We’ve been ordering for this place takeaways for really long time, however yesterday was our last time. My husband ordered the food and i have received cooked chicken mixed with raw chicken. Before I realised it was already too late, as cooked bits were on the top, I started eating and after few bites which I already ate , felt something is not right. I stir it well there was literally raw pieces mixed with cooked. I’ve been throwing up all night, I don’t feel well, hopefully I will be ok and avoid A&E. disgusting place, avoid at any cost

This place is great. Ordered from here about 10 times or so and it’s always hot and fresh - amazing salads and pizzas. Delivery is very quick.

Used to think Alexander express pizzas were ok, by no means the best but they did a job. Ordered today and omg … pizza was horrific! Beas looked shop brought yet somehow it was undercooked too! Horrific!

Food wasn't great, Shawarma chicken just tasted burnt and of little else. Lamb shish was OK. Everything was in loads of small plastic trays, a lot of which don't seem recyclable and definitely didn't hold the heat. Cardboard would have been better. The place isn't very welcoming, they seem more focused on their deliveries than take-out customers.

We ordered a mixed grill and halloumi sandwich, when the order arrived the halloumi sandwich was not there but there was a portion of halloumi. I called the takeaway and they sent a halloumi sandwich but asked that we give the halloumi portion back. My wife was hungry and had already eaten one piece when I called the takeaway but after that we didn’t eat anymore. I thought it was strange they wanted the food back, when they messed up the order in the first place. They then called me to say I was “cheap” after returning the halloumi with one piece missing. They didn’t seem to understand that their mistake meant we could not eat together and we had to wait for the correct food to arrive. I hope they didn’t just reheat the halloumi and serve to anyone else. Any ordinary takeaway would have just accepted they got the order wrong and not request the food back. I ordered through their app, so it was clear what we ordered. Awful customer service and I didn’t appreciate the abuse from the takeaway. I had always enjoyed eating here

If you like lamb... well this is pretty much the best ive ever experienced. nicely fragranced, cooked to perfection. Not something you would expect to find in this country. Very high quality.

Took lamb samboussek and picante pizza by takeaway; arrived in 30 mins still warm. The samboussek definitely looks handmade but lovely mix of spices; would have gone well with some dipping sauces. Overall good flavours though!

I've ordered from Alexander express multiple times. Never disappointed. The food always arrives hot. The proportions are perfect and never leaves me feeling heavy. It always tastes fresh and cooked to perfection. It tastes homemade and never drowned in grease so great if you're looking for a healthy option. Some of the best lamb shawarma I've had! The only improvement they can make is to put the salad in a different box so it doesn't get soggy with the hot food.

Great place for a take away. Generous portions and well cooked. Very popular with us at work. The guys there are very friendly and accommodating. Lahem meshwi and shish taouk are great but mixed grill is well worth it. If your looking for veg option we usually get the chefs special which is 2 large portions of halloumi with grilled veg. Its great with their mild chilli sauce they provide. Fries 🍟 portions are big enough for 2 to share. For lunch options their sandwiches are a bargain as only £5 and very filling. I'm sure to be back.

Ordered for first time from this lovely Lebanese little Jem. The "Siciliana Pizza" was made with fresh dough and it's was so so delicious,also the "Shawarma" was pumping hot and you can tell that was fresh aswell.The delivery driver was very friendly. Will order deffenetly again. Highly recommended 👌

First time tonight and couldn’t fault it! food was fabulous: tender lamb, lots of pleasurable unexpected additions like delicious hot sauce and mouth-watering yoghurt sauce, soft warm pitta and fresh salad. I highly recommend the grilled meats and stews /curries (both vegetarian and chicken options) from Alexander Express. But the most memorable menu items are their fresh chilli sauce and garlic sauce that come with the kebabs, and can be ordered separately. They are mouthwateringly delicious.

First time and last time we will use Alexander Express. Terrible experience. Took three attempts to order online and when I called to check if the order had gone through they didn’t seem to care. When it finally arrived it was wrong, I called again and they kept me on hold for ages, finally offered a refund then got moody when I asked for the food instead. What they did manage to deliver was horrible - tough undercooked meat and generally tasteless. Literally threw most of it away. Trust me, give these guys a miss, there are far better places

Brilliant food and food quality. Every time we order from Alexander Express we are blown away with how delicious the food is. The cold and hot appetizers are so yummy. You have to try the soujouk and the Sawda Djaj. The hoummus is so creamy and the shish taouk is grilled to perfection. The delivery was right on time and the customer service is really good. They are very professional

If you want to try authentic Lebanese cuisine, this is the place. A small family business with very helpful and friendly staff members. The negative side is that they only have delivery and takeaway, no dine in as this is a small fast food with no sitting area. But they have their on App to order and they are on JustEat so give them a chance to grow.

Prompt delivery, beef cooked to perfection. Wasn't to keen on the taste though, bit blant. I'll try something spicier/more hot next time. Also, I usually eat with my hands but for steaw I think there should be some sort of cutlery included with delivery. Luckily had a spoon at my hotel room.

When my caterers fell through Alexander Express came up trumps and at short notice to deliver a sumptuous feast of sharwarma (lamb, chicken), spicey and med salad, and some delicious falafel and kibbeh potato (a surprise hit with guests) and loads of fresh pitta, relishes and pickles. Fresh and tasty we were all tastily reminded of our Holy Land trip a year ago. Highly recommended and good value

Really unimpressed with Alexander Express. They took our order saying it would be 45 minutes later. An hour later I call to enquire and am told it’s half done and hasn’t left yet. I’m then told I can cancel if I want. Obviously this is too late so I tell him to continue yet the guy on the phone keeps trying to get me to cancel saying it will be a while. Arrived over 90 mins after with food luke warm and didn’t taste that great. To add to the insult they forgot the hummus and were less than apologetic. Fuming. Won’t be ordering again. They need to seriously brush up on their service.

I have only ordered take away from Alexander’s after struggling to find a Lebanese restaurant than produces great Lebanese food. I have to say the food takes a while to deliver to me but turns up hot enough not to have to reheat for more than 30 secs in my microwave . The Wraps are AMAZING!, the best outside of the Edgware Road. Their Italian food on the other hand is nothing to rave about. My advice to them is dump the pizzas and pastas and replace with home cooked authentic Lebanese which is what they do well. I wanted to rate them 5 but have only given a 4 because of the poorer quality Italian dishes. Stick to the Lebanese and you won’t be disappointed. They also have a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 which is very good compared to their competition. Well Done !

I've ordered take aways from here for many years. Food is consistently good and always tastes fresh. Pizza's, salads, chicken wings and kebabs are superb. The service however can let you down sometimes with delayed orders.

OMG! What a lovely meal. Massive portions and the food was absolutely delicious! I even called the restaurant after to tell them how good it was. We had the the lamb shawarma - delish, mixed grill-delish, lamb chops-delish and a couple of other dishes. All were lovely ♡ Would 100% recommend the place and will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

After waiting over an hour half my order didn’t arrive and it took 35 minutes to get through to them to ask where it was! They couldn’t explain what happened and would refund what didn’t arrive- really helpful at 9.45pm when it’s too late to order from anywhere else! Yet to see if the refund arrives in my account...won’t order again.

We generally like to cook fresh at home most evenings, however, most Fridays we like to order a takeaway. There are a few local places we alternate between depending on what we fancy. By a long shot, Alexander Express is our favourite. We’ve never tried the pizza but tend to stick with the Greek/Turkish/Lebanese options. The shawarma, shish, mixed grill and grilled halloumi are regular orders. My wife also always loves the olives and peppers that come on the side. Haven’t been disappointed thus far. Good meal tonight and I’m sure we’ll order from them again within the next few weeks. Although I have given 4 stars, for value it’s definitely a 5.

On the website they tell you your order will be ready in 15 mins. After you order they text you saying your order has been delayed by 20 mins. Went to collect after 35 mins and they hadn’t even started cooking my food yet. They even had the cheek to lie to me and pretend the order had just come through. So they said it’ll take a further 15 mins. I was too hungry to cancel the order but I expressed my disappointment. 50 mins to prepare my relatively small order when I was initially told 15. Wasn’t offered a penny of compensation. Utterly disgraceful. Also gave me food poisoning. Apart from that it was great.

I am I aware that in writing this I will never be able to order from this place again, and because of location/ general standard of food bring decent plus fact that when trying to be healthy chicken shish is up there in take away terms.l I have used these guys a lot! However I have never spent so much money with a company who are so ungrateful/ rude. 3 times I have had to send chicken wings back for being under cooked. I have been treated like the bad guy for daring to complain. Had the wings collected by courier as if I was lying then on one occasion questioned by the chef when I collected a takeaway for daring to return raw food. Tonight I ordered food and received an email to tell me the agreed delivery time was doubled. Of course I didn’t check my emails until I was checking delivery time as they were late. I phoned up to question this only to be told extremely rudely that the delay was the minimum it was likely to be longer. I was left with no choice but to cancel, pretty much ruining the evening. I ordered a collection last month and they failed to give me the sauces which accompany the order. Of course I did not realise until I got home and they said it was my fault for not requesting them. They refused to drop them round so I had to drive back to collect. My final gripe is that if you buy a kebab for 9.50 it come with 3 pots of source. If you buy 2 kebabs for 19.00 they do not give you any more sauce! They charge you a £1 per pot. So in effect it’s cheaper to place all your orders separately and collect altogether. As said at top we all like to feel our business is valued, I have spent genuinely thousands at this place and never once felt that. I reiterate I am not complaining about the general food standard (apart from raw chicken). It reaches a stage where you have to make a stand and I hope the owners read this and take it on board for future and existing cuctomers!

This takeaway is very hit and miss when we order for home delivery. We have noticed a trend with this place. If we order early in the week, say a Tuesday evening, the food tends to be of better quality. Today (Thursday) however, our food was very poor. Mixed grill was burnt to a crisp, all of our food was stone cold, and salad was brown. We also did not get pita bread for every kebab ordered. Sadly I don’t think we will be ordering from here again

Every time we order we are never disappointed. Food arrives before expected arrival and piping hot. The food here is so fresh and delicious, portions are good too.

We have used this takeaway many times and never been disappointed.Food is freshly prepared and they always try to please. have never tried pizza but wrapped Lebanese sandwiches and salads that we have never fail to delight.

Always order our pizza from Alexander Express. Easy to order online on the website and very tasty. The Lebanese salad with garlic sauce is also great. Both staff and delivery staff friendly.

Working in the area and needed my Mediterranean mixed grill fix. Ordered online and picked up shortly afterwards. The restaurant is in a residential area so parking could be a bit tricky, but I was able to find a space easily. Once inside you are met with a lovely bright restaurant. I was only in for a takeaway but would equally be happy to say and eat.

Best food in the area hands down!

I ordered the pizza Picanto and Mixed Shewarma. Unlike other pizzas - these taste fresh and decent ingredients. All the staff were very friendly and courteous and returned back today for second time within a week. Definitely reccomend-won't be disappointed.

These people mess up your order but then argue with you when you call to inform. Told me that my partner ordered lamb when actually I ordered chicken (he doesn't eat lamb)!!!

I love Lebanese food but was the first time trying from here & wasn't sure what to expect - but it was delicious! It was fresh, full of flavour & they even added some complimentary pitta & sauces. Everybody were pleased with their food & we will definitely be ordering from here again!

Ordered a take away recently for delivery and arrived when we requested it. Food was hot and they give salad and bread with the meals. The shish tawuk and whole chicken were very tasty with the sauces complementing them very well. Would recommend highly.

The egg on the fiorentina was totally uncooked with clear jelly egg white in the center. The dough on all three pizzas was undercooked. The mixed grill was poor in terms of quantity and the meat was tough and over cooked except the chicken pieces which were ok. All of us were left feeling hungry but unable to bring ourselves to eat more. Very disappointed.

I can't knock the quality of the food at all. Anything Grill or Lebanese is amazing, i mean better than 99% of takeaways period, falafel and lebanese chicken curry are unmissable. The pizza's have never been great, but sometimes you get a good one. For someone reason my order of Houmous Beiruty was half the size it normally is. It usually lasts me 2 days. Also they didn't deliver free drink as i order over £35, Consistency with this place has always been an issue, food is as i said is incredible but its never worth calling them to discuss an issue as they are quite rude and i gave up trying long ago. Presentation of food is good to. So close to a perfect takeaway.

Ordered lamb shish and chicken escalope. Lamb was tough and chewy, chicken escalope over cooked, stringy and chewy. No pitta with shish. Normally pretty good here, not this time.

Bread/Naan was hard as soon as I took it out of the bag. It was hard as wood. The salad was yellow/brown and there was loads of water in the shish taouk.. Overall not a good meal at all..

It's ok. Good falafels and rikakat, but the meat was just ok. The sauces that come with it aren't anything exciting.
