Our first time visiting and definitely not the last. Great food and friendly staff

Visited yesterday for the 1st time for our anniversary. Excellent food and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Really lovely restaurant, food was great and the service was fab. The owner was so kind and helpful we took 2 young children along and he made them chicken nuggets and chips especially. The kids said how lovely the man was and wanted to leave a great review…thankyou again.

Had this restaurant recommended to us on our recent visit and sure enough it passed. Very good service and attention to detail/ presentation. Food was well sized and really flavoursome. Biriani being one of the best we’ve had. Decoration of restaurant not Indian at all but more clean medd.

Definitely worth to visit if anyone looking for quality Indian food with the feeling of home cooked. Professional and friendly service also made the experience very pleasant.

I have a nut allergy, these guys always go above and beyond and cater to my needs wouldn't go anywhere else.

The place looks spacious and tidy. Don't be deceived by it. The food is not to my (our) liking. The tikka masala is supposedly orange-y in color but it wasnt. It was so red, i thought it was tomato soup🤭. Also, it was too sweet to be a tikka masala😵‍💫. Almost all the food are too sweet for it to be a main savory dish.🫤 I had to munch the onions and the chutney to counter the sweetness of the main dish.🥴 BTW, this is not an exaggeration of the event. I really ate the onions and chutney with it (and the rice). Anyways, the staff were good especially the thai lady that served us. However, the manager/supervisor/owner of the place who took our order was very condescending and treated us like we haven't had indian cuisine before. We found him rude and abrupt. It's our first time to dine in this place but i dont think we will eat in here again for the foreseeable future nor recommend it to any of our friends. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷‍♀️🤷🙅‍♀️🙅🙅‍♂️

Excellent meal and excellent service. We had the chicken garlic bhuna and chicken tikka passander, both very flavoursome and good value. The service was excellent and the restaurant had a nice calm atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.

Arrived without a booking but was escorted to a table for 2 quite quickly. Invited to have a drink and promptly added if we would like the obligatory poppadoms & accompaniments followed by onion bajis & samosas. The main course was excellent , tandoori lamb balti & mushroom rice with nan bread with large pieces of lamb. Would recommend you give it a try, the place lacked any kind of ambience but would still recommend . Special thanks to Limon who was a rather attentive waiter 👍

I've been to King's Lynn Tandoori a few times now, and the food is always delicious. The service is friendly and efficient too.

We visited recently for a works meal, there were 22 of us in total and Rassel helped organise with pre-orders and timings. Everyone said how amazing the food was, not an easy task to serve everything hot with that many people. The service was also excellent, they kept checking back to make sure we wanted drinks. Thanks so much, we'll definitely be back!

Went on Friday and was really quiet, after out meal I knew why.. it was just ok, average! Certainly much much better out there and wouldnt go back. Ps main meal was warm at best too!

I've never been out for an Indian meal before.. And never experienced anything like it. The service was absolutely amazing here, so friendly and helpful. The food was nothing like I expected. As I'm such a wuss with spice, but I found out real Indian food is about flavour. I tried a bit of everyone's and really enjoyed it. Left feeling stuffed but worth it!!

I regularly visit the King’s Lynn Tandoori because it is simply the best Indian restaurant in King’s Lynn. The food is delicious and always cooked to perfection. The staff are exceptional and will constantly stretch themselves to give you the best dining experience. The atmosphere is calm and friendly. The chefs / staff are more than happy to accommodate additional requests that are not on the menu and never complain for this. Last night myself and my partner enjoyed starters of mixed kebab and king prawn dish and mains of king prawn tikka masala, pilau rice, saag paneer, mixed biriyani, peshwari naan plus two drinks; the bill was £60 between us which is fantastic value for money and the size of portions. We are proud regulars of this establishment and would highly recommend it to all. Many thanks and best wishes to the wonderful staff / owner of the restaurant.

Called in at lunchtime greeted by a very nervous gentleman who called a very charming person who was very apologetic had called in on his Day off no chefs in .why advised open with no staff?

Staff were helpful in giving suggestions (81 was so tasty). Food was good. Will be back to try more.

We arrived without booking on a Wednesday night. The restaurant wasn’t very busy so we were seated quickly at a table for two. We ordered three starters, two mains, rice, a side and a naan. With a drink each it came to just over £60 which we were very happy with. The restaurant was very clean and tidy with modern decoration. The food was really tasty and we were really happy with what we ordered. The restaurant is on a Main Street but it’s easy to park around the back. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be going again.

Another quality meal. They catered for our request for a meal not on the menu. It was excellent quality. We cant beat Kings Lynn Tandori. Of all the restaurants we have tried in the area, this is the best. All staff are polite and can’t do enough. Very helpful and willing to chat about the food and history of it.

Honestly beyond disappointed.. I understand some people don’t like their job or whatever, and I can sympathise, however I found the waiter to be really uninterested and abrasive. The food last night was not good. My vegetarian curry had zero sauce and what appeared to be frozen vegetables in it judging from the diced carrots. Watered down tasteless chutney with the popadoms…When you can’t be bothered to get that right, what’s the point. Last time I was there was about 4 years ago and what a difference to last night. Even the water, that you always have to ask for everywhere you go in England 🤷‍♀️ was literally luke warm. Never again

Tried here back in August. Would have to say as Curry houses go around North Norfolk, this is definitely one of the better ones. The food was good, good service. However, it was slightly expensive and the waiters were too pushy and obsessed with upselling, was as if they were on commission. Would definitely return though

Nothing can be faulted about the restaurant. After receiving a warm staff welcome, I had a meal last night with my husband, daughter and son-in-law who often have Indian meals either as a takeaway/sit down meal. Both reckoned it was the best they had had. We ordered poppadoms, starter and main but all struggled to finish as large portions (daughter had a doggy bag). The meal itself could not be faulted. Delicious! Thankyou. The young waiter could not have been more helpful or friendly and I can't believe a review about it being dirty as it was spotless. My son-in-law says this will become their regular takeaway and I'll certainly be going back.

We had a takeaway and it was the first time we'd used kings lynn tandoori. After being regulars at downham tandoori for many years, I was worried kings lynn wouldn't be as good. But it was, staff were very friendly and helpful, restaurant is beautiful and our food was delicious 😋

Visited last night and the meal was out of this world. Got to be one of the best Indians in Norfolk as I have tried many. Onion bhaji’s to die for. Curries are fabulous and plentiful. The staff are very friendly and great service.

With the exception of the Tarka Dal, the food was absolutely amazing. Service was a bit slow, but I think they were short staffed. Overall, it is probably the best Indian in town.

This place was terrible. First of all the waiter we had was very rude and obnoxious he was constantly bossing us around and even stole my family members card and placed it on the cash payment himself bc he (family member)was taking to long but only bc he struggles with his hearing.He had no people skills he didn’t even put on a fake smile.The good was not the best however it wasn’t so bad that we couldn’t eat it. The table clothes were quite dirty when we sat down as well.

After a few years I decided to try this restaurant again to see if it had improved. Unfortunately it has not. It all lacked flavour & the king prawns were actually just prawns which had no flavour what so ever. Just like frozen prawns you can buy in a supermarket. King prawns are very large & are cut into sections for a curry dish. All the other Indians in Kings Lynn including takeaways serve the correct king prawns. This is obviously to save money. The service was not consistent, some waiters were happy but one in particular was fairly grumpy. That's it I'm done, will not go again.

The worst food is have ever had in my life. I ordered Kima nan there was uncooked Doner kebab inside. My daughter had a chicken tikka b biryani she could not touch the chicken only eat the rise . My wife also left all her lam and chicken from her mixed biryani . It was like there were using frozen cheap chicken or left over warmed up from the night before. Waste of time and money..
