Slight issue with order but they were quick to resolve it. Food is tasty 😋

Had takeaway this evening, was very tasty.

Calls the restaurant twice got told another 15 mins, 25 mins later still not arrived. Rang again got told 5-7mins still not there in that time. If you order add at least an hour onto the estimated time as that is when you are likely to get your order.

Price of food is ridiculously expensive £5 for 3 burnt onion bhajis doesn’t sit well with me. In comparison with other establishments the food quality is not on par

I must say the time I have always come here, I find the staff and service is world class. The food is 2nd to none! You can really taste the fresh ingredients and meats that are cooked to order that really make this establishment stand out from the rest. Highly recommend in my opinion 10/10

the food prawn curry was runny, seabass was hard not how it used to be. the ham and pineapple pizza wasn't tasted like normal.

Was confused on why the jalfrezi didn’t have sauce .. so rice was dry .. nice flavours though and the wrap was caked in sauce was all over everything wasn’t nice

Really impressed with our order from here; the food arrived early and was piping hot. The quality was very good and the portion sizes of the actually curries were fantastic. We had enough for leftovers the next day. Will definitely order again.

All the food has no taste of Indian food, same color and one spice, just try to serve good food without spoiling the name of Indian food...Those who want to eat Indian food in such hotels should think twice and go

Terrible customer service . Very rude staff espesially the lady. The staffs children using the restaurant as a play ground . Or outside the restaurant playing cricket in the high street. The chef regularly tipping dirty buckets of unknown substances into the drain and out onto the high street while puffing on a cigarette. Serve cold food and very late with order. AVOID!

Excellent delivery driver, polite, early, and took the initiative with finding where I was. Brilliant service. However the same cannot really be said for the food, the chow mein noodles were bland and the beef chewy and a bit tasteless, lamb was chewy, pakora was a bit of a let down, chicken was dry, and the Chinese sauce just didn’t do it for me. I don’t think this is a reflection on the chef as my passanda was perfect. I think it’s a reflection of the overly large and “cater to everyone menu.

We ordered a takeaway to be delivered at 18:55 and it finally turned up after 19:44 with an aggressive driver who on my 3rd call to see if we could cancel was rude and hung up on me saying I'm 2 minutes away. He then proceeded to shout at my husband about the weather conditions slowing him down and whilst he understood that we may be hungry he said we should be more understanding. The driver said the car slid in the wind dispite it being a discovery sport they made a journey we could have walked comfortably in the same time. The food was cold none of it was warmer than 50 degrees a disappointment after the wait and expensive disappointment too considering once microved it was not that enjoyable. The Singapore noodles were so spicy they were not pleasant sadly after a long week at work this fell badly below the level we have previously experienced.

10 of us went there tonight and ate at 18:00 they could not be more helpful, the young lady who served us was very good ( her name was mishu ) I’m not sure that’s spelt right, forgive me if it’s wrong. But the hole staff were very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this friendly, unassuming Indian restaurant. We ordered the Special £14.99 menu and expected smaller portions, as it was starter, main, side and rice. We were surprised by the generous portions of tasty, freshly cooked food and had to ask for doggy bags which were willingly provided! The staff were polite but friendly and made us feel welcome. We would recommend this to any aficionados of Indian cuisine.

I ordered a lamb biryani, and it was disappointing. The rice came in strange colors like red and green, which looked artificial and left stains. The flavor was bland and didn’t live up to expectations. Overall, the food was very average. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for authentic or flavorful biryani.

initial delivery window 19:25 -19:55 delivery time changed to 20:30 after a message to the resturant this update was received. Called the resturant at 20:45 asking for an update to be told the deliver was 5 minutes away. Doorbell rang at 21:00

Food was awful. Poppadoms were soft and soggy. Chicken tikka masala had no flavour to it what so ever. Naan bread was cold. Egg fried rice was all split and in the bag. Never order from here again.

I ordered online, and it was a great experience! The food arrived hot and fresh, and the flavors were just as good as dining in. The portion size was generous, and the packaging kept everything intact. Delivery was quick and the process was smooth. Definitely worth ordering again!

I take no pleasure in writing this but the lovely delivery gentleman asked me to leave a review… I eat a lot of Indian food, in many different places as I travel worldwide for work, I’m afraid that the food I was just served is without any doubt the worst curry I have ever eaten.. Chicken Karahi (requested Asian Style and extra spicy) was an absolutely flavourless, bland watery disgrace - basically base gravy with chicken in and didn’t resemble a karah.. absolutely terrible and waste of of money

Kept telling us on the phone that order was delayed because they were making it fresh. Then 2 hours went by and they cancelled. Turns out they just never made the food? We're very hungry and upset.

Delivery on time, polite driver. Food quality is sub par. Although hot and all here, low quality and lacking in flavour profiles. The takka Dahl is very good, otherwise disappointed from the rest of the food we ordered

The food is delicious. I want to talk about customer service. They go above and beyond for their customers. I ordered for food to be delivered and realised they didn't deliver to my postcode. Did they deliver,yes they did. Did they charge a huge deliver cost,no they didn't. Again the food is fantastic definitely recommend them. when I can drive again, recovering from breaking my leg in five places, I will definitely be collecting food from them. Don't miss out order from them.

The poppadoms were stale, only four king prawns in the curry and food was delivered over 45 minutes late.

Hi I visited taste of India King’s Lynn. Server serve the drinks that were without gas and food was so horrible looks 4 or 5 days before cooked and feel smelly really disappointed. I don’t recommend to anybody don’t go to taste of India King’s Lynn great shame………………..

Amazing service, lovely atmosphere and amazing traditional food. Amazing deals for families and plenty of choice. The owners and servers are very friendly Amazing place to eat.

We have been visiting this restaurant for the past 5 years now, it has always been our go-to, the staff are always incredibly helpful and make you feel welcome and the food is always on point, hot and delicious, highly recommend!!

What to say about this restaurant unfortunately the poor service and attitude of the staff was not the worst part the food came out and the chicken in the curry was still frozen when I asked to replace it the manager started shouting and put hes finger into the frozen chicken before he believed me and wouldn’t replace it and wouldn’t remove it from the bill PLEASE DONT EAT HERE

Definitely the worst indian takeaway we have ever had we ordered 2 jalfrezi's a bhuna and a ceylon and they were all bland the bhuna wasn't cooked properly it was awful. If you know what Indian food should taste like and love it you won't like it here but on the other hand if you want cheap food and don't mind what it tastes like order here. I wish I'd read the reviews as wouldn't have ordered.

We have ordered from this restaurant a handful of times now and both times there has been a delay with delivery. This is obviously acceptable but on both occasions the person who answered the phone at the restaurant was exceptionally rude. The food itself is very good quality however we will only order more locally in future as it is not professional to feel one had to argue when enquiring about a late order.

Lovely food, pleasant staff and quick service, only two stars for atmosphere as I was the only person in there 😅 but this was down to a fairground in the main square and I wouldn't put the restaurant at fault for this, overall a pleasant dining experience 👍

Just had a takeaway meal delivered. Worst meal I’ve had.Poppadoms where sloppy looking tasted as though they were done a couple of days ago.The rice was well presented and nice. The chicken masala was warmish.The chicken itself tasted as though it was precooked and burnt on outside. It really tasted like it was precooked and thrown in a pan to slightly warm up.Not a place I would recommend personally

Food very poor. Onion Bhaji burnt, Tika masala sauce very runny, as was Passanda sauce, more like soup, with very little chicken in either. Naan bread under cooked, and stale, and Poppadoms not crispy, but slightly stale. Not a good experience, will not order again

Please do not waste your money buying food from taste of India! We ordered food at roughly 7pm and it didn’t arrive till 9pm. We rang to see where our food was, staff was abrupt and would say they would call us back to see where our food was but didn’t. We are extremely unhappy with the poor customer service and will not be eating here again. As for the Coke, £5 ridiculous!!!

Worst Indian ever had. Ordered lamb curry which had no flavour whatsoever, mushroom rice which may as well of been onion rice as there was only 2 pieces of mushroom in the dish, chicken tikka naan, don't know where the tikka was and the naan was as dry as anything. Only visiting for a few days and thoroughly disappointed with our experience. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We had a great meal here on a Friday night...no idea why it wasn't busy, though there were plenty of deliveries also being done. I had so much food I couldn't finish it but it was delicious. My husband has a large appetite and did manage to finish his meal...just! The service was great and the waitress very attentive. I was given the remains of my meal to take away with me and thoroughly enjoyed them next day. Would definitely return for a meal here when we next return to my home town. Shame it has changed so much since I was last here.

We tried Lamb biriyani and chicken tandoori along with butter naan. Butter naan was realy delicious, chicken tandoori presentation was really nice. Lamb biriyani was not that much tasty but lamb pieces were very huge quantity. The amount of food was quite ok with avarage taste.the restaurant is spacious with adequate seating arrangements.easy accessibility to arrive in the 'taste of india restaurant' which is near to the kingslynn bus station.please dont go there with too much expectation, but it can satisfy as us in an average way.

Had some Takeaway from taste of India and I ordered Lamb chops and when I had it, it was overcooked almost unedible. The Biryani I had was the same. Chicken was too dry like it was cooked for quite a while.
