Second visit here with family and it was amazing again. Such a friendly welcome, very clean and nicely spaced tables. Gluten free options are plentiful so it was difficult choosing but highly recommend the chicken in tarragon sauce. I had initially chosen the fish and chips but being a coeliac was informed that they use the same fryer for both batters and so to avoid cross contamination I chose the chicken instead. Really great to have such care and attention to detail…which was really appreciated. Highly recommend and wish everyone continued success.

We visited here to celebrate our anniversary. Polite, friendly, service within the restaurant and all of our requests were met with a smile. Both lunch mains and desserts were appealing, tasty and plentiful. Atmosphere within was friendly, although the pub was busy. We would definitely visit again. Thank you.

Walked in here to get some lunch as was visiting for a garden show in local area and not at all what we was expecting to see, its was very uninviting with the people we saw in there, if you like a pub with sawdust feeling on the floor look no further.

My wife and I visited this pub twice this weekend and I have to say that this pub was simply put, outstanding. The food was so so good and the Sunday roast was about the best I have ever eaten. My wife loved the food too especially the desert, chocolate brownie with ice cream. the staff were so good and polite. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!! 5 stars all around.

Service was excellent, but the food was very overpriced for what you get. I am a bit disappointed as I was very looking forward to have a great experience and the food was very avaridge, nothing special. I could have spend that money elsewhere and enjoyed my dinner more. Overall wasn't a horrendous experience but I would not consider to return.

Great friendly gastropub in a beatiful village. We really enjoyed our stay here - there are two shepherds huts in the garden so we were able to enjoy afternoon drinks in the lovely garden followed by dinner, more drinks and then bed! Andy and the team made us feel very welcome, including our dogs. The huts are very comfortable and well equipped. Good value all round. We will be back :)

We ate at the Beeston Ploughshare restaurant last Thursday evening with our granddaughter and had an excellent dinner. The pub is a very friendly place with great staff and the food was all freshly cooked and delicious. It’s a perfect example of what a great pub and restaurant should be like.

Too many pubs offer "pub grub" and hide the mediocre quality/cooking with huge portions. Under new and young management, this pub is a refreshing change. Good ingredients and a menu that is different from the normal pub fare. It's a little more expensive but worth the extra. I have eaten here three times in recent weeks and the food has been good and the service friendly and attentive. It's now our place to go for a meal out.

This was my first visit to The White Horse and must say just how pleased we were that we went. I will definitely be going again.

It is an absolute pleasure to visit a pub with well kept ales that are gravity served. If only more pubs would take the time to do this. There is also a selection of excellent sandwiches on tasty, fresh bread. The main courses were good. I recommend the Powters sausages.
