Lovely service and great food. I had the mixed lamb dish and salad which was very tasty and filling. I will definitely visit here again when I’m back in Stevenage!

Fantastic place to gather with your loved ones around a dinner table. Been here several times now and this is one of the most decent restaurants in the area! There is no dish you won't lick your fingers!! Very welcoming staff , always eager to pay maximum of attention to your needs. Been very impressed of Maria,the lovely lady waitress who took care of our table, showing so much satisfaction to please each of us. She gave us some recommendations and we literally wiped the dishes!!! Nothing left!! I strongly recommend this restaurant when you want to have a peaceful dinner out with your friends and family! You never can go wrong with Turkish cuisine at Mysa in Stevenage!! Well done,folks!!

Been here sooo many times and always had a fabulous meal with such friendly, speeds service. All the staff have been wonderful, today i served by the lovely Maria who knew what i wanted without having to ask. Maybe i’m too predictable and will have to order someone else other than the special mixed grill just to confuse them :) No doubt i will be back again soon. THANKS TO EVERYONE who works there..

Misya Meze Grill exceeded all my expectations! The atmosphere was inviting, the service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely divine. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, from the tender kebabs to the vibrant meze platter. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. If you're in Stevenage and craving authentic Turkish cuisine, this is the place to go!

My daughter and I came in today (Sunday @ around 7pm) we got to our table order our food and drinks and suddenly my daughter started feeling really unwell I ask the waiter if we could take our food because my daughter wasn't feeling well from that point this man didn't leave us he was so attentive and so helpful he got my daughter some strong drink for her to smell to make her better also glass of water I had to go and get my car that was on the other end of the high street and he staid by my daughter side and help her every second (my daughter is 21) got my daughter in the car and the waiter gave me directions on where to park and wait for the food in the meantime he went back in the restaurant and came back with this glass of water and salt for my daughter (we belive her blood pressure dropped) and this drink helped her he had a chat with us made sure she was feeling better and whent back a got our food . She is now okNow I have been managing restaurants for almost 20 years and what this waiter did to help my daughter and I is something I stopped seeing in this industry for a long time having that attention and dedication to your customers going that extra mile been a caring person this days is difficult to find I hope he is taking care of and well looked after in this job (If not hey I'm more then welcome to give him a job) .And by the way the food is amazing we didn't manage to have our drinks but my cocktail did look amazing Thank you so much Mr waiter don't ever change that is what makes you special at your job

A lovely little place in Stevenage Old Town, beautiful cosy atmosphere to enjoy a well prepared Turkish meal . On warmer days, the possibility to dine al-fresco is available

Pita is fantastic, calamari was fresh, though lamb guvech can be improved. Price is reasonable and quick serving. Hope to come back for others soon

We went yo this restaurant on Friday evening . Special occasion. The place is normally welcoming, good service , nice atmosphere, and good food, but not on this occasion.The place was rammed, tables practically on top of each other and noisy We ended up on a very small table, not enough room for the wine and bread and food. Service was slow and one waiter kept hitting my partners shoulder with his backside every time he went past as tables were too close together. No apology offered . Another waiter commented " you will be hard pushed to get your food on that table" and laughed.Hot mixed starter was luke warm and tasted as though it had bern made for ages and just re heated. I had the lamb basti usually good, but this time over cooked to burnt dried up and tough. Nowhere near the usual standard. It's a pity that greed for numbers has overtaken the good food and service that you used to get in there.

Had a family lunch here to celebrate a birthday. Such friendly service, so much fun!! We think it’s really good value for what you get. The food is delicious and not at all pretentious like some other places on the high street. And my kids had a great time (normally they get bored in restaurants). This is my favourite local restaurant, not sure why I am only just writing a review now, but I’ve been with friends, family, on a date night, and we often order takeaway. Fits the bill every time! I don’t think there are many places that offer such good service these days, Misya stands out in a good way.

We don't get the chance to dine out often as a couple as we have two children, this was a real treat and a wonderful meal it was! Tony was so attentive and the service was superb! The atmosphere was amazing felt like we were on holiday!Please try it as its one very special restaurant with mouth watering dishes The dessert was outstanding

Decemt menu with plenty of veggie and fish choices alongside meat ones. The pittas, dips and salad were really tasty and the fillet of sea bass I had for my main course was beautifully cooked. Staff pleasant and accommodating and we had a lovely complimentary passion fruit drink at the end. I would be happy to come back or have a takeaway based on this experience. Only minor issue is it was very cold being directly in the line if the front door which was in frequent use with some customers feeling it was ok to leave it open...that said in this day and age the air flow is possibly not a bad thing and not a lot the restaurant could do about this.

Before attending the restaurant I called up to double check that the restaurant was wheelchair friendly to which they assured me that it was. We arrived for Valentine’s Day (to celebrate our engagement anniversary also) and arrived at the entrance to find it had a step down into the restaurant (I’m in a wheelchair and cannot walk so not ideal). The employers did place a ramp down for me however which was very helpful of them. After ordering our meal and drinks I tried to go to the toilet to find a narrow alleyway with a French dresser in the way. The employers attempted to move the dresser out of the way for me to be able to move my wheelchair down the alleyway to the toilet but could not move it.I’m very appreciative of the people working trying to accommodate for me but they should not advertise that they are wheelchair friendly when they are not. We had to end up leaving the restaurant with our food because there was no way I could not go to the toilet for over an hour when I already needed to go. I was also a bit disappointed that we did not get any sort of discount or partial refund for our evening being completely ruined and having to leave the restaurant due to the mistake of the restaurant falsely advertising that they were wheelchair friendly.I would like to see whether the restaurant would make these changes to make the restaurant wheelchair friendly. Until then I will sadly not be returning to the restaurant.

Ordered a take away, bit pricey but food is excellent. Food was ready quick, just 20 minutes. Hot and tasty. Be prepared to pay cash for a take away, not sure why this is different to eating in.

We turned the mains away which imeant by the time we ate the mains they were slightly cold which is a shame as it was delicious

Amazing and delicious food and absolutely brilliant portion sizes. Got this through Deliveroo and was pleasantly surprised by the food coming with bread and rice. The taste and texture of the kebabs were amazing. We’ll be back!

Visited Misya this week for my 30th and they accommodated a large group of us. The food was fantastic, the portions were great and the service from everyone, especially Tony was top tier. Happily recommend.

Come here many times with small group, bigger groups and dates. Usually get the set menu, 5 courses of food. Always excellent. Great service, very attentive and cold beer. Best Turkish in Stevenage old town!

Usually have really great experiences here however this time It definitely was not great. Came here for my 21st birthday with my family, starters and drinks came quickly however having wait and hour between courses we politely asked where our food was after the waiters tried to give us other peoples orders twice. After we asked, we were finally told that the chefs had lost our order and hadn’t made it. Another half hour passed when finally our main meals arrived, apart from 2 people who had to wait a further 15mins (to which the rest of us had nearly finished). They tried to compensate by giving us a few free drinks however unfortunately the damage was already done. We will go to tarla next time

We are so glad we have Miysa in Stevenage as in our opinion it's the closest experience to Turkish cuisine outside of Turkey. We have traveled for many years across Turkey, from the north of Istanbul and the Black sea, Ankara, Konya, Adana, Antalya, Fethiye, Marmaris, Bodrum, Izmir, Canakkale just to mention a few. We have eaten in Hundreds of restaurants some amazing, some poor. Miysa still ranks in our top 10. The food is amazing, very friendly welcoming staff, excellent choice of dishes from different regions of Turkey. Tesekkurler Miysa

Celebrating family birthday. The place seemed to be chaotic, no organisation. Asked 3 times for a jug of water to eventually get 6 glasses of water. The starters didnt all come together, one got forgotten. The food was nice, no complaints there but it wasnt quick service. Yes they were very busy but the place was cramped. One of the waitresses was nice, friendly and helpful, didnt get her name but she had blonde hair

Had a lovely meal at Misya Meze this evening. We didn’t book but we managed to get a table outside which we were happy with. Even though the food took a while to come out and there were long gaps between the food arriving this didn’t really bother us too much as when the food came out it was really tasty, good sized portions and the waiter and waitress who served us were really friendly and chatty. Totally recommend and really nice to see it all busy after what has been an upheaval of a last year with the Covid pandemic. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great selection of food on the menu and the portion sizes are more than enough...you won't be leaving hungry!!

Visited while away on business as a table for one.I’m perfectly happy dining alone and I like to watch a restaurant operate.This place was busy and had a great bustling atmosphere.The food was simply excellent. I had the mess feast which comprised of many small dishes and the food was fresh and extremely delicious.Service was swift and everyone I encountered was excellent.Highly recommended and when I’m anywhere ever again I will definitely be back!

Ordered the Chicken Islkander as I usually do! New waiter made a mistake and brought me the wrong dish. (We’ve all been new at a job once upon a time!) When I raised this it was rectified also immediately and the manager offered me a free drink on the house. I’m a repeat customer and this brilliant hospitable service is what brings me back again and again! Not to mention the absolutely delicious food!

We came here at the weekend after months away and sat outside for a change in their outdoor eating area. As usual, the food is amazing but the service is terrible (and we spent £50) hence the Average rating this time!. We were sat for nearly 15 minutes (bearing in mind there were only one other table occupied) before our order was taken. All in all, we were at this restaurant for over 1.5 hours, should have all been done in 1 hour (the outdoor chairs are soooo uncomfortable too)... you can tell the owner wasn’t on duty as usual, too many members of staff playing with their mobile phones and chatting !

We visited Misya on a Sunday evening. We had a wonderful meal as usual and we were very well looked after by Tony. We will be back again soon. Thank you for making us so welcome and a lovely evening and overall experience.

Popped out for a spot of lunch on a Friday and found an absolute gem. The food on the set lunch menu was perfect, amazing value and cooked with passion and flair.We had starters and mains for just over a tenner and I have to say it was some of the best food we have ever eaten. 30 years as a chef and I rarely get emotional over food these days but I’m sat here with blurry eyes and a massive smile.Thank you to Toni and the team for an amazing lunch we will be back many times in the future for sure❤️

This isn't an exaggeration - I promise! I have never in all my life experienced flavours that made me both forget to use my knife and fork, and even made me emotional, leaving me with goosebumps. I ordered the Sarma Beyti dish - a sort of authentic turkish lamb kebab. To say it was the tastiest food I've ever had doesn't quite do this food justice. You NEED to eat here. Prior to our meal arriving, Tony - a very friendly yet respectfully uninvasive waiter, served us our ordered drinks. The malibu and diet coke came with a large slice of pineapple. He poured the diet coke for us into the malibu, making us feel treated! To our surprise, he then served us complimentary freshly baked flat bread, with a spicy and extremely tasty chilli chutney and fresh mint yoghurt. I, being hungry, ate all the bread, and Tony came and gave us more! Then... the main event. Out came to our table 2 enormous plates with food that... well... just see for yourself! When I tried the sarma lamb kebab, dipped in this super fresh yoghurt with the consistency of creme fresh, I was completely taken back. I told my girlfriend Jody to try one, and the moment she took a bite she looked up at me almost startled and exclaimed "what have I been eating my whole life!?". I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We ate outside too, under shelter, adding the the abroad feel. 10/10. Will definitely be coming again. And for the price? I couldn't accept being charged so little. You owe it to yourselves to eat here!

Came on Fathers Day with my wife, daughter and grandkids and had a wonderful meal. I won’t bore you with everything we ordered, suffice to say that the quality of ingredients was excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything in front of us.Ok, a special mention for the meat moussaka and the children’s menu lamb kebab. Oh and the salad and the chicken shish - did I mention the quality of the salad, pitta and homemade dips.? The wait staff were very friendly and helpful and we can’t wait to return to the best Turkish restaurant around these parts.Either listen to somebody with 1500 reviews or the chap below who has reviewed just one and somehow thinks Misya is rubbish - laughable..

Best Turkish restaurant I have been to. Warm, welcoming staff, relaxed atmosphere, decent social distancing (without being overbearing) and above all excellent food. My wife loved the meze but the highlight was the mixed lamb - absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Nice little touch - despite being some of the later diners, while clearing up our starters, we were asked if we wanted our mains straight away or wanted a break between. This really made us feel as valued customers rather than a cover to be moved on as quickly as possible. Highly recommend.

Right from the beginning, the staff gave us a earm welcome and were very attentive all though the evening. Never thought that Turkish food could be mouth watering.A very enjoyable evening. Thank you all the staff.

Not worth the money. Too busy resulting in quality being compromised. Rude staff. Can see the pic of the fries and can judge yourself. Oil dripping from the fries and all the other items we ordered had one or the other issues as well. Pls avoid. Also note, the thing in d pic is what they call Babaganush though at every other restaurant I’ve had a white aubergine and yogurt mixed kinda dip and not this. All in all poor quality and not worth the over priced menu at all. Never going back again.

We’ve always enjoyed eating here. The terrace was a new and welcome feature. As always the food was excellent however the service was atrocious. Perhaps it was due to not being as rammed full as pre lockdown, however, we waiting ages for drinks even after we’d asked to order the staff continued to chat amongst themselves. After asking fir the bill we were left for at least 15 minutes before they returned to take payment.We will need to hear that service has improved before we come back again.

Visited during restrictions so seated outside. Although it was raining we had a covered area seat with a heater, so very comfortable. Food was delicious, and served promptly. Waiters were engaging and helpful. Can recommend the warm starter platter. Lovely experience would definitely recommend.

We normally order from either here or Tarla, who I was led to believe had the same owners. I usually have the Lamb Ribs because, having eaten in, they were so meaty and well cooked I was absolutely amazed....tonight however, we ordered through Just Eat and for the price of what we ordered, I was utterly disgusted, both with the size of the Ribs and the way they were burnt! My partners meal was OK, but mine was utterly disgraceful. Poorly cooked, small portion, with what seemed to be boiled packet rice and a burnt (I know the difference between chargrilled and burnt) tomato and pepper. I will 100% be ordering from Tarla in future. So, so disappointed.

Such a lovely lunch on their new terrace. Wine topped up. Delicious fresh food and super attentive service. Loved the pina colada cocktail! Will be back again and again and can equally recommend their takeaway.

Had dinner with my daughters and I cannot praise the restaurant enough. The food was absolutely delicious, we all ordered something different and everything was gorgeous. The staff were absolutely lovely and so welcoming, can't wait to return!!

Ordered my food on a Saturday 5pm, told 20mins, when I arrived to collect mask on I was just standing there. Everyone running round me no one once paid any attention to me. 10mins later I’m still standing there. One of the delivery drivers asked me oh hi what’s your number after me frequently trying to get attention I was in the walk way hardly missable . There was at least 20 workers in there brushing past me to walk by. Restaurant was still closed due to lockdown so I don’t understand why so many. There were staff chatting to each other with Masks down.Cooks in Kitchen chatting masks pulled right down. One guy was at the grill cooking while on his mobile phone scrolling! I couldn’t believe it. Once home and plated my dinner, chicken was burnt, lamb was raw and rice was hard. My bread was burnt one side, salad was barely there. This restaurant used to be so lovely now I feel your just a number in and out. Esp when restaurants open they can’t wait to get you out once you’ve eaten. I think they need to up there game otherwise customers like me will be going elsewhere from now on.

Had our first lockdown takeaway from here and absolutely loved it. We’ve eaten in many times and I was a bit concerned that the food wouldn’t travel well so had the oven on ready just to ensure everything was piping hot.We had chicken sheesh which came with bread, dips, rice and salad and moussaka which also came with rice and salad. Our aubergine starter was delicious (no idea what it was called) and we were generally impressed by what we received.Can’t wait to go back in there and eat things straight off the grill, undoubtedly the best Turkish in Stevenage and yes I’ve eaten at them all - in my opinion you shouldn’t believe all the “1 Review” posters on other restaurants if you get my drift.

Great food, good value. Just be sure you get a seat as far away from the door as possible as it can sometimes be opening and closing every other minute or so. And when it's cold outside you'll know it!

Just had the spicy seafood pasta dish and before I even ate it I knew it would be good from the smell but that’s the best dish I’ve had anywhere in a long time. Honestly better than sex still got a lob. The chef needs a pay rise and would defo recommend

Just had a beautiful meal with my wife at our Favourite Turkish restaurant in old town Stevenage. Was served today by Semih top class service very good man helped us with everything we needed 100% recommended. Lamb chops were fantastic and the Baklava delicious make sure you visit. Simon & Peach.

Had a lovely Friday evening here before second lockdown. Authentic restaurant and food was amazing. All covid precautions seemed to be in place. Service was initially a little slow but soon improved once our order was taken. Very warm welcome and food was so tasty.Will definitely be back.

I would have given the restaurant a 5 star review as the food here is excellent and I had heard great things about the Misya however I visited with some friends a few days before the national lockdown and was very disappointed with the behaviour of the staff.First lets start with the food. We shared a meze starter which was really nice and we were given as much pita bread as we wanted. The main course again was excellent. The food was cooked on a grill and we were fortunate enough to sit near the kitchen so we could see the food being cooked.Plus, one of my friends did not finish her food so was given a container to take it home so she could have it for lunch the following day.Sadly what ruined the evening for me was the behaviour of the waiters. One had a mask on at the start of the evening but later had removed it. He did not have anything denoting he was exempt. Another waiter had a mask tucked on his chin and not covering over his face. Finally the manager opened the door for us to leave with his mask on his chin.I doubt I will visit this restaurant again unless the staff take the coronavirus pandemic seriously. Such a disappointment.

We visited for Saturday lunch for my nephews 18th birthday. From the moment we entered everything was special. The welcome, the service, the drinks, the food were all fabulous. They kindly delivered his cake with music and an incredible firework!! He absolutely loved it and so did we!! Cannot thank everyone there for making our little celebration into such a memorable occasion!

Fantastic food sonny was our waiter and he couldn't have done anymore for for us my husband had mixed kebab and I had lamb chops we both had king prawns to start the food just melts in your mouth cant wait to go back welldone guys keep up the good work

All six of us were very pleased with the food here. The mixed platter I had was SO delicious and a very generous serving. A friend had the apricot chicken which was fantastic and another friend had a lamb dish served on the bone (I can’t remember the name of it) but she enjoyed it very much. I definitely recommend going there hungry or be prepared to take some home as the portions are generous but taste SO good. All the staff were so welcoming and attentive and it felt so normal. It was my first visit and I’ll definitely be coming back again!

This was on of the first restaurants my partner and myself returned to since going to eat out again. There were clear screen, distanced table, hand gel and all the staff were wearing masks. We felt safe and the staff once again made you feel really welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the mixed grill with was flavourful and juicy, with a nice char from the coals, and my partner being veggie she had feta and spinach filled pasty, stuffed vine leaves and fried goats cheese. WE would both highly recommend. Great vibe and a fantastic owner going the extra mile with his teams customer service!

This without doubt is the best Turkish restaraunt in Stevenage by a mile, the others do not even compare. The food is on par with any Turkish London restaraunt . we love eating here and the price is very reasonable, with the quality of the food being superb. Service is generally pretty good. The one downside is that everybody now has tried everywhere else in the town and realises that Misya offers value for money as well as quality. it gets very busy every night of the week, and its only let down is that tend to over-book clients, with people waiting up to half an hour to be sat at their tables with no reception or bar area. i would suggest they purchase an adjacent shop, convert and extend.

Food was awesome and we were very well looked after by Semih and the team upstairs. Plastic screens between each tables so felt very safe and covid compliant. Well done for working so hard and thank you!

A warm welcome , an excellent ambience and an open view of the chefs creating sensational meals. Spoilt for choice from a very mouthwatering menu selection . The staff are so attentive and are constantly aware of the customers needs . As an NHS worker I can only applaud the generosity of Misya Meze during this dreadful year of Corona Virus they provided free meals to staff at my hospital , which were very much appreciated at an extremely busy time . From my heart to the heart of this business ... THANK YOU !

It’s been quite a while since we’ve been here, obviously COVID has got in the way but there were always so many other better value options for lunch and Misya didn’t seem to want to provide a cheaper set menu at lunchtime for a long time.Well they do now and it was superb - we can’t eat as much as we used to but we really struggled to eat everything. We had falafel and a cold but absolutely delicious aubergine starter after we’d tried so hard to limit out pitta bread intake, the dips here are amazing. The only issue the whole menu was that the falafel was a little dry but it wasn’t enough to knock a mark off, just a heads up to the restaurant.We both had chicken shish for main, the chicken was tasty and plentiful and we love the salad and rice accompaniment here. I’m very dubious about the review that said the chicken was raw, we’ve had it here many times and had no problems, I’m pretty sure the chefs here know exactly how long to cook it and as somebody who cooks a lot myself I’m also sure that the chicken is pre-cooked before it even goes on the grill.The service was friendly and we love the Efes Draught (in a bottle) - it wasn’t very busy when we visited a couple of weeks ago but once the lunchtime menu becomes common knowledge and this blasted virus goes away, I would imagine packed tables. Keep it up Misya, at less than a ten minute walk from our house we’ll be joining you regularly.

Just as expected the service was great, food tasty and on time with a real friendly and comfortable vibe throughout the restaurant, highly recommended

I’ve always been a supporter of independent restaurants but shocked by the quality and lack of acknowledgement at Misya. I was given raw chicken and when I complained there was no apology only an offer to serve me a fresh one. When I pushed this further, I received an apology but told this can happen as they can’t judge whether the chicken is cooked as it’s on the coals. Surely that wouldn’t meet environmental health standards! I never write reviews but felt I had to!

We chose the lunchtime special of "main course with a soft drink", which was just as well as we couldn't have managed a starter or dessert! We particularly enjoyed the Sea Bass with rice and salad and found the falafel to be also very tasty. The Falafel wrap with hummus and chips was excellent and very substantial. All for £7.95 per person - we shall definitely eat here again!

We come here all the time...the food is fantastic and well cooked and delicious, and big portions... and I ALWAYS give a review of 5 stars.... not today after lunch unfortunately. We went here the first day after lockdown and we were impressed with all the covid measures in July. This is our third visit after that and each time the safety measures have lapsed each visit. Today ...we have waiters trying to corale all us diners into one section only of the restaurant instead of spreading us out nicely (we had to move); now the face masks have totally disappeared from the waiters who keep leaning closely over us throughout our meal; the big anti bac bottle at the entrance/ exit (the only one?) is pretty much empty (I bring my own thankfully); the customers that sat at our original table with a toddler got the plastic screen removed between them and the 2 diners who were sitting less than 1 metre away; and then when I ask if they want our contact details, I’m told no don’t worry about it! I do worry about it because you as a restaurant are blatantly now breaking the law by not taking our details, as last time we came a few weeks ago we had to register ourselves online with an app which we were told to do by the staff as soon as we stepped into the restaurant. We as regular, good customers will not return to this covid Unsafe restaurant especially now a second wave may have hit our country!

We had a lovely time with lovely service and really good yummy food. Will visit again and we will look forward to it!

Family and I went to Misya Meze and grill, great food and service . Mixed grill and falafel wrap were great and our waiter Semih was fantastic and gave us a few complementary items. I don’t usually like Baklava, but I tasted it warm straight from the oven and it was the best !!! Highly recommended. Linda .

We had lunch here yesterday and the food was really tasty. Service by Semih was excellent and really fast. We will definately return for more tasty food.

I have eaten in a lot of different Turkish restaurants in Hertfordshire and London . Misya is by far the best I’ve ever had . The food is always so fresh , hot and delicious . The customer service is great , the staff and atmosphere are lovely and the restaurant is lovely . Would definitely recommend and never go to any other Turkish restaurants apart from Misya.

Just had a lovely lunch here - the food is excellent and the service from Semih was fantastic - he made sure we were very well looked after! Will be coming back soon!!

We had family visiting from Australia, all of us love Turkish food. We had previously eaten at a few of the Hitchin Turkish restaurants, we were not over impressed with those so needed to find an alternative. Found Misya on here. All of our dishes we lovely. The meat was succulent and tasty. Service was very good. 100% will be back.

I came here in a recommendation and wasn’t disappointed. The lamb chops are a must. Great hospitality and the friendliness of the staff makes this an amazing place to visit.

Really good place, great for either a date, family shindig or mates night out. Portion sizes are epic, & the meat is a real speciality here - everything was kissed by charcoal. The service & vibe is so, so friendly & fun without being annoying. Recommended.

Can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Absolutely delicious food, good choice of menu, very friendly staff, acceptable prices. The only downside was staff not wearing masks or gloves and not participating in Govt track and trace requirement.

Myself and 3 friends booked a table reservation with you yesterday. We received confirmation once the booking had been made that our reservation was confirmed. We attended the restaurant to find our booking hadn't been accepted. The staff tried to advise me that it wasn't a confirmation of our booking, although we had received the booking message and showed this message to the staff, The staff then advised that we should have waited for the confirmation email from the restaurant to confirm the booking. This was not stated on your booking information on the website. The confiromation of the reservation seemed like an actual confirmation.The staff then tried to lecture me about how we should have checked, and tried to make it out like it was our fault. Absolutely disgusted with the customer service, and you shouldn't be using a booking system that isn't adequate for use if you are fully booked.

Coming out of lockdown, we need to feel safe don’t we? Well Misya had their tables nicely spaced, and if needed a plastic shield between. We were celebrating two lockdown birthdays and had a lovely meal as usual here. We both chose a minced chicken main course, looking like a long sausage, half of which fitted nicely in a doggie bag! Great said and rice to accompany.

Really lovely to be back after lockdown. We have been enjoying them as a take away while we couldnt get in but we completely enjoyed our first meal back. The gorgeous grill smell grabs you by the nose as you enter the door and pulls you in. The waiters are friendly but not over the top. The atmosphere is so comfortable and relaxed. The music is modern and easy listening but I have to say I enjoy traditional music in restaurents but I know that is not everyone's taste. The food. OMG the food. I have NEVER had a better lamb shish that I have at Misya and i have never had a bad one there either. I simply dont under stand how they get the meat so full of flavour and just the right amount of caramelized grill marks on the meat. The rice, the salad, the bread, the dips, I couldnt fault anything!My other half had Tavuk Guvek and said it amazing as always! Well done and it's so nice to see that nothing has been lost while the world was put in a time out. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. From two very happy and full up customersxx

I was so amazed on how good is their Mediterranean/ Turkish food they serve. The ambience of the place is nice and warm. The staff are very courteous and pleasant. We met Semhi who recommended some of their specials. It is an asset for every restaurant if their staff are very nice and knowledgeable of the food they serve. This restaurant is simply the best ever. We enjoyed the lamb ribs and lambchops. Will definitely come back and recommend.

We have been to Misya several times now and the food is always excellent. Today was no exception and the service was exceptional. Our waiter today was a chap called Simah (apologies if that isn't the right spelling). We highly recommend and will definitely return.
