We had lunch at this very busy ,dog friendly restaurant. The service was pleasant and efficient and the food was nicely presented. Reasonably priced .

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Sheringham because we were so impressed after our first visit. We had a very warm welcome from the host and the choice of food was excellent. On each occasion, we had three courses and it would be hard to single out a particular dish as all were absolutely delicious, but if we had to - the Mediterranean fish soup with Gruyère croutons would be our favourite. The ambience in the restaurant is very relaxing, while the service is both warm, but professional. I would say that this restaurant offers good value for money given the quality of the food. Would highly recommend, and hope to return.

We love this place, We eat out a lot and this place is so special. It has everything. Lovely food. Fabulous atmosphere and great service. We love the special touches , the paper tablecloths, quirky menus, like nowhere else we have ever been. The crème brûlée last night was absolutely delicious. We have recommended No 10 to all our friends and without exception they love it. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Food was good but the atmosphere and ambience was superb!! Like going back in time. Half French and half traditional British with exceptional mood lighting and music. Felt so special. The little details with quirky table cloths, crockery and wall art transported me somewhere else! Lovely

Absolutely fabulous! We visited with friends to celebrate a birthday and we were blown away by the atmosphere, wonderful food, amazing service and excellent value. The husband, wife and daughter team are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Do visit…you won’t be disappointed!

Probably the best restaurant I have been to in Sheringham. Good quality dishes all round and service with a smile. I recommend the parma ham and asparagus to start with, and the filled steak for mains. Recently went again, the third time in three years, and this continues to be the best restaurant in the area. Loved the beetroot cured salmon with samphire, and the duck confit was amazing. Service top drawer as always! You’ll need to book in advance.

Small restaurant, so book yourself in to this exquisite little foodie heaven. Decor is classy, although modern, it harks back to the 30's and 40's. It's not cheap, but worth every penny if you like chef cooked food...even the bread dip had a reduced and sweetened balsamic so that it can be picked up by the bread. It's that eye for detail and friendly, knowledgeable staff that made the evening special for us. You have to visit this place either for a shared bottle of wine outside or full on delicious meal inside. We 'll be visiting again for sure...they even have their own branded craft beer.

Easily the best restaurant in Sheringham. N.10 has a lovely atmosphere. I appreciated the background music. Can’t go wrong with a bit of Sidney Bechet! It’s obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the menu and the food was fantastic. My son particularly enjoyed the rib of beef 🥩 Thank you for a memorable meal.

We were booked to enjoy a wedding anniversary meal together in our favourite restaurant: ‘No. 10’. Situated at 10 Augusta Street, Sheringham, NR26 8LA, Telephone, 01263 824400 We entered the restaurant where we were warmly greeted by Sonya, the proprietor, who has such a wonderful personality, perfect for the front of house. Yet, as the proprietor of this thriving business, Sonya is at times running the whole show alone, apart from her husband Mustapha, a first class chef in the kitchen. This turned out to be the case the day we visited, but she took everything in her well-practised, efficient stride with a smile on her face. After we had ordered our drinks, it was time to consider the wonderful interesting menu. For starters, Margaret ordered fresh local asparagus wrapped in Pama ham and I ordered fresh crab cake with julienne of vegetables and dill sauce. For our main courses, Margaret ordered the local fillet steak with sauteed potatoes and mushroom duxelle, and I ordered sea bass with courgette, new potatoes, and cherry tomatoes. We were both delighted with the taste of the starters, my crab cake was smothered in a delicious sauce that added a beautiful flavour to the crab cake. Margaret enjoyed her starter, then raved about the piece of fillet steak that was cooked rare and prepared exactly right for her taste. My sea bass was cooked to a delicious melt in the mouth consistency and again the flavours imparted by Mustapha, the chef and husband of Sonya, were absolutely wonderful. For our desserts, Margaret had creme brulee on a compote of summer fruit and berries. I settled for Affogato, which is vanilla ice cream, topped with hot espresso coffee, something I have never tried before, that was absolutely perfect after my splendid meal. Margaret and I would thoroughly recommend this wonderful exclusive little restaurant to anyone who is visiting, or plans to stay in the beautiful small town of Sheringham in North Norfolk.

Just had a week in Sherringham and eaten out most nights. We had a fabulous meal, by far the best place to eat in town. We would have eaten there every night if we had chosen No 10 first.

We had the most delicious meal here on a Friday evening. The atmosphere was very relaxed, the service was most attentive and the food was sublime. Highly recommended!

I don’t believe it! What an amazing experience, the ambiance is great. The food is extremely well thought out with great flavours, the Chef has some considerable talent. The presentation is very good, great service. What you need to know is that, you guys who live here or are visiting have London on your door step, You won’t be disappointed, give it a try. VM

Good quality food, very tasty Menu small but sure it could satisfy all tastes. Certainly not a place for kids but went with the old kids and they certainly enjoyed the choices.

Beautiful meal out. Excellent food and wine and personal service from the owner and staff. The venue is quite small, with only around 25-28 seats. Creates a lovely personal atmosphere. The restaurant is quirky with character. Don’t go here if you’re looking for slick, modern facilities but if you want a lovely family run restaurant this is the place for a great meal. Mains are around £25 per head. I wouldn’t take my kids to eat here as it doesn’t have that vibe but I love it for a romantic meal out or to reconnect with good friends. Small menu but each dish is well thought out and excellently executed. I would travel a long way for the vanilla cheesecake which is light, creamy and smooth. Highly recommend

We are lucky to be able to visit Sheringham on a regular basis. We have visited No 10 several times and this visit was another example of great food served in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The starter was very tasty and the main of fillet steak melted like butter in your mouth. The cheesecake dessert was sublime. Love this place.

We had a fabulous evening in this refreshingly quirky restaurant. Excellent service and local advice, really well cooked food from an interesting menu. I enjoyed belly pork with smoked mash and roasted cod, chorizo and beans. We had desserts because they looked so good when being taken to another table. Wry reasonably priced - highly recommend. Worth going to Sheringham just for this restaurant.

A very pleasant visit to a small but welcoming restaurant. We found the menu imaginative, the food very well prepared, nicely presented and very tasty, and the wines by the glass very acceptable (between us we tried all three reds and enjoyed them). Will certainly return.

I have visited No.10 three times this year and it never disappoints! Whatever we have chosen has always been delicious and the service is friendly and attentive. I don’t eat desserts as a rule but I have to have the cheesecake when I visit this restaurant- it really is perfection! Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back soon.

We love this restaurant and this was our third visit. The food is delicious, beautifully presented and served. We have recommended No10 to all our friends and they have all loved it even the hard to please ones. Just a little bit quirky and different which we love. Already planning our fourth visit. If you like something special you will love No 10.

Left message asking to book table and never received a call back. It grates because I was a loyal customer before and after lockdown and heard all the tales of hardship, etc. Maybe they don’t need the business.

This was my first visit to No 10. I was there with my partner and friends. We were warmly welcomed, and the ambience was really pleasant, with a nice vibe. Other posts mention a limited menu, but we found plenty of choice. Everything we chose was beautifully presented and tasted superb. They were clearly made from fresh ingredients with great thought and care. Maybe reduced choice allows higher quality... just saying... I know which I prefer. I felt it offered excellent value for money. The staff were very attentive and made the evening even more enjoyable joining in the relaxed banter. I have eaten at other restaurants in Sheringham recently, and No 10 is definitely my go-to restaurant for a quality evening out as a couple or with friends.

Best restaurant we've been to all week - perfect

Small and intimate restaurant- nice ambience and friendly welcome. Very limited choice of these sorts of restaurants in Sheringham- despite looking at the menu prior to going and it not inspiring us we walked past it earlier and decided to go. The vegetables were beautifully cooked but tbh none of the starters grabbed us and the main courses were fresh and fine but not amazing. Perhaps we’d been a bit spoilt the night before when we went to the Recruiting Sergeant in Coltishall where the quality and range of food on offer is always 5*. The Shiraz was ok but Merlot better. We had a pleasant evening and the restaurant is quirky and gorgeous but the menu from our perspective needs a bit more variety.

This cosy, owner managed restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step across the threshold. Sonya and her daughter Tilda will be there to greet and seat you and to take time to chat with you. The menu is simple, comprising fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. All dishes are lovingly prepared from scratch in the restaurant's kitchen. We were a table of 5 and our tasty and varied choices of starters are in the photos. I'd recommend the lamb kofta on a bed of couscous and the roasted peppers with goat's cheese. No. 10 offers 3 fish dishes on their summer menu. I had the plaice and my wife had the cod, both of which were absolutely delicious. A vegetable dish for the table, comprising carrots and broccoli was perfectly cooked. The desserts too are great. We'd recommend the cherry & almond tart and the Crème Brûlée. Service is excellent, we were addressed by name having introduced ourselves on arrival to the vivacious Sonya. 5 stars in all categories. Highly recommend and great value. Will definitely return.

We had dinner here on a Saturday evening recently - glad we booked as the restaurant soon filled up. A nice friendly welcome and as requested a quiet table for two near the bar. Excellent service and the background jazz music enhanced the French bistro type amosphere! We enjoyed our meal, though not outstanding, it was attractively presented. Howevet, we thought the £100 plus bill for two was very expensive

What a gem of a place. Sonya who is front of house is clam, relaxed, fun with a sense of professional, the perfect hostess. The place is full of nostalgia and quirky elements. We went as a group of four for dinner on Thursday June 15th. The food is exceptional with generous portions, well presented and very tasty. Highly recommend this place as someone to go when you visit Sheringham.

No.10 is the most delicious place to dine in Sherringham. Perfect place for a date night to a lovely get together with friends or family evenings only. Returning each year Sonya is always on form the service is exceptional which compliments the food, Absolutely delicious! The menu is seasonal which is always filled with local produce. Adapting to dietary needs a bonus there is no shellfish used, as we have a shellfish allergy. I enjoy a starter & main but the puddings are perfected, with the options of liquor coffees, love the Calipso! No.10 is the sweetest chic restaurant you will not be disappointed! One of my returning favs along the North Norfolk Coastline.

We arrived and promptly seated in this small restaurant with very good atmosphere. The food however wasn’t up to the same standard would class it as adequate home cooking. The asparagus starter was over cooked and limp, the fillet main course over cooked and the dauphinois dry. The other dishes for our party were again not brilliant. They did offer to re-do my steak but that doesn’t work when you want to eat it all together … get it right first time please Can’t see us returning

I had the pleasure of eating in Sonya and Mustafa's restaurant tonight, and the meal was a revelation: everything from the bread, to the chutney, to the deserts were hand-made with artistry and precision. Sonya was a generous and attentive host, and the space itself is elegant, personal, and stylish. I wish I had come before: it is my new favourite restaurant in the UK. Thank you.

An absolutely wonderful evening was had at this restaurant. The food was magnificent: a flavourful fish soup starter, followed by a fillet steak with dauphinoise potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables. The service was also excellent. Our hostess (who I believe may been the owner) was extremely helpful and gracious. Overall one of the best restaurant experiences I've had!

We went for a family birthday and loved this place, great atmosphere, server was really lovely and food was delicious. I’m gluten and dairy free and they kindly catered for me and I even got a vanilla cheesecake, really appreciated their care.
