Love meat? This place does it! What kind? All the kinds! (Well all the socially accepted kinds to eat in the uk: sheep, pig, cow, chicken). Cooked in all sorts of ways in a never ending buffet and all kinds of cuts from rump steak to chicken heart. Watch as steaks are carved off right before your eyes and you get to grab it! Its not just meat though... there's also this insanely good cinnamon pineapple (and a salad bar). Estabulo house red wine is incredibly smooth and totally compliments the juicy steaks. Very attentive waiters because they are always walking round with the goodies. For the best deal, go on a weekday at lunch time. From how full you are able to get, dinner time is still great value if that's not possible. Chicken heart was over seasoned for my liking (too garlicky) and the garlic steak was too garlicky for me. It may not sound like it, but I love garlic though not when that's the only flavour you can taste when biting into meat.

The Sizzle to My Steak: An Ode to Ines at Estabula Norwich Where do I even meat-gin to describe the rare experience I had with Inez at Estabula Norwich? This absolute prime cut of a human being served up not just a meal but a full-on culinary rumpus that left me grill-ionaire levels of satisfied. From the moment we walked in, Ines was all steaks and no sizzle—her service was hotter than a cast iron skillet, and her energy was so well done it could light up the room. Her steak recommendations were a cut above, and her knowledge of the menu was as sharp as a carving knife. Seriously, she’s the filet mignon of servers! When I hesitated on my sides, Inez beefed up my confidence with the perfect pairing advice—those truffle fries? Absolutely un-brie-lievable! She even handled my dad joke about the cow crossing the road (to get to Estabula, obviously) with the kind of patience that’s truly grate—a true steakhouse legend. The pièce de résistance? Ines’ ability to handle a dining room full of people like a T-boss. Whether it was raising the steaks with her charm or making us laugh with her rib-tickling sense of humour, she made every moment unforgettable. I left feeling as if I’d just had dinner with a friend who also happened to be a Michelin-star-level server. If you’re wondering whether to visit Estabula Norwich, let me tell you: don’t be a mis-steak. And if Ines is your server? Well, you’re in for the prime of your life. Estabula, you’ve got yourself a sir-loinheart in Ines—whatever you’re paying her, it’s not udderly enough. Bravo!

My son and I went here for Christmas lunch.he has been before with friends bring meat lovers and when I saw they were open Christmas day I had no qualms about booking there. As a non meat eater I wasn't sure what there would be on offer but they catered for everyone. It was the best experience ever, lovely Christmas atmosphere, busy but not chaotic, excellent customer service, friendly helpful staff, complimentary prosecco on arrival. Excellent food, complimentary dessert which looked lovely but we were too full .....I'm sure my son will go there again during the year with friends but all being well we will be there again next Christmas day......15/10 .....thank you estabulo and your lovely staff.....

A delicacy of gods. A cold buffet with kale salads, broccoli, coleslaw, etc. Personal atmosphere and food. Grilled meat turning all the time🤗🤩. The best lamb and steak and pork. Maybe because it was Saturday evening and it was quite busy but I felt the service was quite slow and by the time the skewers got to us they were almost gone. I will definitely give Estabulo another go on a less busy night as the food we did have was great.

Ok. I LOVE this place. So things you should know: 1. It's not an 'order a dish/get your food' restaurant. You pay per head, get your (token) salad... they bring meat... in cycles. It's always good. 2. Vegetarians may need not apply. 3. You'll lose to the kitchen, it's an unfair contest. But they win with the dignity of amazing meat. 4. Vegetarians need not bother. 5. The wine is good. But the meat is better. 6. On a date, the seat is a booth, leave your coats at the front desk.

Myself and three friends went to Estabulo for a friend's birthday meal to this restaurant on 2nd November. Two of our party (from different households) became TERRIBLY sick with food poisoning, and were bed-ridden for days with vomiting and diarrhoea. After liaising with my friends, we established that the one thing we ate which must have caused this food poisoning was the peppercorn sauce on the buffet, as it was only eaten by the two of us that became seriously ill. The food on the buffet was poorly heated, only being lukewarm, so I would guess that the sauce had gone-off, as it contained cream. We reached out to the restaurant to let them know what happened, and two weeks later we never heard back from them. Incredibly overpriced, for what is distinctly average food, and it certainly wasn't worth spending 3 days in bed in agony for. Please to anyone reading this review - AVOID. We are all young and in good health, I would hate for someone older or infirm to suffer the very severe food poisoning we suffered. Also - as soon as we sat down at the table, the staff were practically begging us to leave a positive view online in return for a drink, so I would imagine many of the positive reviews here are fake.
