The best restaurants serving British food in East of England

Hi we went there for dinner, the place was clean and tidy, the service was ok, we were in the rear restaurant which was pleasant but had no atmosphere. The food was ok but not quite the standard of other places we have visited in the area. It’s worth a visit.

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast in there on Bank holiday Monday. Food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. We will go back

Highly recommend going to the Crabtree. Staff are incredible friendly even when they’re busy and short staffed. Tanya in particular was extremely welcoming and helpful when we were debating what to have off of the menu. Will definitely go again.

Nice pub, nice food, brill atmosphere sit in or outside, went with family would recommend 😊

The Green Dragon was lovely! The staff were very accommodating for a table of 10 with 2 birthdays. They gave the birthday people a card each, let us set up decorations, and sorted out the cakes for us. The food was lovely and service was really quick. Special mention to Michelle and Amber who looked after us, and went above and beyond to help us with the birthday cakes. They made the whole experience great - really enjoyed ourselves. We come quite often and would definitely recommend!

The room was immaculate. The staff were warm, welcoming and smiley, couldn’t have been anymore helpful. The food tasted incredible, coffee is delicious. All-round wonderful hotel and eatery!! Highly recommend 🙂

We visited the pub, service was ok and the beer was nice. A bit more expensive than I would have liked. The Texan BBQ was average with an overwhelming amount of bbq sauce that I had to scrape of with a knife before eating. Really good location though. Truffle fries were nice.

Great boozer, we came here for food and it did not disappoint. All round great food, in particular our waitress Alice was amazing, truly making our experience. Will be returning no doubt.

This pub was a really good find. Served by friendly staff. There is plenty of outdoor seating front and back (lovely garden) with BBQ area, outdoor sheltered TV, and several cosy pods. Nice eating area in doors. Spacious bar area with plenty of drink choices.
