Good beer. A bit expensive. Uncomfortable if it gets really busy.

This is an ABSOLUTELY SMASHING fish and chip shop, with its owner fully dedicated to providing you some of the crispiest most delicious fish suppers in the city. The portions are generous and the quality is excellent, you can tell that they are festidious in their cleanliness standards here because every surface shines and you can taste the difference in the quality of the food. The chips are hot and delightful to enjoy, the fish is golden, and so good in quality that you'd compare it closer to something beer-battered in a summertime pub garden dinner than something you've collected on your way home from work during rush hour! Another tip: Try the curry sauce! Sure it's a little different in its consistency to the traditional chip shop curry sauce, but I'm pretty sure this is home made and it's absolutely magical. In what seems a very modest surroundings, the team here at Bishop Bridge should be proud of themselves at the quality of their food, the positivity of their service and how they are creating their own little island of amazingness at the edge of the city.

ordered food at 12:30pm ,after an hour tried to cancel with restaurant twice and still at 2:03pm food had arrived at address, I was basically lied to saying food had left ages ago when all of a sudden at 150pm food was marked as with delivery driver on way, I'm absolutely gutted especially due to being lied to and say to restaurant I have to be somewhere very important!!!

Great pub, great atmosphere, a good traditional local

Lovely pub, went out for an anniversary dinner. The drinks and food were reasonably priced. Serving staff were lovely and everything we had was delicious, special mention to the Steak Pie, we will be back!

The food is tasty, only the schnitzels were a bit hard and the portions were small. The only big minus is that the restaurant is cold, it could be warmer after coming out of the cold, there were no people at all on Saturday evening. Service 100 points, very nice.❤️

If you pass through Epping, don't miss this place, cozy, good service, and excellent food, a place to go with the family or alone! I recommend it 100%

Came in during a quiet time. Best fish and chips sit-down meal I've had. Crispy batter with fresh cod and crispy chips. Really recommend it!

Very enjoyable Sunday afternoon meal in this chic eaterie. Good menu with lots of variety and vegetarian choices, shame some dishes not available on a Sunday. We were told one of the meals was mild but it was so spicy sister in law couldn't eat it, resolved by the staff with no fuss at the time. Pil pil prawns were so good! Like most places now it is expensive and drinks really push the bill up but for a one off as a celebration it was nice.

I orderd a vegetarian quiche but when it arrived it had bacon inside, thankfully I realised before eating it, I was then brought a cheese quiche which had clearly been microwaved , the pastry was awful and the filling was weird , not much of an apology given either, I didn’t make a fuss as I could see they were busy , but I won’t visit again.

The food is always to the highest standard. I have ordered multiple times and the quality of food never changes. Will always recommend this restaurant!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Great place, awesome people working there and marvelous food. Only place where me and my husband eat doner meat and chips, and I completely love their cheesy chips because it is actually cheesy not like other places put a drizzle of cheese. Service us awesome as my husband just calls and they recognise him even if we haven't ordered for 6 months and they remember our order. 😊 We drive from our home for 25-30min to get their food ☺️
