The best restaurants in East of England

This is a lovely place. Went for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. Service was excellent and the pub had a lovely feel to it. The roasts were perfect and plentiful, one had fish and chips and the fish was huge and very nice too. Wish it was my local! Will definitely visit again.

We came here most days when visiting from Australia - we really enjoyed the coffee & atmosphere inside is lovely. However, we stopped visiting after we were declined ordering Takeaway coffee due to it being busy. We were just as much a paying customer as a dine & if we had said we were dine in we would have been allowed a coffee.

Stopped for fish and chips with my Husband on Friday evening past. We needed good food quick, having helped our daughter, partner and family move house that day…we were very hungry and tired. We had the best fish and chips we have had in a very long time. Extremely fresh fish cooked to perfection and very yummy chips. Luckily for us this is now our families local chippy….🎉🐟🍟👍

This is a really nice café, the owner and staff are very welcoming, both to patrons and thier pets ...things can get a little chaotic (in a friendly way) when it's busy - but that makes the place even more charming and unique - have to say I have visited this cafe a few time now and have NEVER left without a smile on my face and a chuckle! The food is dam good too. Prices are reasonable, plus tea in a actual tea pot !! We will be back.

Have used. this chippie for years. I usually have fish n chips .. but sometimes a kebab....which my son always has ....no trimmings just meat .... Never disappointed. Great service brilliant food..... Would certainly recommend..
