A wonderful restaurant and bar, great food and drink 👍

We visited on a Friday night around 6 pm, and it was very quiet, but most tables were reserved. £10 each deposit to book a table, which was fine. We had the dumplings for our main, and they were yummy. Wine reasonably priced, unlike other places in the area. I ordered a starter for my pudding as I was still hungry. The pate was good (I'm used to salad with pate and this dish was served with pickles. It was a nice change) very full after. Would love to return and try a new dish.

Amazing food, friendly service and very reasonable pricing. Had a great dinner out for my birthday and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

Delicious food and very nice staff. We have pierogi, pork schnitzel, devolay… Everything was delicious and fresh.

The Polish restaurant has a pleasant traditional atmosphere. The service was great. Our server was knowledgeable and communicative. The food was the star of the show. Pork schnitzel with rich mushroom sauce, spinach and feta dumplings (swimming in butter 🤤) and Potatoe pancakes with Gouda cheese (my favorite).

Fabulous yum meal and service was great. We will be back

As an Eastern European I would recommend this place. Good food and services at fair prices. The restaurant looked clean and tidy when I visited it. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. I would recommend to book your table in advance as you might not be lucky to find a free one. Overall it was worth it.

Although we did not use the restaurant (we were attending a private function), going by the Buffet supplied, the restaurant should be great. Service at the Buffet was very good and the surroundings pleasant.

Really great food - I highly reccomend Barley with mushroom sauce and the spinach pierogi! Good alcohol selection and a lovely atmosphere.

Nice place and good food albeit a bit pricey. They are also a bit understaffed so be prepared that waiting time is a bit longer than usual.

Competing with the best restaurants in Kraków. The mains we ordered were like in Poland, if not better. Make sure you book in prior. There is a private parking if you are going by car. Highly recommended!

Pros It was a good experience to visit the Polonia club to have traditional Polish food with our friends. We had lots of main courses. First of all, it was cabbage rolls it was very delicious thin we had mashed potato with fried chicken and cheese with cranberry sauce it was tasty. The ingredients were fresh and the atmosphere was wonderful. Cons We didn’t like the fish (herring) and the space was a little cramped. Overall opinion We like this experience and we plan to go again.

Well.. I'm very fussy with the service and quality of food.... Service was very enjoyable, the waitress was always in front not talking behind my back- very nice. Food... Finally! If you want to try real home made polish dishes- this is the place to go, 100% recommend 👌

So good to experience genuine delicious Polish food! I had the placki with beef goulash after a starter of herring; my husband had spinach pierogi , all washed down with Zywiec lager ( me) and a hop ale ( him). All in a vrry friendly and family- friendly atmosphere. Despite being very busy ( it was a Saturday night!) they managed to fit us in so we had to wait until a table was free. Best to book on a Saturday. Bardzo dobzie!

A very cosy atmosphere, it felt very much like I was in a family dining area. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and the food was the best I've had outside of Poland. The pricing was also very reasonable. All in all, a fantastic place to eat, and I'm already planning my next meal there! Thank you so much to the staff there (including the chefs)!

What an amazing food, this has been a complete surprise. I have tried many polish restaurants all over the UK, but never had such a good experience. Top quality food cooked on a high skill level. Congratulations to the chef (Łukasz I’ve been told)

Mialam tam swoja niespodziankę urodzinowa, jedzenie było wyśmienite , starter chleb ze smalcem i ogórkami kiszonymi był super i starczyło dla naszej czwórki , Dania główne pierogi i gołąbki bardzo dobrze przyprawione i porcje są spore, jestem zachwycona i polecam na każda okazje

I love going to Polonia. The food is good, the service is excellent and friendly. I grew up eating Polish food in NY (my mom was Polish) and I like to go there when I feel homesick. Love it!

A meal at the Polonia is always a pleasure, and a must every time I visit Cambridge with a friend. The warm welcome, cosy setting, fantastic range of vodkas and delicious Polish dishes keep drawing us back. We know the place well and were so touched that they remembered us from our last visit, a long time ago in pre-covid days. There really is no other place like it!

Was there first time 4 years ago. Nothing special. But after last visit? My favourite restaurant in Cambridge!!!

My husband had been years before and wanted to see how it was now. We came by for a drink on the way to a friend's place when visiting Cambridge on a Saturday evening. Really loved the charming service and drink selection, we tried oak aged vodka and oak aged vodka with walnut. We were so impressed we booked a table for lunch the next day. Again we were not disappointed - lovely, friendly kind staff, especially the lady who looked after us. Really nice relaxed Sunday lunch atmosphere. Lovely Polish food, and honestly one of the best (polish or otherwise) cheesecakes I have tasted. I would love to come back and try the other items on the menu. Thank you very much for such a lovely experience! I can't wait until next time I am in Cambridge.

What a meal! Had Potatoe Cakes topped with Beef Goulash. Delicious tender beef in a delightfully flavorful sauce. Service was great. Also had Popular Polish Lager that wasn't to bad.

I never tried Polish cuisine and this was the first time. We LOVED the food so much. Starter: Sledzie W Smietanie(herriings in creamy sauce) and Kielbasa Z Rusztu(grilled Polish sausage) Main: Pierogi Z Lososiem I Szpinakiem(salmon and spinach pierogi) and Pierogi Z Miesem ( meat stuffed pierogi) Dessert: warm apple pie and Polish chocolate cake And their popular lagger Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will go there again soon

Polonia is a cosy little restaurant with delicious polish food, cakes, beer, vodka, just name it. All staff is very attentive and kind. There is also an outdoor seating area for the summer months. Highly recommended.

Very nice food and friendly staff (particularly the lady with short dark hair and glasses). The food was nice and seemed home made. I hope pierogi were also home made. The selections of salads could be bigger.

Przyjemny i zadbany lokal, miła i profesjonalna obsługa, duży wybór dań. Ale... Brak konkurencji powoduje, że ceny są dość wysokie. A może źle dobrany pakiet w menu? Do dania z karty wliczony jest 1x dodatek, więc wybierając np. surówkę (kosztem ziemniaków / frytek), wasz talerz będzie wyglądał raczej smutno: w moim przypadku to średniej wielkości kotlet i surówka z selera = £13.00. Raczej się tym nie najemy, więc trzeba doliczyć £3.00 za frytki / ziemniaki, cena zestawu wyniesie £16.00. Drogo! Niestety mam porównanie z innymi polskimi lokalami w UK , raczej nie będę częstym klientem Polonii, na kulinarnej mapie Cambridge znajduje się wiele ciekawych i cenowo atrakcyjnych miejsc. EDIT 21/01/2022 I'm not used to edit, noir come back to reflect on my reviews on Google, however this time I feel like making an exception based on Polonia's Club reply to my comments. To get a full picture of how owners treat those who are not fully satisfied with their restaurant, its worth scrolling down and read more reviews and theirs replies to customers - I've found their language quite offensive, almost oppressing. A few things I would like to clarify: 1.I wasn't looking for an 'all you can eat' buffet as owners suggested, simply I've expressed my disappointment in balance value-to-money, which was simply not there. 2. You have replied 'prices are much below average' - well, if you benchmark yourself against the highest cost restaurants in area, you might be right, but don't make a full out of your customers, ingredients you're using in your kitchen are very basic and almost 'off the shelve', nothing fancy TBH. 3. You have replied ' as a business we learn from feedback..' - are you? Clearly I am not the first customer making comments about your menu / prices / portions. Seems like you have chosen to ignore those. 4. You call customers that give you a constructive feedback 'all you can eat seekers' and 'keyboard masterchefs' , which only shows how hostile owners are toward people with different opinions than theirs. 5. You have replied 'I am not sure where else you go to eat out.... you may want to go back there...' - looking down on other Google reviews I 've noticed that I am not the first customer to have that reply from you. I have praised quality of your food, the service and atmosphere, my (in my humble opinion) honest and constrictive feedback about prices & portions have made you write that, which makes me (and perhaps others) feel unwelcomed. Let me clarify one last thing - my aim of taking time, and even bothering to rate you and write the review, was to make owners reflect on recurring comments. I was hoping my (and other users) feedback will contribute to make your position as a restaurant stronger in Cambridge, which I really wish you to achieve, as we have a great cuisine and should be really proud of polish food. How they say - take it, or leave it. Best wishes

Great food, atmosphere like at friends'.

Such a wonderful polish restaurant. The cuisine is authentic and the menu is very extensive. The owner kindly accommodated us for dinner despite not having a reservation. The meal was served piping hot and was very tasty. The portions are generous and the restaurant is reasonably priced. The ambience and Decor is homely. The restaurant is very clean. It is intimate and there is no music playing constantly in the background which makes the restaurant even more enjoyable. I am grateful for such a lovely evening here. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. It is family friendly.

Jedzenie bardzo smaczne ale niestety porcje małe. Dużo pomyłek w menu (zawyżone ceny na rachunku). Obsługa raczej średnia, pan kelner nieuprzejmy.

Nie polecam. Bardzo drogo. Obsługa od pracownika Włocha fatalna. Zero profesjonalizmu.
