Good tasting food. Bread and olives pre food were good.. Fresh warm bread and olives were not salty and seasoned well. Starter was a bit disappointing but main course was good. Well seasoned and tasty. Good value for money also. Will definitely be going back..

We ate here last Thursday night. Wife opted for the early dinner menu and i went off the a la carte. My mussels starter was lovely- cooked to perfection and the sauce was beautiful. The wife had a fig salad which again was lovely. For main i had halibut which was a little dry on the outside and lacked flavour to be honest. The green beans and potatoes i ordered to accompany were nice but we didnt need two portions between two of us. The wife had Monkfish with prawns and she said it was nice but really small and not much Monkfish. Desserts were lovely- Tiramisu and Brulee and washed down with a bottle of wine and a couple of drinks. I must say the service was excellent and priced at £165 for three courses plus wine not too bad but it lacked the finesse and touches of some of the competition in our opinion. Still a lovely meal but could have been better.

We are just finishing off our meal at the Felix in Billericay. As always we have had an amazing meal. Usually we would have a fish dish but as it's Sunday we have had the roast beef. It was outstanding if I could take the chef home with me I would. As always the service was fantastic, as was the atmosphere. Can't wait to come again.

Nice restaurant with good service! We shared the Sunday Roast dinner between the two of us and it was a generous portion. Delicious food!

Two visits and twice received the wrong order. I asked for grilled butter skate and twice got fried battered skate. Second time I sent it back but my friends had already eaten their lunch before I received my food. Not good enough at these prices. Won’t be returning.

Lovely lunch today. Food and service very good. Usually use Warley Felix not been to Billericay Felix for a long time but extremely good and definitely would return again.

Our food was hot and well cooked. Service was a bit hit and miss. This is a very clean, spacious restaurant. Polite and friendly staff. The only thing I don't like about both Felix restaurants is that they are sometimes too noisy, not ideal if you want to have a conversation or a relaxing meal.

Lovely lunch with friends for catch up today. Not been to Felix Billericay for a long time usually regulars at Felix Warley. Food and service excellent. Skate was beautiful. Will definitely return.

Delicious food and excellent service. Everything from the bread course onwards was delicious. Bit expensive for a lime and soda but will know to stay on the beer for next time! Managed to book for a Friday lunch the morning of which was really lucky!

Felix Had another amazing lunch at this great restaurant. The set menu is amazing value. We had the two course menu. Scallops and prawn tempura to start. The scallops cooked perfectly and the prawns not overcooked and the tempura batter absolutely cooked on point. We both had the grilled plaice (had this before) with a lemon samphire salsa salad. It’s so easy to overcook this great fish but it was cooked perfectly. I never used to get excited about side dishes BUT the boiled potatoes were sensational. Cooked hot but retaining a bite (how do they do this??). Really buttery and retminded me of Jersey Royals. Also the French beans are amazing..al dente and yet hot (cooking these in butter helps as well!) Lastly, and most importantly, the Staff. They are incredible. From the moment we walked through the door we felt really special. Incredibly attentive and kind…our main server was great. She was running a few tables and yet managed to keep my glass of Chardonnay topped up at the right moment every time! Well done again Felix ..can’t wait to come back

Just wanted to say many thanks for looking after us last night. The table, service and food for my Fathers 83rd birthday was fabulous! Kirsten was particularly helpful with the original set up of the balloon and cake, then made the whole evening very special. We all thought the food was beautifully presented and extremely tasty. I recently celebrated my 3rd wedding anniversary at Felix, and it was an absolute delight! My wife and I savored the Monkfish and Scallops, which were cooked to perfection, while I indulged in the Skate and Prawns, equally delicious. The attentive staff surprised us with a delightful little cake adorned with a celebratory candle, adding an extra special touch to an already wonderful experience. Felix truly exceeded our expectations, making our anniversary celebration truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking exquisite seafood and impeccable service!

The best roast dinner of my life. However the service was extremely slow, we waited over an hour and half for our main. Great roast though

Dinner with my partner for an early birthday celebration. Excellent food and service. Exquisite flavours and quality ingredients.

We booked for Valentines Evening. There was no romantic music (in fact music was so quiet you could only hear it in the toilets). We booked on the early sitting but at 8pm the whole restaurant was empty and the atmosphere changed. Overall the food was good albeit there was far too much butter and cream used. A lot of anticipation but it failed on delivery.

A really Great place to eat😋🤓😍( you mostly have to book a slot a couple of weeks in advance) I was very surprised it wasn't even half full 7:30pm Thursday 1st Feb 2024 probably people waiting for Valentine's so the atmosphere was a bit lacking, but the food is amazing although a little pricey approx £70 per person 3 courses average price dishes and 4 sides and a bottle of wine between 4 and a couple of drinks. I had Scallops starters, Halibut main, shared sides sauted potatoes tender stem broccoli roasted veg fine beans and Apple Tarte tatin. The quality of the food and the cooking are spot on the flavours and pairings of the dishes are fabulous. The service is attentive, professional and very polite. Always a real treat to eat the delicious food there, looking forward to going back again !!! Mark

Out here yesterday for late lunch , service was really good with our waiter Starters were excellent and so were the desserts , my partner ordered a roast pork , but was served with the portion of the pork belly that was being offered with the scallops , veggies and roast potatoes could have been offered in bowls to share with 2 people instead of serving everything in one big plate. Looks like Toby’s in the making - hope not as our previous meal here was absolutely fab sometime in November last year. Surely this can be a quick win for the chef and his team :)

Really friendly, efficient service. My squid starter was really tasty and different to anything I'd seen on any other menu. Husband's salmon also good. But then the main course, OMG. The lobster was as good as any I've had in West End/City restaurants. Husband had Sea Bass. Really well cooked and flavoursome. I was then a complete glutton and had the cheesecake for pudding. Also great. I can't fault anything which annoys me because I love a whinge.

I had a set price lunch (£35 for 3 courses) at Felix Billericay with a few friends last Saturday. Despite being a set price menu the portion sizes were more than adequate although veggies were extra but portions large enough to share. We all agreed that the food was outstanding. Despite being busy service was excellent and friendly. If you don't like fish there are also meat and vegetarian options on the menu.

This was our first time at Felix Billericay. Was genuinely surprised at the excellent service, food and vibe for a late afternoon lunch. Really looking forward to going back soon. Staff were so welcoming and the food was delicious. Scallops, Plaice and Monkfish were all good portions and very tasty. We thought the set menu for lunch was a good price.

On high street so find parking elsewhere which is a negative but food was very tasty indeed and looked nice, it was slower to come out I would say that other fine dining establishments that I have been to whoch resulted in no dessert as had another appointment to get to and starters & mains too 3hours to turn around for table of 6 on a quieter Thursday night and hard to get waiting staff attention a number of times but overall had a nice experience and no big issues!

We had never been before, we had some amazing food. We felt very safe, temperature taken, following covid regs. The staff were lovely. Would recommend to anyone. It's now 2023 and we have been back to the Felix in Billericay and you cannot fault anything, it's amazing

As ever the food, service and atmosphere are all good. However over time the prices have increased so it's quite expensive now. Which means expectations rise. Therefore with the overall menu being a little limited especially when items run out and service not quite 5 star (constant reminders to fill up water) and with the light settings being very low hanging from the ceiling this misses out on top marks.

We have visited the Warley restaurant a couple of times before and we were happy to discover this one on our doorstep! Staff were excellent, good drinks selection and lovely food.

My partner and I have been here several times and each time has been a lovely dining experience. The food is beautiful, tasty and well presented. The service is friendly and attentive. If you love fish and seafood this is the place for you. There are also steak and other meat dishes on the menu. One of my favourite restaurants.

Went to Felix for the first time the other week. What a lovely restaurant. Staff were great, menu choice was perfect and the food we ordered was really tasty. It’s not cheap if you having a number of courses and wine, but it is the kind of restaurant that you go to for a special occasion.

We found the whole experience an excellent one. We chose from the fixed price lunch menu and were all delighted with the whole meal. The quality of the ingredients were first class, the fish cooked to perfection and the quantity generous. Particularly evident was the the standard of service, unobtrusive but efficient and professional. Billericay is not blessed by a wide choice of quality dining opportunities but this is a gem, all to rare in this time of generally sub standard food often at outrageous prices. Undoubtedly we will be returning1

If only the service matched the food. This is a very good restaurant, make no mistake, but for the last time I wish they would invest in waiting staff to match. When you produce food of that quality, sending kids to take orders doesn't work. It's not the first time, when you are ordering 50.00 main courses you expect the person with the order pad to understand the menu. Once the confusion was over, the only adult on duty had to triple check it, the food came out right and was A1. Finally, when my American Express card wouldn't work, then told after trying 3 times "we don't accept Amex, something to do with the tax" I gave up. All in all brilliant food, service lacking. Invest in experienced staff and this place is right up there.

Top-tier food and service. I've eaten in many restaurants, and this was right up there with the best - probably the best. The waitress serving us had a beaming smile and was passionate about the service she provided, which is highly appreciated. I was stuck in two minds about which starter to order, so the waitress offered her opinion. I decided to go with her opinion, and I'm glad I did. All three courses were so good. I couldn't stop telling my partner how good the food is. We ended up trying each others' meals throughout, and we were both so happy. Definitely coming back soon. So good! Thanks to all of the chefs and staff. Loved it!

Been wanting to come here for ages but only just got around to it. Well worth the wait. Beautifully presented, very tasty food, served excellently. And at a very reasonable price as well. Eating out has become quite expensive lately even for chain restaurants but when you compare the cost/food/service of those, Felix is exceptional value for money.

We all thought the food was excellent and the service superb. Extremely attentive, friendly staff. Everywhere was super clean at the tables and the toilets were spotless with Molton Brown soap and handcream. Very pleased that my coat and scarf were hung up neatly with a disk to hand in when leaving. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and would come back again.

What has happened to what was one of the best restaurants in Essex. This was (but not anymore) our special occasion restaurant. We recently visited and I ordered a Dover Sole that the chef so over cooked it was like rubber my wife had Halibut again totally over cooked, not good for a fish restaurant. I told the manager about the Dover. Sole only to be told it’s not the best time of year to eat Soles! At £43 a go why is it on the menu. Service was ok but the waitress who served our main meal was chewing gum not good enough for a high end restaurant especially with a bill in excess of £300. As I said this used to be a top restaurant but unfortunately it’s not anymore.

First time visiting this venue and have been to the Warley one many times and this one has the edge. Wow the food was out of this world and all of us were very pleased with our meals. Lovely little restaurant with nice ambience. Will definitely be going back!

We chose from the early evening set menu, on a Wednesday, which was really good value compared to the a la carte options offered later in the evening (although admittedly with different choices). Service was excellent and attentive throughout with our bottle of prosecco chilling in a bucket on the wall and our glasses replenished at the table as needed. It was also nice to experience having our coats taken and hung up for us. I had the mussels for my starter and salmon (with new potatoes) for my mains whilst my wife had the avocado and prawn salad followed by plaice (with chips). In retrospect, we may have ordered a side dish of green vegetables (e.g. beans) to share. We have wanted to try this restaurant for sometime and this was a belated birthday treat. Well worth the wait. Definitely at the fine-dining end of the scale in Billericay. We may return or we may try the 'sister' restaurant in Warley.

Been here 4 times....last night food was not as good as usual. Husband had steamed mussels sauce was tasteless. Then he had skate which was bland no seasoning small not worth the money tasteless also. Such a shame

Booked for a special party for my son’s 18th A big day for us as a family for so many reasons! But they did not make it special! I had to ask several times for drinks, even water! Service was slow, charged for even gif the smallest portion of potatoes. Not at all good value gif money. They did not even let us light his 18th candles I saved for this party for months but it was not worth it!

Wow! I have just had to phone the restaurant manager to express what an amazing meal we have had…. The food was spectacular. Mussels and squid to start. Followed by skate and monkfish. We finished off sharing a cheese board! Absolutely outstanding But the staff were incredible, only young but the care, professionalism, friendliness….. as I said to them they would not be out of place In somewhere like the ritz or savoy up London! Went here for lunch one Friday. Staff were really friendly and attentative. The set menu when we visited had a good selection of dishes and seemed good value for money. The a la carte menu is quite pricy but possibly worth splashing out for on a special occasion. The food was very well presented and gets full marks for taste! The interior is stylish and there is plenty of space between tables so it wouldn't feel too crowded even if fully booked. I imagine you would need to book on a weekend. Highly recommend a visit.

Hadnt visited for a few years, and happy to say a small improvement on my last experience. Pretty busy service but table was ready on time, and staff were good. Food was very quick to arrive, was well cooked and tasty. Decent atmosphere and we had a nicely positioned table. Will be back soon.

Really disappointed that customer service seems to have been abandoned. Have visited this restaurant numerous times over the years and always left there more than happy, impressed by the great service & attention to detail. Sadly it would appear that a change in senior management has resulted in them being more focused in overbooking the restaurant, resulting in the kitchen not being able to cope, leaving the waiting staff having to make excuses to placate upset customers. Food when arrives is lovely.

A big thank you to Archie and Lucy who were amazing waitress/waiter at Felix and a huge credit to the restaurant. Very professional, well mannered and very attentive! We only found this restaurant a few months ago and it's quickly become one of our all time favourites. We've been so impressed that we've started to bring friends along and they've fallen in love too. The service has always been absolutely perfect, Laura the manager manages to get the balance between being warm and personable and super-efficient just right. The knock on effect is that her staff are amazing too. Food is exceptional. We've eaten off all the menus (even the roast beef on Sunday) and not had a bad dish yet. We are real foodies and over the years we've been to loads of Michelin starred restaurants and Felix is right up there with the best. The sea-life décor is relaxing, the background music is just perfect - literally nothing to fault. Even one of my normal restaurant bugbears of seating too close to other people isn't an issue here. Felix ticks all the boxes for a relaxing date night/family get-together/etc. It's also super-friendly - all the staff are like the cream of the crop in terms of front of house.

Simply a fantastic meal. My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant last weekend and, as per our first visit at the end of last year, were so impressed with the food, service, ambiance, etc. This is not the cheapest of places but, certainly for special occasions, cannot be beaten in Billericay. We both had the steaks (I don't eat fish and she didn't want steak envy!) which were succulent, juicy, very generous, and perfectly cooked to order. We also had some lovely red wine and a couple of cocktails to finish. At no point did we feel rushed, leading to a wonderful, relaxing evening with fantastic food. Seriously a place not to be missed, even if you don't eat fish (although I hear the fish is pretty good too!)
