As chip shops go this is by far one of the best I’ve had, popped in the other day on a recommendation from a friend and I’m glad I did, quality fish and chips at a very reasonable price 🙏🏽

I have been to Mr Chippy in the last couple of days and when i did...my god the fish and chips from Mr Chippy are absolutly gorgeous. The best i have ever eaten.. Cod cooked to perfection and the chips are absolutly perfect Curry sauce is to die for, totaly gorgeous. I wouldnt buy fish and chips anywere else because these are the very best, I have been using Mr Chippy ever since 1993 and they are still the best ever. 100% feedback and well done Mr Chippy for being the ultimate best. Hopefully Mr Chippy will carry on for a lot more years and still produce the very best Fish and Chips.

Simply one of the most consistent and one of the best chippys I have ever had. The chips are always excellent, the fish is always the very best I have had, it's flakey and crunchy! Very impressed with the business acumen of the owners. For 11 years I have been a customer and find myself comparing other fish and chips to this one. A+ business. Prices are very reasonable and as a family of 4 we find this the cheapest and the best local take away in the area. A credit to the owners!

The BEST Fish & Chips shop around. I've been coming here since the late 90s as a kid and it never disappoints. The food is always cooked fresh. The couple who own it work so hard and always so friendly. To top it all off it's literally the cheapest by some way, to the point where you actually want them to put their prices up! Note: Cash only.

Always good Fish & Chips here, must be good, normally a Q outside, dinner time & tea time. You won't be disappointed.

Best fish and chip shop for many years

One of the best chip shops I’ve been to for a.while, coming from a northern chip cob culture, although though peas & gravy are missing in action the curry sauce redeems this, great battered sausage I’ll be back.

Highly disappointing, used this shop for years but moved , popped in as in the area and wished I hadn’t, Chips needed new oil or they were last night warmed up . As for the sav YUK. Will not be calling in again .

A very retro chip shop it gave me memories of the good old days in the 80s and 90s. Price not to bad Cod & chips I think I paid £7.50 Old man on serving the fish n chips seems just okay in terms of friendliness

I received a random phone call from "Mr Chippy." I called back to question who was phoning me, and I received verbal abuse from the woman who answered the phone. Even if this was a simple mistake when dialling a number, the poor attitude from this member of staff was appalling!

Best chippy this side of the water. Been looking for a chippy for a long time and nothing beats this one. The batter in the fish isn’t sickly, the chips are great and the service was great too. When getting home to find the savaloy wasn’t in the bag, we drove back to get it, only to be given some extra chips and extra savaloy! Well worth a 15 min drive to get this food and service ☺️

The fish portion just fit an adult dinner. Not much taste for the fish but it should be the norm here in UK.

I've been using this place for well over a year now and it was the best in the area, but just lately, the standard has dropped quite a bit. ... The fish isn't as big as it used to be and the chips look good until you get them home and unwrap them - they are very greasy, and that applies to the fish. ... No more crispy batter on the cod. .... Sort this out Mr Chippy, or I will go elsewhere !!

Well here's a surprise looks of the shop are slightly deceiving from the outside but service is very good and the food is excellent for a great price. Highly recommended and I shall return.

Definitely the best fish and chips in the area .the only trouble is I don’t know the hours they are open 3 times have had to trek only to find them closed it and the times have been between 12pm to 4pm.Please update your times and indicate clearly the time you are open

Worst service i had in my life,non-hygienic,touching food by hands,i was asking for tissues they offer me wrapping paper,and also i have been told that asking for tissues is asking for too much.Terrible service.I can’t recommend this place,very impolite!

Decent local chippy. Has a good range of all the usual products. I even got offered to choose a brand of pie the last time I visited! Staff friendly too and they give a swift service too. The only recommendation i would give is for the chippy to sell mushy peas!

Love this place. Nice food and don't have to wait ages either. Very efficient. Not like Chris' in chafford hundred. I have to go past to get to here can't stand that place. 10 minute wait every time to get a bag of chips.
