First time here but won't be the last! Excellent place, excellent service, excellent staff (even physically moving our table away from one with young children, only because I have a health condition & noise affects my balance). Well done Bartellas!

I go to this store periodically for the selection of organic produce that they offer, every time I am very pleased! Everything on the shelves is very well organized and you can find anything you need. All sold brands have very well environmental pledges. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free ready to eat snacks/meals are offered as well. I also liked the fact that they sell loose spices and you can weigh them before buying :) Very good kombucha and natural soft/fizzy drink selection. Fresh pastry/cakes are served as well as a nice takeaway treat! Enjoy a few snapshots taken today. ☺️

We love this restaurant! It is a hidden gem. My favourite is king prawn linguine. Pasta is always perfectly cooked. The Italian minestrone soup is an excellent addition to keep the stomach warm in the cold winter. Garlic bread is yummy! My husband tried the mussels and pork chop the other day. They are tender and juicy. If you fancy vegetarian pasta, the aubergine linguine is delightful. . Chef Alex and his wife Galyna are amiable and will chat with customers for feedback. Returning clients and the owners have good rapport which is precious. Parking is convenient, we will certainly bring our friends here to enjoy the food..

So, returning 5 years and 1 refurbishment later... 2 people, 1 date night. Was surprised the place was empty, bar two other couples, one of which left shortly after our arrival. Didn't exactly create a date night atmosphere. Neither did the chefs playing different music to that played in the main restaurant. The decor is stunning at first glance, but lack of attention to detail - details you notice when you're in the place for a meal - was also a let down. Other let downs included beer offered as draught coming in a bottle, not receiving one of the starters ordered, and not being checked on/asked if we were happy... The kebab selection, inc the 'yoghurt' dishes, are delicious. A really flavoursome comforting treat. I'd recommend these any day. The other plates were okay but lacked refinement we thought. E.g. some dry meat and overcooked pasta. Finally, at just shy of £100 for a beer, a bottle of wine, olives, a (just one) starter and two mains I'd also suggest it's not going to be a regular destination (£80 for a similar meal elsewhere, recently) for date night 😉🤭 [Original review] Outstanding. A lot of effort has gone into refurbishing this restaurant for it's grand opening, on 2nd Sept 2019. Went last night, with a large group of friends: + Attention to what we wanted + Fabulous selection or food and drink + Good wine & beer available + The best chili sauce we had ever tasted!!! + Beautifully flavoured Lamb + Reasonably good sized portions No areas for development 😀
