Had an amazing takeaway that was really tasty

For the first time ever this was not great. I collected on time and there was a bit of fuss because “I’d ordered on Just Eat”. Why is that a problem ? If you weren’t in just eat I wouldn’t be ordering. Then when I got home , the chapstick were missing , we had poppadoms we hadn’t ordered , and everything was either cold or had some hot bits and some cold. Odd for an order made only 30 minutes before. Never had poor service or food from here before. Hoping it’s one off. ,

Ordered at 1800, we were told 40 mins to deliver. After calling 2 times the food finally arrived well over 1 hour late. No updates from the restraunt. Not good enough. No matter if the food is great service was bad

I was staying at Diglea camp site there was no food available on site. Found these guys and I wasn’t disappointed the food was delicious and had a lovely aroma from the quality of the spices. Thanks guys everyone loved it 👏🏻

I ordered pulao (2) with Chicken tikka chilli masala and tandoori chicken. Tandoori chicken was okay. But the rice was not cooked enough and it tasted like raw rice. I couldn’t even finish one quarter of it. The dal curry I got was so sweet, I hadn’t have a single dal curry from India, that’s sweet. I am really disappointed since I could only have 3 pieces of chicken from the entire order. I’m writing this hoping next time I visit this beautiful place, I can have delicious food. And one more thing, I got mint chutney and I didn’t even touch that, because it looked strange with a weird green colour like herbal tooth paste. Adding colour doesn’t make the food tastier.

Seriously mate? If you name your restaurant spice garden don’t put loads of sugar into your curries. If you think you are serving Indian food, there is zero resemblance to what Indian cuisine actually tastes like. You don’t receive a one star because you folks managed to somehow find a sugar toothy version of South Asian cuisine and you fooled the people into thinking this is how food from that part of the world tastes like. Good business, bad integrity.

order was a big one but we were told it would be delivered between 1915 and 1935 but was delivered at 1955

Holidaying locally so took a punt with this one based on positive reviews. Not disappointed, meals delivered speedily and portions were generous and tasty. Curries were quite oily and poppadums a bit chewy but on the whole a decent meal for a decent price.

I ordered chicken and chips and only got the chips

Lovely food, great price and 2 meals delivered free to Snettisham for around £17. No complaints here. Highly recommended.

Food was cold and told me to go throw just eat to get a refund and sent out wrong drink too

Was all good apart from the chips. Just sticks full of oil . Stale as anything .

Staying local - so tried Spice Garden takeaway (delivery). Lamb was tender and the food was very good. Ordered online and was delivered within 45 mins. First class.

Arrived on a Friday for a weeks stay and we were not disappointed, we ordered a takeaway, 2 mains rice naan and poppadoms with dips delicious and very tasty 😋 and only just over £23 this would have been way more expensive back home in Scotland. Highly recommend 👌

Here for short stay restaurant nearby and really only place serving food that evening - chutneys and dips extraordinary colours .. bit unnaturally luminous in colour … weirdest green and brightest yellow! Little alarming! Mains ok but too oily .. feeling bloated for a few days after … atmosphere poor - owner sits at a desk/table glaring into restaurant - very odd.

We thoroughly enjoyed our takeaway and will definitely be ordering again. Even ate leftovers the next day. Would definitely recommend

Just had a wonderful takeaway from here! We had a chicken biryani, which was very tasty & not dry like I've some I've had elsewhere. We also had the duck malabar malai, which was exceptional! It was all gone before I thought to take any photos. Very well priced & very polite & friendly service. More than happy to recommend. 👌

First time trying here, food was absolutely delicious! Will definitely order again when staying in the area in the future.

Actually had a take away to local Holiday Camp . always use this Indian everytime i am down here , still awesome , Garlic dishes are superb , prices still steady and given a free Sag Aloo ...Best Indian around

We are on holiday for a week so this was our first night treat. One of the best we have had. Really tasty food, fresh, hot and reasonably priced. Friendly delivery too. Definitely reccomend this restaurant

Came in to order food. The food was nice however my only real gripe was the large woman that took my order, who resembles famous actor Jabba from star wars, was quite rude and the odours were quite overwhelming. I would recommend you order through the front door with the very nice waiter in the restaurant.

We thought we would try this restaurant, and happy to have a bargain, we went on the Sunday to enjoy the banquet offer, a popadom course, followed by a start, which was beautifully presented with a crisp salad, the usual relish and dips were served with the popadoms and left for the starter course. This restaurant is licensed if you would like. The main choices are plentiful and the offer included rice, and naan or roti , there was so much food and all freshly prepared. Service was excellent and waiting staff were attentive, and pleasant. Well worth a visit , a lovely clean comfortable dining experience.

Good quality food and service, friendly staff. One gripe was the delivery driver, (we guess) who was in and out constantly with food past our table when he wasn't sat on his phone at a table in the restaurant. We we're the only table so it was hard to miss him.

Really tasty food and good value. Order was a little late, but when queried they responded quickly and order received not too long afterwards. Driver was really pleasant, and apologised. Albeit that wasn’t necessary. Just wanted to make sure there had been no mixups

Perfect conclusion to an idyllic holiday. Heacham is a tranquil, and some may say an old fashion English Village... This restaurant strikes the happy medium between authentic, respectful and attentive. The atmospheric pow you get is cutting edge with every dish. From someone who is well travelled with curry and then eating in a sleepy Norfolk village.... it's an understatement to say I was blown away...

My food was 35 mins late being delivered. The starter and nan bread was stone cold so I had to reheat that in my air fryer for 5 mins. By the time I had done that and eaten said starter the curry and rice were cold so I then had to reheat that. The food quality was only OK could have cooked the same myself. Really small portions for £25 won't be eating there again. I treated myself as it was my birthday and I was really disappointed with what I got.

Lovely food just wished it was busier

Terribly disappointed. Ordered First time from this place. The food arrived cold and did not smell fresh. The meat was chewy and dry, and was not fresh. Missing flavours. The take away meal costed £32 and I only ate the naan bread which was not too bad. You call yourself spice garden.. there were no spices in the food apart from too much salt and sugar

we got take away set meal for two, it was absolutely awful!! foil dishes were hot, food inside was stone cold! chicken was horrible, curry sauce was thin and watery, no curry taste at all,bombay aloo was huge chunks of potatoes in transparent watery fluid! none of the dishes smelled like curry AT ALL, Lurid green sauce,think was supposed to be mint, a complete waste of money! husband got to shop at the stated time, and we were only a four minute drive away, so no way did it get cold on journey back from the shop.

On holiday in Heacham, tried the Spice Garden and it was awesome. The food was so tasty, lovely service, ready when we came to pick up. Great price. And VegN catered for. Thank you. One of the best curries ever, and we live in East London. Thanks guys!

Our favourite food is Indian and try and visit restaurants whilst on holiday. We found this Indian but the reviews were not great. I understand why. The waiters were very friendly, however the food was mediocre, there wasn't much flavour. We had a pleasant evening but wouldn't rush back

Really disappointed food was cold.. 4 pieces chicken in curry’s.. very watery as well and myself and my daughter could not personally eat hardly any of it.. what did eat has now made us both have awful stomachs.. generally very disappointed not like this normally at all.. completely put me of if honest..

Great food and would highly recommend!

The food was freezing cold, we ordered 2 mixed starter and the onion bhajis were burnt to a crisp, quantity for the price was disgusting and we live 5 mins away from the restaurant. So disappointed after a long week at work was not happy at all.

We visited this restaurant 30th September and ordered Chicken tikka massala, chicken madras, chicken balti, mushroom bajhis, onion bajhis, vegetable rice, garlic nan and omelette and chips. Everything apart from the omelette and chips was worthy of 4/5 rating. But unfortunately the chips were very poor and unappetising, over cooked , greasy and lots of scrap chips on the plate as depicted in the attached photo. The waiting staff gave good service and apologised for the poor quality of the chips. However the owner made no apology about the poor quality of the chips when he was advised by the waiter , all he did was go to the kitchen and have a rant in there which didnt sound very professional in the restaurant. I had to request the charge for the chips was deducted from the bill.

Tonight 24 September we visited and we had Exceptional good quality food and excellent service when we are next stopping nearby we will be eating there again.

Bombay potatoes need more flavour and to be smaller but nice meal... Thank you so much

bought a kebab roll to find the smallest pice of kebab ever 3% meat, 7% pepper and 90% bread. chips where very good though

Tandoori King prawn was inedible. As soon as the lid come off the horrendous fishy smell released made it obvious the prawns were gone off, it was awful. Vegetable balti was just a bland sauce with potato and onion in, very disappointing

Delivery driver was great and very friendly! Butter chicken was more like a korma very coconutty and not much flavour. Naan and rice was good though. There isn't much on offer where I am and was good in a pinch when we couldn't find anywhere to eat.

I had read a lot of bad reviews but was pleasantly surprised! The waiters were kind and helpful, and the restaurant was lovely. The food was slightly on the bland side, but very reasonably priced and I had a great evening.

Definition of dirty curry! Sugar, salt, and god know what. Awful food. If you know your curry, you will know that this dish place clearly needs a professional chef! Ordered Lamb Dansak, Lamb Achari, shish kebab shaky kebab and some other dishes - quite honestly I never had such a bad curry! Do not recommend this place! Waste of £45 - oh well, at a least it helps my diet not eating tonight!

Takeaway. No pilau rice with a main dish. All very luke warm. Bombay aloo (my favourite) very poor, halved spud in a curry sauce All in all very disappointing and not the usual standard

Easy to order on line, delivered bang on the expected time. Ordered chips but got a bag full of 8 delicious onion bhagis instead, not complaining, probably a better option than chips tbh, accompanied the rest of my order perfectly. Food was delicious, would definitely order from there again and highly recommend 👍🤗

Just moved to the area so we tried the Spice Garden as it’s our nearest Indian takeaway. Unfortunately the food was bland, congealed instead of creamy and extremely sugary. Texture of sauce was strange. Naan was soggy. Really disappointing. Sorry but we won’t be back.

Don’t mind at all that the Indian was delivered slightly at a later time as I can understand the restaurant was very busy tonight and there were a lot of deliveries. The guy that delivered was lovely and said to enjoy our food which we did.

Excellent catering for vegans, the server was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes. Not only was it well catered, but the food was delicious! Would absolutely recommend if you're on a trip to the coast 🙂
