffee and I had to ask for extra butter for my teacakes. At £4.50 I expect two for the top and two for the bottom, but two jams was very generous. I only needed one of them. I will return for the plants sometime.

Just had another lovely experience at the Cock Hemingford Grey . The staff ,service and atmosphere once again was exceptional not to mention the food . Keep it up guys and thank you !

Less choice of food than when we came last summer but appreciate this may change later as is only May. Enjoyed our Thai meals, beer, music and general atmosphere and would recommend for a different experience.

Eating here 3-4 times a year for past 5 years+. Never had cause to complain...BUT had the burger....sorry to say....NO TASTE WHAT SO EVER....& VERY VERY GREASY....TOOK THE 2 BURGERS OUT OF THE ROLL....SHOCKED AT WHAT I WAS LOOKED AT....please please THE SHIP...who ever making these burgers......THINK AGAIN....hopefully this was a one off.Service as always perfect

After reading the incredible reviews on here about this restaurant we were very excited but were left extremely disappointed. We ordered dough balls and olives to start. The dough balls arrived more like miniature buns, with a side a garlic butter which appeared to be dropped from a great height. The appearance left a lot to be desired considering the price. The olives were straight from a jar; not fresh at all and were swimming in brine. Again appearance was a lot to be desired with cocktail sticks dumped in the bowl alongside. For mains we had two pizzas, a gnocchi and Arabiatta. The dough for the pizza was quite salty but it had a good taste. The one with caramelised onion was far too overpowering and one of our group was immediately sick from it. He decided not to mention this as it just didn’t agree with him; we shared out his meal instead. The gnocchi was too tough and not the fluffy pillows you’d be expecting from an authentic Italian restaurant and the Arabiatta was comparable to freeze dried penne pasta a tin of tomatoes run through it (and not even a good jar). It was very disappointing indeed. The inside of the restaurant was very outdated; they still had plastic screens as a throwback to Covid and when moved (as they were too close to be able to comfortably get to the toilet) showed extreme dirt on the floor. The toilets were of a similar nature too. Really disgraceful for the price you were spending on a meal. We didn’t complain at the time due to being with friends who recommended the restaurant. I hope you are able to make some changes and at the very least remove the ridiculous screens and give the floor a good scrub.

Eat here often. Staff are friendly and food is excellent. Never experienced any of the problems that some negative reviewers have but have seen the staff deal brilliantly with drunk, abusive people

Set in a stunning location the Waterfront had been highly recommended to us and after a few times of trying to get a reservation that suited us. It is busy and booked in advance for a very good reason. It exceeded our expectations by some considerable distance. All I can say is Wow. The food was incredible, service was attentive not pushy and the atmosphere was friendly and calm. I would highly recommend a visit. We will be back very soon.

What an amazing restaurant. From the minute we walked in we loved it. Very attentive waiter and food was to die for. I had the best Strawberry Daquari I have ever tasted. The music was authentic and it took me back to my holidays in Icmeler. I would give this resturant 5 stars and we will definitely be going back for more. First class

Americano is not Americano, terrible taste, almost worse I have ever had. Only atmosphere is good here.
