Food tastes good and the atmosphere was nice. A small group of us went early evening and enjoyed our visit. 1 thing to improve on. Staff need more comprehensive menu training as we had to translate some menu items into English as we got blank looks when using the menu names for the dishes.

My wife and I ordered from the lunch menu. The food was very tasty and was served nice and hot. The lunch deal is certainly value for money. Service was great, too! We definitely recommend this place and will certainly be back when visiting Peterborough.

Lovely food, great prices, couldn't fault!

Edited for today's visit. I wanted to order my favourite pizza from the lunch menu, to come with chips, under the half pizza and chips offer. Was told I couldn't. Was told I'd have to order a whole pizza and be charged half. Wasn't very impressed when the table after us did the same - and the exact same waitress allowed them to order a pizza not on the lunch menu! Why is it one rule for me and another for them? Used to be my favourite place.

Stopped in for some lunch with family and were seated straight away. Ordered bee sting pizza and the chicken sandwich with chips and a salad. The food was really good and the service was amazing, will definitely go again and see what else the menu has to offer.

Two of our group ordered pizza which was fine two ordered carbonara which was almost a child’s portion and luke warm. Also were not allowed to use free drinks coupons as was ordering off lunch time menu. Always been able to use before. Have been going here a long time but won’t be attending again.

Went to Pizza parlour for a meal for my stag do on 15th June. the food choice suited all attending and was excellent. what can I say amazing experience, amazing staff, very welcoming, first time visiting pizza parlour, would definitely recommend. Huge thank you to all the staff.

Went on a Saturday afternoon about 3pm. Food was good as always. However, we waited about 40 minutes for the food to arrive. Apart from that it was very enjoyable.

I have been trying to get a table on a Saturday evening for ages but it always fully booked and now I know why, managed to get a table last Saturday and we really enjoyed the Food, staff were great and the place had a lovely vibe. Looking forward to our next visit and trying some other dishes.

This used to be my favourite restaurant in Peterborough. Since the menu change it has just gone down hill. Service is slow and poor. Appreciate they are just young girls but it’s as if they’re working for a chain (don’t care) rather than an independent. Slow, forgetful and vacant. Olives I’m sure were the left overs from other people that day gathered and given to us as a nice gesture. Pizza forgot the toppings so just fried up and stuck on top. Pasta, was it even fresh or from tesco’s and the sauce from a jar? Chips I’m pretty sure are also frozen. No offer of condiments or refills of drinks. If your Italian stay clear! You will be offended! If you are 13 years old going on a date go for it! Not for foodies or anyone who likes independent restaurants. What happened? So disappointed 😞

We really like the pizza. We come here with family quite often for lunch deal and although busy restaurant, the service remains great. Young people working there do great job at customer service compared to some places. And of course huge compliments to the chef 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳

Went here yesterday (15/02/24) for lunch with a friend and I was very impressed with everything! We were the first 2 people in and were attended to quickly. The 2 waitresses were friendly, respectful and well dressed. You could see the kitchen staff were working hard to prepare for lunch. The decor was nice and I don't remember hearing any music or anything which might be a negative for some people, but for us it was ideal as we were talking and catching up anyway. The lunch menu is unbelievably good value for a 12" pizza was only £7.50 and I have a huge appetite and it was perfect for me. We both opted for the Piccante pizza with pepperoni and chillies. The food came to us very quickly. And we were attended to by both waitresses during our lunch to ensure everything was up to our liking. Without a doubt the best pizza I have eaten locally and perhaps even the best pizza I have ever eaten full stop. As the lunch started to get busier you could see that all the customers were being dealt with quickly and effectively I will for sure be coming back to this place again and recommending it to anyone who asks.

This is without a doubt the best Italian in Peterborough. Where else can you go around the UK and get outstanding pizza/pasta and chips for £6.50 and it taste incredible??? (Lunch menu) the prices are so fair and it’s always packed. Atmosphere is great they really have this restaurant down to a T! Have been coming here for years and will always return. Sadly had to visit pizza house next door last weekend but their food wasn’t anywhere near as good! Real good quality Italian food here, cannot recommend enough. There’s reason this place is packed even on Sunday lunch !!

It was lunchtime, just the perfect moment to take a break from the daily hustle and bustle, and I decided to treat my girlfriend to some scrumptious pizza. And let me tell you, I was in for a treat! Right from the get-go, as we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with the warmest welcome by a lady named Natalia. Now, she's not your run-of-the-mill restaurant staff – no, no – she's truly a cut above. Natalia exuded such passion and enthusiasm; it was abundantly clear that for her, The Pizza Parlour isn't just a workplace, it's a stage for her art of hospitality. She's an absolute legend, I tell you, a shining beacon of service and a testament to the spirit of the place. But wait, it gets better! The food, oh the food, it was absolutely amazing. Every bite seemed to sing with authentic Italian flavors, the crust perfectly baked, the toppings generously and thoughtfully laid out – just divine. And to think that such quality came at such a great price; it's almost unheard of! Now, let's talk about the ambiance. Cleanliness? Check. It was spotless, and you could tell that the owners take great pride in maintaining a hygienic and inviting environment. And staff? The atmosphere was very nice, good music however the service by the Second Lady was not the best quite rude, the pizza was warm not hot and didn’t seem fresh

Love this one! Really good pizza and v interesting cocktails incl good selection of virgin ones for the kids.

The music and staff are very fun. Unfortunately the dough on the pizza was quite thick and chewy, no crispy dough, and the pizza was so oily, you can see the bottom of the pizza box is covered in it, and the dough in the crust is pale. Tricolore salad was subpar, thick cut onion, a few bits of mozzarella and lots of thickly cut tomatoes

Saturday evening visit. Four great pizzas, a couple of sides and drinks all round. Our server Klaudia was very good with us, taking our orders with special requests and checking everything was ok during our visit. All the food was great tasting with good quality ingredients. We would all recommend coming here.

Unfortunately, I didn't think I would ever get here to leave this thing here. I want to tell you that I thought a lot about whether I should write all this because I visit this place quite often and it was my favorite. I recently moved to the city and visit this place at least 20-25 times with all my guests. The staff has always been very polite and kind, but today I had the feeling that I was somewhere else, for a moment I thought that even the owners of the pizzeria had changed. And so essentially. It all started after the long walk, my wife and I decided to eat a delicious pizza together with our guests, again as is the tradition in our former favorite pizzeria, everything seemed normal until the moment we went inside. There we were met by a sullen lady who, seeing 4 adults and 2 children, was clearly not pleased that there would be customers in the late afternoon. We had to repeat the order more than 4 times. After that, I decided that everything was fine, but the waiter continued to behave rudely and arrogantly, by the way, I would like to emphasize that this is the first time this is happening there, she stood behind the bar and started looking at us and discussing with her colleague and constantly looked at me and it was disgusting. I decided to ignore this and enjoy the time and wait for the nice pizza that was being prepared in the kitchen, but in the end the whole order was messed up, one huge pizza and one normal one, we got 5 pizzas, at first we were confused, then we put up, I was expecting something a reduction or at least an apology, but we didn't get either of the two, on the contrary, in short, I was cleverly chosen by them. Well, finally, in short, I hope the owners of this establishment check their staff before hiring them, because I had the feeling that this woman was not sober. We seated at quarter to five. The service was more than very, very bad!!! Firstly, the waiter was very rude. She got the order wrong and gave us absolute different food, then we ordered. She didn't understand us what exactly we ordered! We spend 150£!!! We didn't even finish the food, that's why we told the waiter to prepare the pizzas for home because the pizzas were more than enough!!! Because of the waiter mistake!!! Anyway we got back home and when I opened the boxes the pizzas were thrown in boxes as never gone be eat again!!! I'm feeling bad about what I'm writing, because the food was delicious but the service was terrible and the waiter was very rude. I hope the owner will read the reviews and will get the right decision. Have a good new year and keep doing a precision food,but please take care of your customers and find better staff for you pizza restaurant!

It's hard, two amazing italian restaraunts on the same road. The pizza parlour however has a proper Italian style pizza oven, and a lot of musical curios on the walls to open conversations or to just look at. The staff are friendly, service is fast and food delicious.

Shame I can’t give lower than 1. Works Christmas party here this year, arrived spot on time and no table ready for about 20 of us. Service very slow, accuracy of drinks ordered zero Out of 10. Food DIABOLICAL.. at least 5 meals totally unable, one meal sent back twice and still atrocious We pre ordered and then found out they didn’t have enough of what we ordered Quite simply a disaster Worst and I mean the worst place I’ve eaten EVER! Advised staff of issues to no avail … Suggest you go anywhere apart from this place

Amazing atmosphere and the decor is so cool with famous rock star portraits. Joanna was an amazing waitress with friendly service. Food out of this world with fresh pizza also good value for money off the lunch menu. Tiramisu was the best I've ever had homemade %100 recommend.

I dined here a few days ago with a colleague after work and I have to say, I left feeling at a loss for words. Our server Oscar, was absolutely, terribl-y fantastic. He was attentive to all of our needs, the pizza tasted awful-ly good😉, and as he escorted us to the door at the end of the night, he was a true gentleman and extremely polite. 10/10 service.

Visited today 25/11/23 with my family for our daughters birthday. There was 6 of us. We were served by a lovely young girl called Anna who couldn't do enough for us. The food was fresh and very tasty. The service was quick and there was a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely go again, and I hope if/when we do we get served by Anna again.

Good value for money. Service is a bit slow. In a city full of average pizza outlets though can I suggest something: Increase your prices a bit. Start using caputo flour and create a sourdough base, at least 48 hours fridge proofed. Start using san marzano tomatoes and a higher quality DOP mozzarella. It’ll set you apart from the rest, especially as you have the proper oven.

I used to love this place and never complained as I always recommend this place to people,However I ordered a margarita and everything seemed really nice until i found a bit of meat in my cheese and didn’t even notice until I took a bite. As a vegertarian it really upset me. I didn’t complain straight up as my anxiety could never. I just think why use the same cutting knife that hasn’t been cleaned? However the waiters are absolutely brilliant! And lovely…however the chefs on the other hand. Very unhappy.

Their wait staff are always sweet, friendly ladies. I also love their food. Very nice pasta and pizzas. Drinks a little bit expensive, but a really nice place to visit even if it's usually packed in the evenings.

First visit here today. We were seated straightaway even though the restaurant was busy. Our order was taken quickly. The food was delicious and great value for money. There was a slight issue with our order, but the staff rectified this before we even had to mention it, and the customer service whilst dealing with the issue was excellent. If it hadn't been for the original delay, I wouldn't have hesitated to give 5 stars. We will definitely be returning.

Good food and value for money, however customer service is very disappointing. We visited in September for a family birthday where the service was terrible and came back today as it’s somewhere we have always enjoyed visiting as a family, unfortunately the service was no better, such a shame as we won’t return again.

It's gone downhill massively. They brought our mains before our starters, and what did arrive was pretty low quality. Upon asking, it turns out they have a new chef. I use the term 'chef' loosely. It was terrible. And they still tried to charge us for the starters that we didn't receive. AVOID THIS PLACE

My wife and I needed to eat lunch and spend a little more time in Peterborough before going on to Norwich. It was a nice eatery. Stone cooked Tuscana pizza tasted very nice and generous on meat. The prices were good 6 pounds for pizza and chips. My wife had the pasta arrabbiata and it was nice and she also had the calamari and again nicely cooked. Service was quick and we enjoyed the food. Reasonably priced.

Vegan and gluten free options, tasty food with lovely, attentive staff. They have a lunch special which you can’t go wrong with. Book ahead if you want a table as it’s very busy especially during the weekend.

Went for lunch with my Husband and 2 friends, only 6 other customers in the restaurant. Placed our food order, ordered wine and asked if it was a dry white as the menu did not state, but the 2 waiting staff had no idea so we chose the house white which was acceptable. The food was okay but unfortunately 3 of us were served our food but the 4th person had to wait whilst another table was served their food even though they entered the restaurant and placed their order after we did. Food was okay, service was okay, atmosphere just lacks something but I can't put my finger on it. It must be very difficult for the staff to be motivated to work in this atmosphere. I will certainly go back next door to the Pizza House where it is welcoming with a homely feel, but unfortunately will not rush back to the Pizza Parlour.

My colleague and I went walking the streets of Peterborough having the need to stay over with work. We really fancied an authentic pasta dish so another pizzeria suggested we go to the Pizza Parlour and gave us directions (they only served pizzas). We were pleasantly surprised by this ‘golden gem’ in the heart of Peterborough close to the Cathedral Square. It’s chilled relaxed ambiance was inviting. The colleague who served us was a friendly helpful delight. The food was delicious. We were both very impressed and said next time we’re in the area, we will definitely go back. I had meatballs with spaghetti and added some chillis to spice it up a little, my colleague had arrabbiata with rigatoni. We also had bread basket and olives to start, and then garlic bread with the mains. Two for one on Cocktails too - we did only have two as it was a work trip! One of the best Italian meals I have had the pleasure to experience, it was so delicious and very filling - we couldn’t eat it all. I cannot fault anything with this place - a little bit of heaven! Do try it!
