Great place, good service and delicious pizza having with beer.

Had a pizza at the Stanley in Norwich. I will grant a bit of leeway and say we ordered 20 mins before the kitchen closed but my experience was inexcusable. All the food came out in a timely manner but my pizza was so burnt it was near inedible. All I could taste was charcoal and my wife ended up donating 2 of her slices to me so I had something to eat. Even then, it wasnt much better and I was left with the sweet taste of charcoal instead of tomato cheese and pepperoni. Bitterly disappointed and then we were offered 50% off 1 of the pizzas which did not feel justified compared to how much of the pizzas we could actually eat. Do not recommend at all. Terrible experience especially on my birthday. I would like to add I could not fault the experience of the Stanley team as they were great.

Food was nice. Not amazing but good pizza. Staff were very cold and uncaring it seemed. Waitress made it seem like every request was a massive task making us feel very awkward. I would go again if I was taking away but this is certainly not a nice dining in experience with a cramped inside segment and uncomfortable metal seats.

Stumbled across Brick today on a visit to Norwich and while strolling through the market stools, went in for lunch and what a great choice ended up to be! Service was good, just think the paying before and expecting a tip before getting to know the service and trying the food works against you guys, food wise...... What a good surprise, went in not expecting much from a pizza place, but how wrong was I!!!! Had one off the best pizzas I have ever had, dough really light, not heavy like some of big franchises around, really good good pizzas and really good experience, will definitely recommend and will definitely go back next time I get to visit Norwich! Keep up with the good work, you guys have something to be very proud of!

Pizza is great and the garden behind is a nice venue to eat in, but waited 45 minutes for a single margarita which isn’t ideal when you’re on a work lunch break

The restaurant was busy when we arrived, but service was excellent and all pizzas freshly made to order. I highly recommend the white based ones - I had one with gorgonzola and ham and it was really tasty. I also like that you can buy hand made frozen pizzas from there to take away with you. A great place for lunch!

Service is so fast, that you might be mistaken to think that Flash is making the pizza. Tasty, yum yum. Try one.

The food is good, the atmosphere is nice, but we waited 40 minutes for the pizza we bought and the customers who came after us ate their food first and got up and left.

Delicious pizza. Very much recommended. Had the matela which was lovely. With some crust dippers, which is a great idea (some weren't available at the of review, but the ones we had were excellent) Also a nice touch, especially on a hot day, was a cool bottle of water and glasses provided immediately once seated. Also appreciated was the Aircon 😎👍 It was a very decent sized pizza and happily filled me up.

Great little hustle bustle pizza place that feels authentic. Could easily be tucked down a side street in Rome, just with Norwich accents!

Best pizza joint in Noz, hands down, accept no compromises.

We have brick all the time as it's convenient when sitting in the pub, delicious toppings flavour is all there lovely staff etc. HOWEVER the pizza is always super sloppy, like the base isn't cooked enough. When you pick it up all of the toppings fall off. This may be because the heat is too high and it's not cooking the base properly, or there is too much oil? A sturdy base would be incredible, pls look into it as it seems to be getting worse!

The food at brick pizza was absolutely amazing which is why it's a real shame that the abysmal service let it down. Came on Saturday night, stood at the door for at least 5 minutes with none of the staff making any effort to greet us, felt very awkward and unwelcomed in the restaurant. When a member of our party went over and spoke to a member of staff they turned around and ignored her. Despite the restaurant being fairly small and there being many staff, felt messy and disorganised with dirty plates left on tables and no one making any effort to clear them. The staff made the experience feel very awkward, and so despite the pizza being really great I would not return to this restaurant.

The boys and girls and very understanding and helpful towards our intolerance to milk. Our Vegan cheese Garlic bread was incredible and my other half's pizza 🍕 to die for. By far 'the best pizza in Norwich' mark my words. Sorry for the picture, only one slice felt Lol

O. M. G. Had this delivered to an Airbnb as unfortunately I don’t live in Norwich and was only in town for a short time. SPECTACULAR pizza. Had the Manca and the Veggie and some dough balls. Absolutely delicious. Manca was an unbelievable standout. Thanks Brick!!

The food is wonderful and I can't complain at all.

Really don't understand what has happened to Brick, unsure if things are starting to go to pot a bit since partnering up with the pub next door and offering pizzas to take-away? The atmosphere inside the restaurant has become rather... weird and the staff are fairly cold with customers. We went in and were told that they 'couldn't take any more orders for 15 minutes' despite the restaurant being relatively empty. We sat down and waited a good while (probably about 20mins) to have our orders taken. To their credit when we did place an order the food came relatively quickly and the pizzas were fine but sloppy in the centre. What was really strange was hearing the team there turn away possibly the most customers I've ever seen from the restaurant. They don't operate bookings so it's walk in only. Countless people (maybe 50 or so in the space of an hour?) streamed through the door and gazed quickly at the menu only to be promptly told 'sorry we can't take any more orders for 2 hours' or it would be 'an hour and a half's wait'. You could see people were baffled by this given the restaurant space itself was pretty much empty. Whether it's inadequate staffing or a prioritisation of takeaway/pub orders over people wanting to sit in their actual restaurant I don't know, but either way it's not a great look for Brick.

Late in the evening we crashed in through the door hoping to catch last orders. The staff were polite and accommodating and very chill: have a seat, we will bring you amazing pizza. They could see we were hungry and a little sozzled from a bit of sunny day drinking, and happily went through the menu with us. Quickly three large pizzas were ordered and three arrived swiftly and were scoffed almost too quickly as well but I certainly had time to appreciate this pizza for what it is. Best in Norwich. I'll say it again. Best in Norwich. Don't be afraid to just get some.

Overall its a quality pizza place, however, service depends on who you get. Previously i have had outstanding service, but lately the server seemed to be less engaged with customers which is sad.

Absolutely lovely staff, AMAZING pizza (I had the walnut, fig, gorgonzola and honey pizza- such lovely flavours) and a sweet atmosphere. Amazing location, have been coming for years and will continue to. Only issue with atmosphere is that anyone getting a takeaway pizza comes inside to order, which is directly next to the tables (as it’s such a small space- cosy but close!), so if you’re at the tables directly next to the cashier desk, you’ll be in the face of everyone ordering their takeaway orders too. My friend is dairy-free and also highly rates Brick!

Me and my husband had lunch here. My pizza was fantastic however my husbands pizza came out much later (we were the only people) and the bottom was all burnt. Really sad. Will go somewhere else next time

Excellent pizza and delightful service.

Had a meal 2 weekends in a row and completely different experiences. The first one service was excellent and food was amazing, we had a great experience but the second was completely horrible. Rude waitress, made us pay in advance and served us with an overcooked pizza nearly burnt (see pictures) I thought we finally had a good pizza restaurant but with this second experience I won’t be coming back

The epitome of authentic, wood fired pizza. Perfectly executed, with friendly and efficient service; it's in expensive too! I took my three kids, we shared 2 pizzas, a dough balls, 2 cokes a d 2 apple juices and this came to a very reasonable £40! I have since visited again for lunch during a shopping trip with my daughter and had an equally great experience. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Very good pizza sauce, good quality ingredients, well thought oven, but over cooked pizza, mine was burnt, I had to leave the edges while I like eating them. It’s shame, I won’t comeback!

Great pizza but delivery is a joke , not the first time this has happened . Ordered pizza 6:50 pm arrived 8:45 Nearly 2hrs to get a pizza Friday night is not good enough. Wouldn't order on the app again. Will try uber eats next time or walk into town and get from the restaurant then walk home it would be quicker

The experience started out good, we came in stairs down and the waitress with the black hair brought us a jug of water straight away. The vibe inside is cute with the candles but our experience quickly turned south. The chef also made fun of my friends dairy allergy. Please educate yourself because there can be milk in some meat ingredients such as pepperoni and chorizo. Stating "dairy free as if it has cheese in it" then sniggering infront of her face was inconsiderate and made us feel uncomfortable. Despite there only being two of us and the restaurant being practically empty our pizzas came out 5 minutes apart. When people are dining together especially in small groups and an empty restaurant there shouldn't be any issues of bringing food out together. The pizza was good but very very oily.

Ate in at the feted Brick last night - first time here. The pizzas are great - "best ever" according to some of the younger diners in our party of 10. Not quite up there with my most memorable, but the dough was good and the toppings varied and well judged. The bill was reasonable when you consider the climate restaurants are operating in. We were lucky to get the only table just big enough for most of us, pinned up against the counter, with some of the kids on a nearby table. It was super-busy, being Saturday evening, so we expected a bit of a wait, but it took pretty much a full hour for our food to arrive once ordered. We could see smaller parties who'd arrived after us getting their food before us, and stacks of boxes being prepared for takeaway, meaning that the door was constantly opening for Deliveroo riders and delivery of pizzas to the pub next door. Had to ask for water repeatedly before some finally arrived. I guess the challenge for places like this which are predominantly takeaway joints with some seating is that the experience for eat-in diner's isn't going to be the most relaxing - especially on a cold winter's night when sitting next to the door. Just something for other families to be aware of!

Never fails to impress. Real pizza. Tried the special. Mozzarella, beetroot, honey and horseradish. With walnuts and goats cheese. Lovely.

The tastiest pizza I've had in Norwich and probably in the whole of the UK. The hostess is very friendly and helpful, truly adorable. When we arrived, there was no table because the place is small but we were invited to wait outside for a few minutes until a table became available and was cleaned. It was definitely worth the wait! I highly recommend this place and I already want to eat their exquisite pizzas again.

Very good and reliable service provided

The delivery is TERRIBLE - don’t bother! I’ve had two dreadful experiences and now won’t use Brick again. The first time they delivered over an hour late, which ruined my daughter’s birthday. Her and her 3 year old cousin were starving by the time the food arrived. The most recent experience was just as bad. I placed an order at 6pm on a Saturday and paid. I was expecting pizzas to be delivered for the 4 hungry teenage boys around 7:30pm. At 7:20pm I happened to check my email and found a message in my spam folder saying the order had been cancelled at 7pm. No one would pick up the phone at the delivery branch, and when I called the restaurant to speak to the manager/owner, they never called back. Seriously disappointing and such poor customer service. Never again

I would 100% recommend going to the Brick Pizza restaurant because the pizza is great. But their delivery service is probably the worst that I’ve ever experienced from any delivery service anywhere. Tonight we ordered our pizzas at 5:30pm to make sure that we missed the evening rush. The latest delivery time estimated was 7pm. At 7:10pm there was no sign of the pizzas and the no one was answering the phone. At 7:15pm we got a notification to say that our pizza order had been cancelled. This is not the first time that a situation like this has occurred. I will never order takeaway from Brick ever again. What an absolute shambles.

Superb pizza. Good price. Relaxed environment. Not much seating inside but if you time it right and outside peak hours you’ll get a seat. Left feeling full and satisfied. Highly recommended

A regular lunchtime go-to. Still is and always will be the best pizza in Norwich. Many have tried to beat it, many will fail. Yet to find a pizza spot to come close. 🙌🏻

Best pizza I've had in a long time.

I love this place because their pizza is the best and the quality is similar to the Italian pizza. Also, the staff is friendly and professional. My favourite pizza is Margherita with n'duja and rocket. This place is dog friendly.

Popped on on a whim with a friend, I went for a pepperoni pizza, and a beer. The pizza was fantastic, cooked to perfection and I ate all of it including the crust, beer was good too and the service was excellent. Very enjoyable and great little spot!

Decided to take work colleagues for a pint at the Garnett and then have a pizza at Brick. It was incredibly busy so we had quite a wait for a table as we didn’t want to eat in the pub. Anyway, staff were great and pizzas were as good if not better, than anywhere else in Norwich. Definitely 5*

Delicious pizza - one of the best I’ve had in the last few years, including a recent one in Italy! I had the pepperoni, but the ham & mushroom and the Margherita were both excellent too. The only issue was the length of time it took to get our pizzas - 30 minutes seemed like a long time when we were hungry!

Fantastic pizza in a small personal setting. Friendly staff & fabulous food. Found this by accident & would definitely go back if I visit Norwich again.

The pizza was alright (nice charring on the crust and the base) but unfortunately the service was slow, drinks that were supposed to be cold were not and there wasn’t enough space to eat inside so we had to eat outside in their garden which got rather chilly. We also waited 30 minutes for our food, and other tables got served before us, despite arriving after us.

The best Pizza. Very small and difficult with two small dogs but they were very helpful. right in the Market so very convenient and full of atmosphere.

Heard really good things about brick pizza . Thought I’d take my daughter as she’s a big fan of pizza as she’s 6. Paid before we got food I thought it was normally after so when tip option came up I declined as didn’t know the service I would get (good job in hindsight )little one won’t eat whole pizza so got half and half , well it came with out a smile from waitress .little one took one bite and it was covered , drenched in chilli oil . Took it back and just got a shrug , I thought the staff were very unhelpful all young girls who looked like they didn’t want to be there .spent the next 10 mins cooking little ones mouth down . Emailed with my grievance got a could really be arsed emailed back . Won’t go there again saporita is better

Best pizza this side of Napoli!

Amazing flavours, well cooked, friendly gaff, cannot complain. The perfect place for a quick bite in the centre of Norwich. The heat on the dynamite was not mouth-blowingly hawtttt, and the cheese on the Emiliano was well balanced. The staff have an eye for detail and will not serve junk. That’s for sure. Definitely recommended.

We don't live locally but always have to visit here when we come to Noriwh and they never dissapoint! We had the carbonara pizza and a garlic and cheese bread, both were amazing, especially the garlic bread and the chilli oil on the tables was a great addition. All the staff were lovely too.

The restaurant itself is fairly tiny and not all that atmospheric, but they've got a gorgeous garden out back with nice tables and a great view of a lovely old church as well as The Forum. Outstanding pizza, with some original and tasty toppings as well as great thin (but not crispy) crust and rich sauce.

Brick is an absolute treasure. Having an Italian wife, she's very particular about her pizza. In fact, she has a song that goes, "pizza pizza pizza, all the world is pizza." So, Brick has the Italian seal of approval.

Good place to eat wood fired Pizza with thin crust, available with interesting toppings and at reasonable price. Tried fresh and creamy pizza with tomato sauce base with burrata cheese and rocket leaves. It was tasty indeed, also tried veggie option with olives and other veggies and it was tasty too. Good place for vegetarians and vegans, the glass of red wine served was good.

10/10 Best Pizza in Norwich, it may even be as good as Naples! Great selection, atmosphere and service with a smile. We have found our new Pizza place :)

Best pizza in town. Can be slow to arrive, but location (by the market) is very small and often very busy so not a real complaint. So nice to sit with a quality pie and watch the bustle go by. Quality goods.

Had the special pizza crab ‘n’ go. Crab with a bit of a kick. I can say it is up there with one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The place is not fancy but who cares when the food is this good.

Amazing pizzas all the time the venue is small and some times you have to wait for a table but it is so worth it . If you can grab the stalls by the widow and watch the world go by. Every Pizza is great Napoli and Marinara are my personal fav

Having had a very good experience previously, we ordered a takeaway of four pizzas, dough balls and sides of chips. The chips were delicious. The pizzas were swimming in oil and lukewarm. The dough balls were burnt. The additional topping of parmesan was fairly tasteless.
