The best restaurants in East of England

The staff were wonderful the waiting staff especially. We got a greeting and a goodbye as we left. The fish and chips were fresh. However, maybe we have been spoiled, but the batter was a bit too well done for us. We like batter lighter. The cod was white and fresh. Unfortunately the southern fried chicken although lovely came in a bun with mayonnaise and salad. My son wasn't expecting that and had to scrape it out. Great restaurant with lots of choices of fish. But not for us.

My wife and I love this restaurant. We've gone twice and it's been great both times. It was busy the 2nd time, but the first time we were there it was only us and the owner was incredibly nice to us and our kids, which really made the experience for us. We did appetizers, entrees, and dessert and they were all worth it for sure!

Best chips shop I’ve ever been to, been a loyal customer for years. The curry sauce is unbeatable and the family that run the shop are the kindest people. 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for chips shop for dinner, lunch and they have a £5.50 meal deal with all the best bits of the shop. Clearly, a homemade pie and the ham was freshly cut. Paige was super busy but the perfect hostess for the place. What a cracking pub! Will definitely be back at some point.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!VIEWS, ATMOSPHERE & all the staff,I can't even start to describe them.Had a wedding there on the weekend & boy was it a place to remember.I've been to 3 & 4 star venues but I think this venue deserves a 5 *.I take my hat off to all the staff,working from the morning till nearly midnight and didn't show any signs of giving up.So much so,my wife & I asked for a cup of tea & we had it bought out to us without any hesitation!Loved every bit of it & I would recommend this venue for anyone!👍👍👍

We go here evreytime we visit watton in my opinion it's the best sausage and chips we have ever had and I've been eating here for about 8 to 10 years never disappoint

We're always popping in for breakfast or lunch. The staff are so friendly and the food is always lovely. We love that we can buy cakes to take home too.
