Lovely and hot I would highly recommend

Driver couldnt find us despite instructions given

the food was hot and very tasty not my closest chippy but my favourite one from now on

Ribs were just how i like them! chips were also golden crisp and fuffy! was absolutly great! defo will order again!

30/8/24 I had two pieces if southern fried chicken and was sick with diarrhoea for almost 10 hours! It was vile husband had ribs he was fine avoid this place for chicke

Pie arrived not even warm, as did the fish, usually great but not tonight

time until delivery is quite a while but foodnis amazing

Can’t beat their spicy chicken wings, very meaty and delicious

Food was hot Saveloy was hard Chips are 6 for a large and the portion size was not big. There is A Delivery charge Service charge Bag charge Food bin Especially the wings awful.

No delivery got delvered to clickett hill they have sat nav

Placed order at approximately 6pm for a 7.30pm delivery. Food arrived 8.20 and was cold

We usually order from here and it arrives in good time and hot. we could see that the delivery driver was delivering elsewhere before us even though we were closer, this meant our food arrived very late and luke warm.

Food arrived hot. Huge piece of fish with really crispy batter. Delicious 🙂

Cooked to perfection We use this fish & chip shop all time and never disappoints

I was rather disappointed I checked delivery status and I was told my order had been delivered but it hadn’t , hopefully I’ll get refunded

Chips were really nice 5*. Unfortunately the full rack of ribs were inedible. I couldn’t even remove the meat from the bone. Very tough. I will add I’ve eaten other items off the menu previously and we’re really nice.

Chips had to be sorted out to eat as many had black and bad bits

Ordered Cods roe they gave me coleslaw when I phoned them they said no one to change it totally unhelpful

Driver arrived with completely wrong order an tried to tell us to take it which we refused rang big Q they said to contact just eat we refused as they got it wrong so now sending correct order hopefully so will review again

Delivery handler damaged the food which is not the restaurant’s fault. Two very squished savaloys and squished chips. Ate what they could. Such a shame they love the chippy food.

Literally the worst curry sauce I have EVER had in my life, literally disgusting. Was like brown water was so runny and tasteless 😫

Cornish pastie was inedible Cornwall would start a war with us over the state of that. Looked anaemic

Tell your young waitress about it. She is 16 and needs to stop scratching her skin and spots. Got lambasted by other customers due to my comment, however, its food environment, not a child's environment where she decides to cry!! Keep your hands off your face when serving my food.

Ordered saverloy and chips but got fish and chips.

Disappointed, fish was dry and the batter was soggy. Chips were greasy and soggy.

have been coming here for years but this week the Large chips were served in a polystyrene tray and no where near the amount of chips we usually get so may now be going else where...i will give it one more go to see if it was a one off

Very nice food as always nice and hot. But You have put your prices up and made your portion size smaller

I received my order 1 hour late and it came so cold. I didn’t even eat it. Chucked in the bin. Shame Definitely would ask refund. !!! I wanted to give you zero point but couldn’t as no option.

Ate out of here for years ! Sent hubby sausage in batter :batter soggy sausage dried out and hard. Chips more eye than a spider and green chips. Hope this was an off day!

I like the big q the staff are friendly very good selection to choose from the atmosphere is nice too All in all a nice place to visit

Without a doubt the best fish and chips in Basildon or Ribs with or without sauce the meat literally falls off the bone, As for the cod it is firm white and tasty with a beautiful golden batter and the chips extremely moreish

Best chip shop a round great potion size

Gave us the wrong drink ordered a big bottle for 2.65 and got given a normal size what a rip off

Easy ordering, quick delivery and Fish and Chips are always great from this shop. I am naughty and order the curry sauce for my chips, so delicious.

The best around in our opinion, Food always fresh, tasty and hot.

Chips were really good, best we have had in a while from a chippy. Pies were lovely. The doughnuts arrived frozen which wasn't great so won't order those again.

Fish and chips are always brilliant. However, this time I fancied BBQ ribs and was so disappointed with them. Parts of the meat was dry, meat tasted weird. Will stick to Fish and Chips in the future.

The food was excellent. Freshly cooked. The chips were fantastic. My old man loved the cod row.

Sadly, as the food was packed into the delivery bag, one box of fish was left open. Luckily, the Fish and Chip shop is only 5 minutes away from us, so it arrived still warm. Otherwise, the food is really good and we keep going back for more.

Order was incorrect..... Ordered bottle of soft drink with food, but given a small bottle. So effectively, paid triple for alot less.

Always superb food..Fish is sublime. Large portions....Our go to Chippy!
