Imperial Hotel in Great Yarmouth

Always a pleasure to go here amazing staff that treat you like family excellent food an amazing Seaview from the terrace what more could you need

We have Dining at the Imperial for near on 20 years generally on our annual holiday in Norfolk usually Great Yarmouth, which has more to offer than people give credit to. Dining at the Imperial whether be Lunch or evening meals has never been a disappointment, food and service always provided a great experience and i can recommended dining here too highly

Didn’t stay in a room so can’t comment on that,the food however in the restaurant is up there with some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. The staff were amazing and the service was awesome. I highly recommend and will definitely be back

Just back from an overnight stay here, I cannot recommend this hotel enough, the staff are so lovely and friendly, we had a delicious meal in their restaurant. The AA rates this hotel as 4 star - personally I think it deserves more! Will definitely return.

I took 30 guests to the Imperial hotel for my birthday burns night dinner . Everything was wonderful , all my guests thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend . The staff & service was excellent , as was the food . Grant Smith was a great head of staff & made an our stay very memorable , Thankyou all , so recommend your stay here .

I had lunch last week and was served by Holly who was outstanding. She made me an iced coffee it was the best that I have ever tasted. She was so friendly and helpful and I would like to wish her well. Thank you Holly

Great staff,superb food and very reasonably priced, very clean and a very good decoration. Some people my find the lift a bit dated but we loved it.

Had a great long weekend away, only downside is the bar is on the small size, but everything else was great

Eight of us stayed at the Imperial Hotel this week and five of us have worked in hospitality. Yes we had a fabulous experience and were impressed with all aspects of our stay but more than that we could tell that this is a really well managed hotel. The staff were all efficient, positive and friendly. Breakfast menu options were particularly special and cleanliness got top marks. Booking hotels can be hit and miss and the Imperial Hotel scored a big hit with all of us. We have no hesitation in recommending the Imperial Hotel and if we are in Great Yarmouth again we will look nowhere else. Full marks to Grant, the Hotel Director and also to his team.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful, had a lovely time there. Had one of the luxury rooms with sea view worth every penny.

Good location. Rooms; below average. Dated interiors, don't smell fresh at all. And the lift, OMG!! Better hotels around. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly.

Only went to the Terrace Restaurant for dinner. Excellent meal for both my wife and I. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would certainly go again

Absolutely lovely hotel. Right on the seafront. Rooms were very nicely decorated and furnished. Very comfortable beds. Excellent food, catering for all tastes, breakfast, snacks and dinner. Staff there all the time, nothing to much trouble for them, will to go above and beyond.

Great lunch at the Terrace Restaurant. Well done to the chefs for their original and exceptionally tasty food served by professional and friendly staff who go out of their way to please. Fantastic location. Can't wait to go back. A 5 star experience all round.

Lovely clean rooms, good service and good food

Room was not very clean, location is good (at the seafront), but the town generally does not feel safe. Terrible sound isolation — I could hear what’s happening in the corridor/adjacent room.

Food really good, didn't stay there but all looked very clean. Staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating
