Always been my favourite fish & chips but last few times the sausage in batter hasn’t been up to standard! Tasted of fish today! I know it a fish & chip shop but if I wanted fish I’d of ordered fish! Want a sausage to taste of sausage! Last time batter wasn’t cooked through and another time batter was dried out! Not crispy!

Buy from here regularly and usually good, but have tried the skate now on 3 occasions and it’s been small, hardly any fish and over cooked. Definitely won’t be buying again as it’s not worth the £12

It’s expensive (-star) but high quality and good portions. Could be less expensive with less food to make it more affordable. I spent £40 of four 2 fish, cod bites, burger, a large chips and a medium chips. Cod bites are more like small fish, at least 8 cm long per bite. You get more fish with cod bites than portion of fish. Burger was too messy and not well made (-1 star because it was so messy it detracted from enjoyment). Fast efficient service.

I just bought chicken wings from this shop. I always get food from here like fish and wings and until now I had no problems but the wings I got today were spoiled. It tasted like it's gone bad and they cooked it anyway. Not all of them. I ate one that tasted bad and threw the other ones.I just hope I do not get food poisoning. I should have gone back to them to tell them but I was in a rush for school run. I won't be buying again from here unfortunately.

Absolutely horrible management! I tried calling numerous times to try and speak to the manager about making a bulk order, but the MANAGER himself hung up on me without even letting me SPEAK! Ridiculous! Completely ridiculous that you would not even let a person speak to explain to you why I was even calling. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

Disappointing meal, saveloy brown with a very weird smell not pink like a saveloy should be, had to throw away. Cod had crispy batter but hardly any fish, costly meal for what we ate.

The order was supposed to arrive between 1825 and 1845 and by 1910 still had not arrived When I finally got through to the restaurant, the person who answered the phone was rude and abrupt and basically told me I had to wait another 45 minutes When I said I wish to cancel the order , he said I had to get the refund from just eat Because the restaurant had marked my food as been delivered , the cancel option on just eat was no longer there so I had to contact them and now am awaiting the email So at this point I don't know when or if I'll get my refund for £49 worth of food I never got , the restaurant got annoyed that I dared to phone up asking for my food and then made it difficult to get a refund Will never oder from these idiots again as they have no idea about customer service or even commin decency

We decided to have the cod, chips and sauces with mushy peas, they kindly swapped the curry sauce with tomato sauce instead. It was delicious as usual, I highly recommend this restaurant they are very kind and caring to their customers!

Was in the area on a Sunday and fancied fish and chips, and this was the only chippy open. However probably the best fish and chips I’ve had in a fair while. Large cod was massive, cooked to order with a light batter and very tasty. Big portion of perfectly cooked chips. I would definitely visit again.

The saveloys were utterly disgusting the meat was grey and inedible. The fish and chips were fine but sorry to say those saveloys was the worst.

Popped in to pick up a sausage in batter, savaloy and chips. They were super quick and the food was delicious and a good price too. Will defiantly be going back as this was my 2nd visit and met my expectations again. Sorry no pics and it was finished before I remembered lol!

I recently had some take away from them, I like what I received, large fish is pretty decent size and fried crispy, potato chips like any other fish & chips product but chicken wings were large and tasty, I am happy with my purchase and the service I received....👌

Asked for a large cod and got given x1 medium & x1 small with no communication Paid for a large , quite disappointing as was expecting a large thick piece of cod and never got it.

Ordered the family meal 1 and 2 sausage in batter was charged more then the menu stated and was missing beans and coleslaw when I rang them to see if they were left in the delivery drives car was informed they don't have any even tho when I ordered the food 45 minutes before there was no mention about them not having the food.

As usual the fish and chips and mushy peas from this restaurant are fresh and delivered with a smile. Thank you!
