In arrival to the Hartford mill, me and my partner got a carvery and was greeted by a loverly lady named Tracy, Tracy was very warm hearted and perlite. After we had finished Tracy then approached again and asked if everything was okay and if we wanted anything else, made me feel like I was at my pedants house very loverly

Came for a carvery with my partner and was served by Tracy. She was absolutely lovely and so helpful!! And was always smiling. Thankyou Tracy 😀

Went in on a Wednesday afternoon for the carvery and it was excellent! That simple! I can understand why the place was busy mid week. The food was so very good, piping hot, looked delicious, very well seasoned and tasted great. My first time eating the carvery and it was genuinely the best pub meal out I've had in the area! 1 veggie, 2 meat eaters and we all loved the it, just a spot on lunch! I will note that bar drinks are very costly. The carvery is extremely well priced for the high quality food served.

Friendly welcome, as always, and another tasty carvery with nice, tender, turkey and beef. I would have given a full five stars but only one car in the blue badge disabled spaces was displaying a blue badge ! Fortunately there was a space opposite today but we have had to drive out without stopping to eat on several occasions. This is not the fault of the pub management but that of inconsiderate and lazy customers who might actually need a blue badge space for themselves one day.

I gave a review in 2023 and it wasn’t great. Came back today for lunch and it was quiet, the carvery was really nice. Pleasantly surprised and pleased we came back .

Carvery tasted disgusting. Told it was served at 11.30 it was 12 ish. The only thing that tasted nice was the roast potatoes. If people think this is a good roast there must be something wrong with them.!!! Left most of it as everything had a tang to it. Even our granddaughter who love my roast did want it?? 4 of us booked in for a carvery lunch here yesterday, the food was tasty, inexpensive and well cooked; and there was lots of it. We were greeted the door by a very polite and smiley lady called Kate, who showed us to our table and checked on us throughout our visit. Hartford Mill is good value for money and having happy and attentive staff made the visit a pleasure. We will definitely be coming back.

Can’t fault it for value, taste, speed of service, friendliness of staff. Yes it’s not posh by any means but that’s not what we wanted. Relaxed, informal and I was really impressed by the staff. So polite and helpful.

We popped in for Lunch, the Wife had what she believes to be the best Carvery he has ever had, we were amazed at how many different potato dished there was, I had an amazing All Day Breakfast. We were particularly looked after be Kate and Deacon who couldn't have been more helpful. A big Well Done to all Staff who coped very well with a very busy Lunchtime Session 👍

Carvery was a decent standard as usual, only small downside is the queue for it which took about 15 mins at 1730. Not much they can do to change it though as its so popular.
