The fish and chips were larger portions than I expected and were lovely and hot. Burgers are nice too. would recommend.

The best quality seafood we've had since a trip to Cyprus pre covid. Cooked well and great0 value for money. Side portion of chips was huge ! The house made hummus, tartar and sweet chilli sauce are A Mazing. Could have made a meal just out of those with the flatbread ! Simple food , perfectly cooked and lovely customer service. Will definitely be going again.

What a gem of a place! We ordered cod,chips and scampi and we couldn't believe our eyes - the portions were huge. Scampi delicious,cod well seasoned and crispy outside yet moist and tasty inside. Service quick,very polite. Will come back and would definitely recommend for tasty fish & chips!

The best fish and chips and many other lovely tasty dishes.... Had a lovely long walk followed by a very generous portion of chips to warm us up. Always great and very friendly service.... be back soon.

Delicious haddock, lovely crisp chips cooked in beef dripping, and excellent homemade tartar sauce. Wasn't a fan of the slightly brown mushy peas, but everything else was great, including the Stokes ketchup!

Great food as always, however I was a bit sad that because I used the Stamp discount code they offer, making the same order I always do, I didn't receive the complimentary humous dish with the pitta bread ;( was quite looking forward to that!

Lovely cosy restaurant, sitting on the till was an award for best fish and chips 2024 and it didn’t disappoint. Good sized portions, the kids pasta dish was very tasty also. Very Friendly staff. Of course you pay a little more for the food due to location and restaurant but certainly worth it. Will be back for sure Keep up the good work and winning the awards

Had a wonderful meal last night after taking our granddaughter to the pantomine at the spa. The food and chips was the best I have ever tasted. The portion sizes are huge. Couldn’t eat it all. All the staff went out of their way and couldn’t do enough for you. Will be back over and over.

Didn’t receive 2 portions of chips with the 2 Whitby scampi that is under the fish and chip bundle section that we ordered, and as chips are not stated on the order justeat customer service aren’t being helpful. If it does not come with chips then you need to change your menu so it’s not under the bundle section. We had 1 portion of chips to go round 4 adults and 2 kids instead of 3, had some very annoyed family members

Had a lovely warm welcome here today for us & our dog. The food was so good, I had the fish casserole which was so tasty & I really enjoyed it, my hubby had the steak & ale pie and he said it was really good too. Very nice relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff, thank you for a lovely lunch, we will definitely be back soon!

Greeted warmly with a smile and asked if we wanted to sit in or take away. We wanted to sit in and were quickly shown to a table. We were brought warm bread and hummus on the house which is lovely to nibble while choosing your meal. We both had fish pie with peas. The fish pie is a complete triumph. It’s packed full of lovely fish and potatoes and cheese and sauce, it’s perfect. Staff lovely, food lovely and ambience also great. We’ll be back.

Superb cod and chips. Served straight from the pan so very hot. Service is very attentive and efficient.

For some reason the driver wanted to leave the delivery in my driveway not bring it to the door! In the end he got his wife to get out of the car and bring it to the door. I do have a dog a beagle a very non aggressive breed but I had him under control and hold of his collar this driver should not be used again to deliver to me.

Never had fish dish before but my goodness I will again! I got a couple of extra bits in the bag that I hadn’t ordered which was lovely, and the food tasted amazing! The battered sausages actually had batter on them and was delicious 😋

Me and my family ate here last night and it was absolutely sensational. My little boy has allergies and the chef came out and spoke to us in person about what he could prepare for him. The food was beautifully cooked and served by incredibly friendly staff. The portion sizes are insane, a small cod and chips will be more than enough for most adults and the kids portions were very generous. We will definitely eat here again.

This is our go to place for fish and chips when in Felixtstowe. It was before it changed hands a few years ago and still is, with attentive service and lovely fish and chips. Also in a good location with the beach across the road. Would recommend every time.

We visited today with a group of older people that use the community bus service. This was our first time of visiting the Fish Dish for our monthly lunch club. The staff were friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them. The food was freshly prepared, very tasty and well presented. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A big thank you to you all, we will certainly be looking to visit again in 2025.

Easily the best chippy in Felixstowe. I know that’s a big claim for a seaside town full of them, but trust me! I’ve been having chips from here for the last few months and have never been disappointed, they are perfect every time, slightly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy in the middle. Tonight after once again being let down by a Just Eat driver not turning up, the manager could not have been more helpful. Also their hummus is amazing. Cant recommend highly enough!

Amazing food . We had Haddock & chips came with tartar sauce bread and butter. Delicious. A complimentary dish of hummus & pitta bread . Which was a nice touch . And a really good pot of Yorshire tea which was the best I’d had all day . Staff are so nice ,very attentive nothing too much trouble. We love this place If you’re in Suffolk visit Felixstowe make this one of your go to places .

Excellent fish and chips in Felixstowe. Food is always fresh with plenty of options to choose from, large and small, and not only fish. Service is very friendly. We will definitely be making the 1hr20m journey just so we can eat here again!

Driver had problems with his WiFi & wanted my WiFi code & password which i refused and told him to take the food back if he can't deliver to me. Eventually we managed to get a 4 digit code and he delivered my food. I would never give my code out to anyone

Oh, wow! What can I say? A Chippy Lunch on a Saturday at the Seaside sounds like Bliss! We were led to our table and were given complimentary Turkish Flatbread and Houmus. I ordered medium Cod & Chips, and my wife went for Chicken Parmo, Chips, and Salad. For a moment, with Parmo's on the Menu, I thought I was in Middlesborough, not Felixtowe, but hey, we are game for a laugh. The Cod was loverley, a great light Crispy Batter, and the Chips were amazing, all cooked in Beef Dripping. This came with bread, butter, Homemade Tartar Sauce and a Wedge of Lemon 🍋 Lorraine's Parmo was Huge! For those who don't know, a Parmo is a Grilled Chicken Breast covered in Bèchamel Sauce and Cheese, same wonderful Chips and a proper Salad, not just a pile of Weeds heaped up from a bag from Asco's, she had to speak to the Chef to find out what was in it. The Staff are really friendly and helpful, the Resteraunt itself is on two tiers, Dogs are allowed downstairs and I think they even allow Children. Well worth driving an hour from Newmarket for a Lunch or an early Tea. Open from 11:30am to 21:00.

Visited last night for a sit down meal. Delicious fish and chips! Great service and lovely atmosphere

Food was very good except the piece of Rock Eel that I ordered. It was certainly large, as ordered but the quality of the fish itself wasn't great. Rock Eel, a traditional fish in this part of the country (where I grew up) has a single bone running the length of the portion. It's a really meaty fish unlike anything else I know. It can be a real treat but in this case, there wasn't much meat on the bone and what there was didn't taste that great. I suspect that I was just unlucky so would still recommend anyone to give it a try. I also ordered a pint of Adnams Bitter, a fine local ale, somewhat damaged by being served chilled, instead of at cellar temperature (which it absolutely should be). The restaurant came highly recommended so I was rather disappointed.

The fish and chips were tasty, with a generous portion, but the service felt rushed. The staff seemed in a hurry to take orders, and I noticed several diners having their plates removed as soon as they finished, even though others at the same table were still eating. It almost felt as if they had a shortage of plates, which disrupted the flow of the meal and made the experience feel a bit hurried.

We visited early evening around 5pm which was a good move as we just beat the crowd. Met and shown to our upstairs window seat by a very pleasant young waitress who took our drinks order immediately. We then ordered Fish and Chips and Battered sausage and chips with curry sauce. Food arrived very promptly, was nice and hot and delicious, good seaside grub. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained and the seating was not crammed in close. A pleasant space to dine in. The bill worked out at around £15 per head including a drink which was good value.

Had a lovely dinner this evening with the family. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, speedy service and amazing food at a decent price! Can highly recommend the haddock and chips, Chicken Parma and calamari rings. The kids menu has got a great selection so there is something for everyone. Always a treat!

The best fish and chips weve ever had. Portion sizes were perfect. Huge choice of meals. Beautifully cooked with great service. Dogs welcome. Our chihuahua was given a plate of boiled sausage which he loved. The waiter helped us take the dog pram up and down the stairs. A great experience. Highly recommended.

They put the wrong sauce.We ordered a a gourmet burger which included a soggy bun and a tasteless patty.We used to order all the time and remember the time when the burgers were good,they were not messing items of you're order and were always on time

We had a very good lunch at Fish Dish this week to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Attentive, friendly service. They have a lot to choose from on the menu & I like the fact you can have fish not in batter. On this occasion though we all had battered fish & chips which were delicious. Very fresh fish & perfect, non greasy chips. Good size portions, the small was enough for me, fresh, tasty sides. Good range of drinks. The restaurant has had a bit of a refurb & was very clean, as were the toilets. They have a dog friendly area downstairs which we sat in as we had two dogs with us. Mats/bowls for the dogs. They also have a lovely top floor restaurant with sea views. We often have a takeaway & that comes in a box with lemon wedges, services etc.

Well I was originally disappointed when I sat at the table as I notice the prices at the front do not match the prices when you're actually inside. They're a tad pricey for my liking but the quality definitely matches. Really lovely hearty food. Nice service, the music could do with being changed, I don't think classical music really suits the place to be honest. Overall very happy and very full. Thanks team
