Great Atmosphere, Great food and Great Service

This restaurant charged me £110 deposit for a reservation and didn’t take it off the final bill. I just noticed it on the receipt. Not good service.

Booked for my birthday and had the best time. Food was delicious and flavourful. Staff were wonderful, all of the staff at the Watford branch were lovely. Honestly had a lovely night and will recommend to everyone I know.

We have visited Opus before but this time it was for my ‘special’ birthday 🎁 booked by my family. Absolutely cannot fault this restaurant The staff, the quality of food and the presentation is outstanding. Something for everyone! The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the staff are soooo friendly We had the most amazing time. Thankyou everyone at Opus for making my day so special ……and to my daughter for booking it!! 🤣🤣🤣😘

Food is good but overpriced ,service is not good I had to ask for the bill 3 times and my drink never came.i got starter and a main and it was £30.

Beautifully decorated, it balanced luxury and comfort and have a team of people who take pride in their role. Food sublime, drinks refreshing. My only regret is that I had no room for desert.

My family and I went to Opuz in Watford for lunch on January 3rd. We’ve been there several times in the past 2 years and have always enjoyed our visits. The food has consistently been delicious and the service is always very good. Service staff are friendly (as are the managers), smiling, polite and very efficient. Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been! Good food at reasonable prices, lovely atmosphere and excellent service👍

Had a fab family meal on new year's eve. The portions are massive so don't over order! Delicious food - we had the hot and cold sharing platters to start (there were 5 of us) followed by the mixed grill for 2 - all of this was plenty. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We'd definitely go back again! Thanks Opuz!

Best Turkish restaurant around. Food is amazing the homemade chilli sauce is honestly the best I've tasted from anywhere Staff couldn't be more attentive if they tried. Lovely atmosphere great staff even better food. Thanks Vish and olta for looking after us.

Went on NYE so was very busy but service was excellent and didn’t feel rushed to finish. Food was tasty and plentiful.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Hands down the best Turkish food in the area. The quality of the meat is exceptional—truly top-notch. The service is flawless, attentive, and efficient. My only minor critique, and this is purely personal, is that the music was a bit too loud for my taste. The fluffy bread from a few years ago was better than the current offering but sauces were still EPIC! Other than that, it was a great dining experience!

Travelling from Australia all over uk and this was seriously incredible food. We got the creamy chicken, wings, and lamb kababs also taramasalada. You will not be disappointed if you eat here well worth the price.

Opuz Watford is an amazing restaurant: the food, the service and the presentation was so impeccable! The Tabuleh was perfect, then came the prawns starters which had the zing I expected it to have then followed by lamb kebabs with rice. Also on the order was falafel with hummus and salad which was just amazing as well, then we had some gelato and I must say they deserved repeat visits ! Much recommended.

Food was good but a bit pricey. Nice decor. Service was all over the place, perhaps as it was likely very busy due to Xmas parties. Atmosphere was lovely but jeez it's a restaurant not a club, turn the music down a little so guests can talk instead of shouting. I would visit again maybe the experience will be a little different.

Today we ate at opuz for my boyfriends birthday and it was literally the best restaurant experience we had! Klaus served us today and all the staff were very good !! the food came really fast! We ordered the 2 people platter with different kinds of meat and the flavors were something we have never experienced before, also it was so much food. Highly recommend this place !!

Not happy as I booked the table for 11 guests at 7pm and the restaurant did not have my table .. they said that there was an issue with understanding the booking and for over half an hour tried to arrange a table - we ended up having two separate tables. Even though the manager was very sorry and did try to arrange one table, as booked we still had to be split. Which is a Shame as it was a Christmas celebration catch up. Aside The food was good just a huge shame the booking was miss handled.

Got greeted straight away, we booked a table as it was for our work christmas party. We got a booth, which is what we requested. The waiters were very attentive, very kind, always walking around with a smile on their faces. The food I have to say was 11/10 - good selection. It started getting busy, but the waiters still made sure we have everything we needed. The atmosphere was perfect, good music etc. Couldn't recommend this place enough, and the waiters are nice looking too!

Visited today for an early dinner as we had a Watford Town gift card that was about to expire. We previously had no end of problems with this gift card but the manager Khalid (I hope that’s correct!) went above & beyond to help us sort it out so that we could use it against our meal. He made phone calls, he sat down with us, he really went out of his way to get it sorted for us, all whilst remaining exceptionally polite, calm and friendly. We ordered the mixed grill to share as we didn’t want too much food (having been several times before, we knew the portions were generous!) and the food was absolutely delicious as always. Highly recommend anyone that is a fan of Turkish food to visit this restaurant. We will be back early January to celebrate my birthday.

Had a lovely meal, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and well priced. Will definitely come back. One minor niggle, the bread(which was lovely and fresh btw!) arrived after the main which annoyed my friend a little.

Just had a great evening, service just gets better each time, not sure if new waitress or new manager this time but brilliant service and friendly bubbly atmosphere for a Monday evening. Great food fresh salad, great sauces, fresh bread.

Stay away people always not bad it's just meat and salad so you can't really mess that up . Layout of restaurant is ridiculous got a greedy owner who has but to many tables and chairs in his restaurant and due to that the atmosphere is not that great because of the seating area I had to get up so staff could serve the food to the other table.not even are food also they seem to not be very organised we waited nearly two hours to sit and nearly another two hours before we go served up

This is my go to restaurant, the staff are helpful and friendly, the food is the best and there is usually a good atmosphere there. I have done many celebrations for my grandchildren there.

Soooo good! However, the portions are huge! We ordered the sharing platter for 2 but i think 4 of us would have been satisfied.......we gave it a good go though! Next time we're in Watford we will definitely be back!

I regularly go to Opuz with my family always had a lovely experience food is amazing. I went Saturday lunchtime with my sisters we were early for our booked table they said it was fine, we had starters as well as the bread they give free of charge, we had asked the waitress if we could wait 10 minutes for our mains because we were full she said yes ok but within the next minute they came with the mains not good, there were far too many staff they kept walking past our table looking at us making us feel uncomfortable and felt rushed, It was a very disappointing experience because I told my sisters how great it was before. I really hope it won’t be like that and it was a one off otherwise I will be looking elsewhere

This place is honestly great, I’ve never had a bad night there. The decor is beautiful and the service is always stellar, everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good time. and the food is amazing.
