The best restaurants in East of England

The food w as s great but be careful of the drivers they are stealing the food and only give you half, later went to thr restaurant and they provided what was missing.

Had a long relaxing lunch with my partner. They were super busy but the staff were so efficient. The food is high quality yet simple. Loved it.

Not as good as the one down the rd. It's ok but but the starter was a frozen Kebab.... go to the other 1

Highly recommend. Traveled on my own. I happened upon here as i was visiting PAUS. down the road and The Red House was recommended on their website. A wonderful pub and room beautiful - everything to a very high standard and super clean. Very easy and relaxed. Will stay again and recommend to friends

Quick, friendly service. The menu is comprehensive and there are ‘special’ celebration events and Curry day. Good value and lovely venue.

My wife and I went to The Old Feathers for Valentines night. We had pre ordered and what a lovely evening it was, service was brilliant, the food was absolutely wonderful and the ambiance of the place is excellent. The staff are very friendly & efficient. Well done Old Feathers, Highly recommended. We will be back

1st time here for my birthday, I'm the most fussiest pescarterian ever, and asked to slightly alter my meal tonight, 08/03/2025 from a basil sauce, to opted for1 of the steak sauces , ( had to pay the extra but well worth it )mushrooms white wine,n garlic, it was cooked to perfection,tasted amazing, just the right amount of sauce to dip my garlic bread in which was also amazing ,although alil, bit to strong(personal pref,n i love garlic, next time will opt,for cheesy g, bread just to lighten the taste ) , icould not fault this meal,it takes a lot for me to rate anywhere, cos I hate leaving negative, reviews, unless REally bad..BUT honestly, very rarely I leave a restaurant 😋 this happy..! If I had to make a niggle, ( again personal) lighting is a bit lacking on a shiny backed menu, maybe something they could easily address, but overall,BLOODY AMAZING👏 WOULD N WILL BE RECOMMENDING TO EVERY1 ...X SERVICE AMAZINGING, PRICING ( AGAIN PERSONAL,.. We were staying with my daughter and family and treated them all to a truly amazing takeaway meal from this restaurant. Fabulous service and the staff were just a pleasure to deal with. Food was so delicious and portions were generous and we all loved it, from the oldies to the little ones it was enjoyed by all. We would not hesitate to return and so glad we done our homework as this is by far the best Tandoori we have eaten for a very long time. Try it as you will not be disappointed!

We tried the pizza truck last Wednesday and it was delicious. You can eat it in the pub with a beer and the footie. Drink choice as always is great here.

Very disappointing. We waited a long time for food. Mums meal arrived as we were half way through our. Roast was smothered in gravy, which overwhelmed all the other flavours. Would have been better to have a jug on the side. Not much beef, average Yorkshire pudding, pigs in blankets seemed shop bought, roast potatoes not crispy at all, rest of veg average. My son’s chips and burger very dry. On a positive note, the staff were very nice and apologetic. They did refund my mums meal. It was a pity as it was Mothers Day. This restaurant was highly recommended. It is priced quite high end but has a sort of Berni Inn or Beefeater feel to it. We won’t be returning.

This restaurant is fabulous, never mind best in Sheringham in our mind best in North Norfolk . The food is delicious, great service and ambience. We visit whenever we can and recommend it to all our friends who love it as well.

25 minute wait is crazy!! Plus a tiny portion of chips.
