Opuz Kitchen in Watford

Visited today for an early dinner as we had a Watford Town gift card that was about to expire. We previously had no end of problems with this gift card but the manager Khalid (I hope that’s correct!) went above & beyond to help us sort it out so that we could use it against our meal. He made phone calls, he sat down with us, he really went out of his way to get it sorted for us, all whilst remaining exceptionally polite, calm and friendly. We ordered the mixed grill to share as we didn’t want too much food (having been several times before, we knew the portions were generous!) and the food was absolutely delicious as always. Highly recommend anyone that is a fan of Turkish food to visit this restaurant. We will be back early January to celebrate my birthday.

Had a lovely meal, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and well priced. Will definitely come back. One minor niggle, the bread(which was lovely and fresh btw!) arrived after the main which annoyed my friend a little.

Just had a great evening, service just gets better each time, not sure if new waitress or new manager this time but brilliant service and friendly bubbly atmosphere for a Monday evening. Great food fresh salad, great sauces, fresh bread.

This is my go to restaurant, the staff are helpful and friendly, the food is the best and there is usually a good atmosphere there. I have done many celebrations for my grandchildren there.

Stay away people always not bad it's just meat and salad so you can't really mess that up . Layout of restaurant is ridiculous got a greedy owner who has but to many tables and chairs in his restaurant and due to that the atmosphere is not that great because of the seating area I had to get up so staff could serve the food to the other table.not even are food also they seem to not be very organised we waited nearly two hours to sit and nearly another two hours before we go served up

Food is amazing and I love the atmosphere but the music is a bit loud, couldn't hear other people on the table and we ended only eating not a chance for a chat.

Soooo good! However, the portions are huge! We ordered the sharing platter for 2 but i think 4 of us would have been satisfied.......we gave it a good go though! Next time we're in Watford we will definitely be back!

I regularly go to Opuz with my family always had a lovely experience food is amazing. I went Saturday lunchtime with my sisters we were early for our booked table they said it was fine, we had starters as well as the bread they give free of charge, we had asked the waitress if we could wait 10 minutes for our mains because we were full she said yes ok but within the next minute they came with the mains not good, there were far too many staff they kept walking past our table looking at us making us feel uncomfortable and felt rushed, It was a very disappointing experience because I told my sisters how great it was before. I really hope it won’t be like that and it was a one off otherwise I will be looking elsewhere

This place is honestly great, I’ve never had a bad night there. The decor is beautiful and the service is always stellar, everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good time. and the food is amazing.

Just celebrated my sisters 40th birthday here with 31 people and we literally had to roll out we were so full!! The food was amazing, the staff were attentive and everyone had an incredible time. went out for dinner to opuz and was served by debora, she was so lovely and so so attentive, made us laugh and giggle and just all round gave the most special service and made it a lovely night!

Had an amazing time here and the food was fantastically made to perfection. I had the mozzarella stick and the salmon from the lunch menu. I do recommend.

Group of 6 ladies who all enjoyed a lovely evening at Opuz , the food was good , if a little slow in parts but they were extremely apologetic for the delay and the manager gave us a lovely bottle of Prosecco as an apology , this was unasked for and graciously accepted. We were served by the charming Mario who was kind enough to fuss over all of us and he ensured we had a great evening.

Fabulous place with delicious food. Just be careful, you will end up 2hrs in when you thought it was just 30 minutes because the atmosphere is really fun. We ran late because of this ❤️.

Yesterday dined at Opuz Kitchen in Watford, and it was nothing short of fantastic! This restaurant beautifully combines authentic Mediterranean flavors with a welcoming, stylish atmosphere. From the first bite, I could tell the food was prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. The mezze platter was a highlight—fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. We also had royal plater for 6 people was amazing felt different experience with the royal music in background when get served. The service was also exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food they serve. They made us feel right at home and were happy to offer recommendations. The whole experience felt warm and genuine, which made the evening even more special. I highly recommend Opuz Kitchen to anyone in Watford looking for a delicious Mediterranean meal in a relaxed, welcoming setting. This place is a true gem, and I can’t wait to visit again!

Just walked in off the street with the family and was served up the most delicious meals by friendly and attentive staff in a most convivial atmosphere. I never leave reviews but am so impressed that I feel compelled to do so here. First rate. Cannot recommend it enough. Also cannot wait to return.

First time visiting! Absolutely amazing vibe and aesthetics. The food was amazing! Ordered the Just the 2 of us platter for 2 people, but we couldn't even finish it, such great quality and amount given! Olivia was our host and was absolutely amazing and very attentive to us. Went to Opuz Watford with my brother and my sister in law for a chill night together…and we were IMPRESSED! 😍 Food was so tasty and the cocktails were incredible. We tried the Art Attack, Bit of me and Flora were ours favs. The 3’s a crowd platter was amazing and had a generous amount of meat, we shared lots of sides too that were delicious and great accompaniment’s for the mains. The service is TOP NOTCH! Best service I have ever had in London 🍷 Thank you, Opuz for the delicious food and incredible service. We can’t wait to come back!
