Olde worlde atmosphere. Very friendly service and good menu choices at reasonable prices. Good service and good wellcooked food ( I had liver and onion casserole and authentic strudel for dessert). Thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful family owned and run nursery with well chosen, friendly staff. Everyone shows a personal interest and makes you feel at home. Quality plants, great selection of country foods and, of course, the BEST home baked cheese or fruit scones in the Kingdom!

WOW! What a fantastic chicken shop, youd be hard pressed to find such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The food is incredible!!

Sunday roast was brilliant which is not the norm around here. 5 stars. Easy Decor is quite modern and maybe not to my taste but not a problem, food is good.

The best tea/coffee place around, very quaint old style tea room with such a wide choice of tea, coffee and home cooked food and cakes.

It's always busy but they greet you like old friends, take your order and get on it straight away. They will give you a warning if there's a wait for things to be cooked. All team members are happy and chatty

Was here for the Euro 2020 final. Staff were great and worked really hard. They kept everyone topped up with booze. Hope they got a bonus for all their effort!! I was sitting outside and, to be fair, it's a pretty good setup! However, one star lost for the seats not being comfortable enough! 2 hours of gameplay and penalties was too much for me! Or maybe it was my big a r s e....... ;-)

Had a fantastic meal here tonight for my 50th with my family. The food was fantastic and staff were great. My grandson says overall the place is really fancy and he has to give it 5* too! He's 9 😁 Moj and Ali need a special mention! Lovely guys and great service. Thank you.

A lovely country style pub with a nice atmosphere, although the choice of ales was a bit limited. ice place for a drink and a quiet chat.

Friendly staff, excellent food, a marvellous range of real ales and a very welcoming ambience. A real destination pub which is well worth a visit.

The food is very good and really heat when you get it. The staff USA hello to you and Goodbye when when you leave. The atmospheres is hot, so you might get staffy in there at summertime

Absolutely love New Pavilion. Can't wait to be able to dine in again with my friends. Actually sent them a Christmas Card saying. Thank You "To the Best Restaurant in Essex". Or words to that effect. The owner is absolutely charming. Great food and the best Fish and Chips. Edited 26th March 2024 Has this restaurant changed hands? I booked a table on line for my friend and myself which I had confirmation that it had been done, then the day before confirmation again that we were still going etc. When we got there the whole place was wrecked and a sign said "closed for refurbishment", We were furious and won't be going there again when it reopens. I can't see the owner, whom we knew really well, all the times we've been before, letting this happen.
